Spectacular Views!! Beautifully Updated!! No Resort Fees!

Hurricane Update: Flippers (onsite restaurant), Lover's Key State Park and the beach of Fort Myers Beach are open and as viable as ever. Several of the restaurants on the south end of Fort Myers Beach remain closed, but there are many restaurants open on the north end of the island (via trolley) and Bonita Springs shopping and dining is at100%

Imagine yourself just steps from what the Travel Channel calls #4 of the 10 best beaches in the world! Nestled on Black Island where there are only 3 other buildings, Lover's Key Resort and views from our condo boast unprecedented water views, dolphins, manatee, sea turtles, and more. Don't confuse this unit with some of the smaller condos in the same resort. Not only are we located on the 10th floor where the views are nothing short of amazing, but our condo is much larger than many of the other units in the building. The unit has a full-size, modern, fully furnished kitchen, flat screen TV, king size bed, jacuzzi tub, separate shower, pull out sofa bed and more. Wireless Internet is also included free of charge. This is our favorite unit of the 2 that we own!!

On site, the resort offers an amazing geothermal pool with a cascading waterfall, hot tub, laundry, restaurant/bar (the best one on Fort Myers Beach, in our opinion), gas grills and more. While there is a small beach at the resort itself, Lover's Key State Park is only 1 mile away and easily accessible by trolley, private vehicle or on foot.

Lover's Key Resort is located on the more elegant and quieter, south end of the beach. Just a short trolley ride away (approx. 75 cents) is the hustle, bustle, and action of the north end of Fort Myers Beach and the famous Fort Myers Beach Times Square. There you will find countless bars, night, clubs, restaurants, and shops. Head south about 20 miles to Naples (no trolley service) and check out 5th Avenue and the world class shopping and dining that is offered there.

Boat rentals, fishing trips, golf courses, Everglades tours, kayaking, shelling, para-sailing, and more are all nearby.

Our hosts were responsive and accommodating. We asked for extra bed pillows, which they happily provided. They quickly answered our questions and provided check-in information plenty of time in advance. And what a view!

The entire stay was amazing! The host was wonderful to work with and easy to communicate with. The views in the condo are stunning and the resort is top of the line. I hope to stay here again sometime. Would definitely recommend staying in this condo with no hesitation.

We had a wonderful time at Tina & Dave's beautiful condo! Communication with both was excellent leading up to & during our stay.Their place was updated with all the amenities you would want.The views though were probably the best part of our stay! High up on the 10th floor, we could see water for miles! Great view of the pool too for when we wanted to scope out our chairs for the day.Comfy bed & large updated bathroom.You will not be disappointed staying here!

We could not get the bedroom TV turned on. Mop in the hall closet smelled terrible. We left it outside during our stay and returned to closet when we left.

Comfortable Stay with AMAZING Views!

My family and I enjoyed spending our vacation here very much! The condo was well stocked with plenty of supplies for cooking. The bed in the master bedroom and the sofa bed were very comfortable. Not to mention, the amazing views everywhere we looked (we saw dolphins and manatees from the windows!) and the quiet laid back atmosphere of the resort during our stay made this a vacation we hope to repeat!

Five-Star Stay at Tina and Dave's Lovers Key ApartmentOur stay at Tina and Dave's apartment in Lovers Key was absolutely incredible! The location is unbeatable - perfectly positioned as a midpoint between Fort Myers and Naples, with easy access via scenic routes to Captiva and Sanibel Island.The real highlight was their modernised 10th-floor apartment with breathtaking views. While our ecotours barely yielded any wildlife sightings, we were completely mesmerised by the daily wildlife show right from our apartment window. We watched manatees, dolphins, pelicans, and so much more - all from the comfort of our gigantic window overlooking the water.The apartment was perfectly equipped with everything we needed to be completely self-sufficient. One of our favourite features was the barbecue area downstairs, where we could cook our meals and then bring them up to enjoy candlelit dinners on the balcony while taking in those stunning views.I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for the perfect combination of location, views, amenities, and facilities. Tina and Dave have truly created one of the best vacation spots we've ever experienced. Five stars without hesitation!

BELIEVE all the 5 star reviews!! Dave and Tina’s place in Lover’s Key Resort is tastefully adorned, well stocked with all the cookware, toiletries and supplies you could ever want or need, and….the VIEWS!! Wonderful stay

Lovely unit with great views…clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything you might need including beach towels and chairs. Pool and hot tub area was a relaxing place to enjoy the late afternoon - only downside is not being able to access the beach by foot due to bridge construction but Lovers Key SP is a short 1 mile drive away

March weekend getaway

The views from this condo are second to none. Sunrise and sunsets are fabulous. We saw all kinds of marine life and even saw the rocket stream as it launched one morning from Cape Canaveral. The owners were super helpful and easily communicated with. The pool is very nice great resort feel right on the bay. Lots of action with the boats & jetski's whizzing by. We live in Florida so planned timing well to spend one day out on Sanibel. Traffic is terrible so if you want to do that be prepared to leave very early but well worth perfect day out on the islands. Take a boat ride out of Captiva early is wonderful. Otherwise I would recommend keeping activities close to the condo so you're not sitting in your car for hours. Lovers Key State Park is beautiful lots to do and just down the street. The food at the restaurant on site was very good. Next time I would just order pick up from there and dine on condo balcony with much better views. Condo has eclectic decor. I would recommend updating with more comfortable couch & chair in living room. The bed was comfortable. I may have missed it but I think you will only be able to stream prime video, Netflix etc for evenings in on your personal device. Overall for our visit the condo had had what we needed. We will be keeping this on our list for getaways.

This is our 3d condominium in the Lover's Key Resort Building. We obviously feel that the resort and the building are superior to any other on Fort Myers Beach.

The on site and award-winning restaurant, Flippers on the Bay sets this resort above many others. Further, the amazing views from this condo are simply unprecedented. Not only can you enjoy our back bay, filled with dolphins and manatee, but views of the Gulf of Mexico are also just a glance in the other direction.
