Springwood 97 - Forest Beach 1st Floor Flat - 3 Bedrooms

Springwood 97 has just completed a remodel of the kitchen in April of 2022. The bathrooms are fresh and contemporary after being renovated in November of 2017! Springwood 97 is a first-floor flat with no steps to navigate. King in master bedroom, two queens in bedroom 2, 1 Queen and 1 Twin in bedroom 3 plus a sofa bed in the living room. This property is 3 blocks from the Atlantic Ocean beach and within 1 block of the Van Der Meer Tennis Center. This community has an on-site pool and a toddler pool. Parking is available at the front door of each property. Springwood is within walking distance of Coligny Plaza, the Beach Market and the new Lowcountry Celebration Park. This quaint downtown area offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. The "Breeze" Free Island-wide Trolley also has a pickup/drop off point at the entrance of Springwood. Park your car and leave it! The Breeze can get you there. (Trolley Maps and schedules available on Seashore Website under Things To Do).

Yearly Trip to Hilton Head

This was by far the best property we stayed on outside of the resort areas. Location was excellent and nearby shops for my wife to visit. Condo was great with three separate rooms and three separate bathrooms made it a really enjoyable experience.

This is a very nicely updated condo in a great location.

Very easy check-in. I liked not having to go back by the office to drop off keys since the condo has keyless entry.

Highly recommend!!

Clean, modern villa. Updated kitchen and bathrooms; it felt luxurious! Generous size pool with a tropical courtyard. The pictures of this property looked great, and it was even better than what the pictures showed. We will definitely stay at this property again!

Spring at Springwood

We are familiar with Springwood and were again pleased with staying here. This unit was set up nicely for a family to stay the whole week. The kitchen was well stocked with items needed for meals, which was very much appreciated. We missed the pool opening by a day, but it’s always a nice area to walk around and enjoy the scenery. We love being close to the new park and ride scooters there daily.

Great location

Great please to stay . Very vice kitchen and bathrooms. Could definitely be cleaner . The kitchen should get some more utensils and cups for sure . But had a nice time and stay .

When we took a shower in the bedroom as you come in the front door the steam would set the fire alarm off. I called and reported it and they said they would check it out. Other than that it was great.

Convenient Comfort

The condo is located within walking distance of the beach or Coligny Plaza. You have access to the community pool and the AC works amazingly. I highly recommend this condo. A few things to be aware of: Everything you need to cook with is present, but there are no coffee, seasonings, or other cooking ingredients like sugar or flour available (come prepared). In the back bedroom, close to the entry, one of the bed frames was broken and had indications it had been fisfixedex multiple times. The shower in that bedroom was not draining properly.

Always Love Coming to HHI

We've stayed at Springwood 97 twice before in the last eight years that my friends & I have been vacationing in HHI. The condo is in a great location & most of the condo amenities are fine. The only thing I'd suggest updating is some of the kitchen amenities, like the cookware & things of that nature. Maybe bath mats in the showers because the floors are extremely slippery. Other than that, it was a great experience as always. I definitely recommend going to the Carolina Tasting Room! They have wine slushies that are fantastic.

Excellent access to Coligny Park, the playground and the beach (via the main entrance or between Seaside Villas). Everything you need for a long stay can be purchased in Coligny Park which is convenient. Great location for a family. Especially nice to go out to dinner and not need to worry about driving home. You can hear footsteps from the second floor, but it wasn't a big deal for us. Second year in a row using Seashore Vacations and am very pleased with our experience. Looking forward to year 3! The only thing I could see to improve the unit is an updated and nicer set of outdoor patio furniture. We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 night stay. We would stay there again and recommend it.

Very spacious...

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very roomy and spacious. Bathroom remodels are wonderful - Master shower is like a massage. Plenty of linens and towels provided, as well as "starters" of soap, tp, etc. Middles of rooms had been cleaned, but the rest needed attention (under/behind furniture, blinds, cabinets, etc.). Kitchen needs some attention - lazy susan doesn't turn, toaster did not work, only the bare necessities to make meals, cabinets dirty. Master bedroom could use a new mattress (very soft and slopes to the sides). We contacted rental agency a day or two into our stay with regard to above issues (except toaster as we realized that at the end), but had no response. If the rest of the condo gets updated like the bathrooms, it would be a gem.

Great Place but Parking Problems

This would have been a straight 5 stars, but parking was not good. They have signs stating parking is strictly enforced, but when someone was parked in my spot nothing was done. I contacted the office and was told they can't help me. When I parked in other spots that weren't mine, I was harassed with notes on my car. I was afraid someone was going to damage my car for being in their spot or possibly get towed. I had to put a note on the car in my spot to take care of it myself. It worked out because the owner of the car did move it once they got the note. But I should not have had to deal with this. If I go back to Hilton Head I am not sure I will go back to the same place. If they didn't want to help me with this it makes me wonder if they would help on other issues - thankfully I had no other issues.

The queen mattresses (3 of them) need replacing. The dryer took 3 rounds to dry. The cleaning company needs to pull out the dressers and clean behind. There were socks and undies behind one and someone’s pants and shirt left in our closet. The frying pans need replacing and they don’t sit flat. All easy fixes. We enjoyed our stay! The park was a hit for the kids! Thanks for a good vacation.

Playground and open concert park, Coligny Beach and great restaurants were short car ride or within walking distance. Rooms were spacious and the AC worked great! The kitchen was functional with ample counter space. Only querk was only one parking space per unit, we had 2 vehicles, but you have to look for parking spaces that aren't marked. Still easy to park. We did not get to use the pool but it is close to the unit. The resort management company was great to work with and very responsive.
