Stay ocean-side and enjoy many benefits of an oceanfront complex without paying oceanfront prices. Guests staying in Ocean One 406 enjoy a landscape view, free wi-fi and won't have to cross a street to reach the Atlantic Ocean and its white sandy beaches. 4th floor ocean-side condo sleeps 6 people with comfort. King bed in the primary bedroom, another King in BR 2 plus 2 Doubles in BR3. New 60" smart TV in the living room and ceiling fans plus USB chargers in all 3 bedrooms. After hours in the surf, vacationers rinse under the outdoor shower located on the complex's private beach walkway and then dip into the oceanfront swimming pool. Ocean One has added a brand new grilling area to the complex just beyond the pool. Ocean One is a five story elevator building located in South Forest Beach. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Ocean One is one block from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. Has three flat screen TVs.

This was a fantastic apartment for our family while we visited Hilton head for a wedding. Location is fantastic - on the beach and a quick walk from shops, restaurants and bars. While the apartment was on the fourth floor, elevator access was a big plus for us, as we were traveling with my mother in law who can't get around very easily. Unfortunately our stay was washed out - it rained all day, every day - but that meant we made full use of the common area.Overall a great experience - we would definitely rent from Buddy again.Loved that every room had its own attached bathroom

Loved the property! Beautiful landscaping, wonderful firepits, unit exactly as presented online.Only minus, our granddaughter was heartbroken when her desire to swim in the pool with lights on at night did not happen. Although the signage indicated the pool closed at 9 the pool was locked well before 9. She was terribly disappointed.

Great location but no pool

We really enjoyed the accommodations. We did find out only 3 days before our arrival that the pool was not available. We would have used the pool and maybe opted to rent somewhere else is we knew that a head of time. However the location was ideal for us!

Golf trip with buddies

Property is in perfect location for walk to restaurants and beach. Many golf courses close by and easy to get too! Perfect space for our golf trip.

Great place!

The location was wonderful and the condo was wonderful. We stayed in a 3 bedroom condo and were surprised the washer/dryer listed in the description was a quarter operated machine on each floor. Otherwise, the listing accurately described the condo. We had a wonderful time.

The condo was perfect, it had everything needed. The location of Ocean One is perfect. Kids can walk to Coligny Plaza for shopping and beach is easily accessible. We had a gem test time!

Great location close to Caligny

Spent month pf February here and had a great time. Weather was not good first 2 weeks, cold and raining but we did still have fun. Plenty of good restaurants close by within walking distance. Unit was well equipped in the kitchen though could use a few more teaspoons! My only other complaint is the washing machine made a LOT of noise when running. Clothes got clean and it drained just fine, but it sounded like a couple of bowling balls were in with wash for the first few minutes, then it would settle down. No issues/damage to our clothes, and I forgot to report it as we didn't use it that much and I kept forgetting. Owners may want to have that looked at though. All in all a great experience and I would book here again.

We booked it on Mother’s Day and flew to HHI on that Tuesday. We had a wonderful time. Unit was clean and in our favorite part of the island. Beach was terrific and none of us wanted to go home. We’re hoping to come again in October.

Hilton Head Family Vacation 2024

The unit/property was very convenient to the beach and Coligny Plaza. It was a perfect spot for our family of four(all adults). The unit was very clean and well stocked with paper products/soap/electric cords to charge devices and kitchen supplies. My only regret is that the shower faucet in one of the bathrooms was broken and it ran pretty full force the entire time. It was not heard if kept the door to bathroom closed but it was annoying. Was told owner was aware but that the only way to fix it was to replace the whole shower unit? It would have been nice to be informed of the issue ahead of our stay. Overall though we had a great time.

Perfect Family Friendly Location

We’ll appointed property that is consistent with the listing. The location is perfect if you like walking places. We had 2 small kids so the quick walk down to the pool and beach was amazing. Also a beautiful park across the street and tons to do at Coligny Plaza. We cooked most meals in the condo, while a little disorganized the kitchen has most of what we needed. Our only “issue” was that the blinds in all of the rooms are pretty dated/missing some slats so they did nothing to keep out the light. I’d suggest bringing some temporary blackout shades if you have little kids or are sensitive to light when sleeping. Property management was responsive and easy to work with, which is always a plus! Overall we would stay here again!

Great location, could have been alot cleaner

Great location, check in quick and easy, spacious for our family and friends. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the condo, definately bare minimum was done. Under the dressers and beds did not look like they have been vacuumed in a very long time. I cleaned up sticky, brown soda all over the table and legs. I wish it would have been cleaned alot better. The blinds in the bedrooms were missing and broken which made the sunlight annoying in the mornings. New blinds in boxes were under the beds.

We’d be safer at the beach from a hurricane than in our beloved western North Carolina?!This was for 20th annual “girls trip “to Hilton Head. As usual, we enjoyed the sunrises, the beach, the pool, good eating, good friendships, and good relaxing. Some even found time to shop,making our one rainy day a special kind of fun for our shopaholics. While our friends and family were riding out the devastation from Helene, some of us even Had to extend our stay by two days, before we could return home because of impassible roads. We all agree ocean one is “the only “place to stay For it convenience, beautiful beach, and Comfortable accommodations. Folks and short vacation are always most helpful and accommodating. Give us a discount for the two additional days.

Very good but the unit and complex are definitely in need of updating.

The unit is good, clean and has everything you need but the unit and condo complex are really in need of an update. Baseboards, flooring, beds, elevators, are all in need of updates. We also did not have any dish soap (other than dishwasher tabs) and only 3 large trash bags. Having stayed in this complex for 15 plus years it just seems nothing is being adequately updated and the service/cleaning level seems to be declining. Also the pool closing time has changed from 10p to “sunset” - my kids used to love a nighttime swim and I’m not sure why this has changed.

Great location, Needs updating, Parking issues

I stayed in Ocean One in the late 80’s. These condominiums have been around for a long time. They are built well and practically soundproof, which is a plus. The location is perfect as you are a right at the beach and also walking distance to a number of good restaurants/bars and shopping. Biggest issue for us was parking. If you read the description, there is nothing that says you are limited to two spots for this rental. That is an issue when you travel with other couples or with your adult children as we did. We didn’t find out until the week before we were leaving that we wouldn’t be allowed to have three cars and plans were already made. We ended up having to take one car to the Hilton head airport and parking there. It was $60. The rental company throws that back on ocean one even though they are the ones that do not put this information in the description. They should and when I mentioned that, they didn’t say a word. I noticed the description still hasn’t been updated. That aside, this condo needs new mattresses. All are soft and old. You can see indentations in the king mattress. They could also use a proper wine opener. On the positive, We cooked a lot for meals and the kitchen was pretty well-equipped. The unit was clean and the common area was nicely furnished. I believe there are TVs in each of the bedrooms and one in the common area. We didn’t watch any television. For this unit, you are paying for the location! Also note that this unit does not have a beach view. I made the mistake when we booked of thinking that it did. It is on the parking lot side. Overall, we liked the location and price.
