Beautiful two bedroom condo located in Emerald Waters. Emerald Waters is a luxurious 36 unit condominium on the western edge of Frangista Beach in Destin. Away from the high-rises and congestion, youā€™ll love this stretch of Scenic Gulf Drive that is lined with palm trees, manicured lawns, and located just steps away from the beach. This area of Destin will feel like your home away from home. Enjoy breakfast and the great views, while relaxing on this spacious 4th floor balcony or walk to one of the many nearby restaurants. At Emerald Waters, you are only minutes away from excellent dining and shoppingā€¦ā€¦.and the beach is just across the street!

Youā€™ll love this recently renovated 4th floor condo. It has new paint and crown molding installed throughout the unit.

This condo has a large kitchen that includes granite countertops, side-by-side refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, cookware, and all the utensils you might need during your stay. A utility room is located just off the kitchen which houses a full size washer and dryer.

The master bedroom is located just off the living room and is furnished with a king size bed. This bedroom also connects to the balcony through a private doorway, which is an added feature that most units in this complex donā€™t have. The master bathroom includes a combination shower/tub which is jetted. The second bedroom includes a queen size bed and is located adjacent to the kitchen, just off the main entry way. The second bathroom includes a combination shower/tub and has a shared entry way off the bedroom and kitchen. The brand new sofa in the living area includes a queen size sleeper. There is a TV and DVD player provided in each bedroom and the living room.

If you enjoy shopping, this condo is within minutes of the Silver Sands Outlet Mall and Destin Commons. Popular restaurants such as Pompano Joeā€™s and Whaleā€™s Tale are within walking distance.

Relax at the beach, go shopping or dining, play golf at one of the many great courses and return to the comfort of this luxury condo. Emerald Waters is our home away from home and a wonderful vacation get-away for you and your family.

Renters must be at least 25 years of age. No pets allowed.

2 Beach Chairs and 1 Umbrella are provided FREE OF CHARGE each day of your stay (March 1st - October 31st). Service provided by La Dolce Vita and setup is directly in front of the complex.

The location was perfect! Beach was so close and convenient along with a souvenir shop in walking distance too! I also loved having the chair rentals included with our stay!

Conveniently located across from the beach access and included beach chairs and umbrella. That really was the icing! Not having to pack chairs and carry everything to the beach was a game changer! Stay was clean, master room prob needs a new mattress soon but otherwise very nice

Relaxed to the max

It rained or it was double red flags the whole time. But oh well still relaxed in the condo. The condo was fantastic to relax in and sit on the balcony and watch the waves. Property owner was very communicative especially when I experienced difficulties with the vrbo app. Definitely staying here again!!

Great Condo / Exceptional Owner

We've stayed in a lot of condos and this one is at the top of the list. Very comfortable. NOT beach themed. A comfortable sleeper sofa and a love seat so plenty of seating. The king bed was so comfortable, it was hard to get up in the mornings. Very close to beach. I highly recommend this condo. Dusty is very nice and very easy to work with. We will return!!

Spring Break 2025

The condo was overall great. Very clean and well maintained. Nicely decorated. Kitchen had everything you would need for cooking meals. Very well stocked with towels and other toiletries. Having a two year old it was nice to have access to a vacuum and broom to clean up messes. Beds were very comfortable. Only complaints I have about the condo: I would recommend updating the shower heads, the air conditioner was kinda loud when it would come on, also the water heater would occasionally make a strange sound. I am a light sleeper so the noise would wake me up. This of course had nothing to do with the host or condo but we did have some loud teens/ young adults several nights. They were on a floor below us. We had to call it in one evening because of how loud they were being from their balcony. This is our 1st time staying on Gulf Scenic Drive. Be aware there is a lot of action/traffic going on all day and evening. It was my nice to have things in walking distance though: Beach access, Restaurants, ice cream, and souvenir shops.

Great property!!

We had all we needed for a week long relaxing vacation. Weā€™ve stayed in the area the last 6 years and this condo by far, is our favorite. Laundry facilities inside the condo, close to everything and the beautiful beach across the streetā€¦ā€¦.

Very nice stay

Overall, this was a great unit and I would recommend you staying. First of all, the location is great. Youā€™re a 5-minute walk to their private beach, youā€™re close to restaurants, youā€™re on the 4th floor with a balcony with a nice view of the bay and pool, and the condo has a pool for those wanting to skip the beach. The owner provides two chairs and an umbrella thatā€™s setup and taken down for you daily. Way cool! The beds and unit itself is comfortable, clean and sufficiently stocked. There are a few minor issues. The internet connection is NOT password-protected and is SHARED with all residents in the condominium ā€“ this made me nervous. The hot tub never got hot, but when itā€™s 90 degrees, who cares??? Kitchen lacked cooking condiments, so be sure to bring those special sauces or spices. Lastly, families should bring beach items (beach towels, sand pails and shovels, boogie boards, etc.).

Our Home Away from Home

We have stayed at Emerald Waters Beachside Condo Complex for six years. This year, 2021, was our 4th year staying in unit 408 for three months. Upon entering the unit we were greeted with many updates: New laminate wood flooring in entry, kitchen, dining, living room and both bathrooms. The Master & Guest bedrooms were updated with new berber carpeting as well as new bed coverings. New glass-top electric stove, microwave & dishwasher. Both bathrooms included updated shower curtains and new throw rugs. The condo includes an in-unit washer & dryer. The 36 unit Emerald Waters complex itself offers an elevator which joins both buildings. Carts are available for guests loading and unloading items to and from your vehicle to your rental unit. The outdoor pool is heated during January thru March there is a hot tub in the pool area. Complex is approximately a 2 minute walk to the security gate which provides access to the sandy white beaches on the ocean The condo is not only well appointed but is in a great location. It includes partial views of the ocean & public beach area down the street. During most evenings, we enjoy the beautiful sunsets from our condo and/or the balcony. There is an abundance of shopping nearby, restaurants as well as other sights or activities to do. We truly enjoy staying in Dusty & Andrea's condo. Dusty is quick to response to any needs or concerns you may have. The condo truly is the next best thing to living in your own home. Don & Roberta MN Snowbirds

Great Winter Getaway !

This was our 5th year staying at the Emerald Waters Complex and our 3rd year staying this condo. The Emerald Waters complex provides an abundance of restaurants & shopping nearby. This unit is our " favorite condo" in the complex. It is well appointed, nicely decorated, very comfortable & provides gorgeous sunsets. It has now become our second home during the winter. Access to the beach is a 5 minute walk across the street. Dusty is very quick to respond to any issues that arise. We are very excited to be returning to the condo for 2021. Great Space

This is a great space for a smaller family - 2 bedrooms/2 baths. Some cooking utensils/pans could be upgraded - but as we were with another group in a larger condo below us we did most of the cooking and eating there so it was not really a problem for us. But still like I said we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!! And definitely recommend! Beach is just across the street and down some steps so that was great also. All our kids made good use of the pool also in between and after visits to the beach. Thanks for the great stay!!!

Great Winter Retreat !

This was our 4th year staying at the Emerald Waters Complex and our 2nd year staying in here. The Emerald Waters complex provides an abundance of restaurants & shopping nearby. This unit is our " favorite condo" in the complex. It is well appointed, nicely decorated, very comfortable & provides gorgeous sunsets. It has now become our second home during the winter. Access to the beach is a 5 minute walk across the street. At the last minute, we decided to also rent their condo for the month of December. Dusty indicated he had already scheduled an appointment for the carpets to be shampooed and was concerned it would be an inconvenience to us. We indicated it was not & would be happy to oblige in any way we could. Dusty is very quick to respond to any issues that arise. Unfortunately, the exhaust fan in the master bathroom quit working & kitchen faucet started to leak from the spigot (neither needing immediate repair). We contacted Dusty and he quickly responded; a maintenance man was scheduled & the issues were resolved. We are very excited to be returning to the condo for 2020. Thank you again for renting to us. Lovely property and very close to beach and convenient.

My husband and I took our daughter and her family to the beach June 30 - July 7, 2018. We stayed at unit 408. The unit was lovely, very nicely appointed and comfortable. The view from the balcony was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was large enough we did not feel crowded. I love staying on old highway 98 directly across from the beach. You can get to the beach quicker than you can if you are in a high rise directly on the beach. I would highly recommend the unit to anyone else looking for a vacation spot.
