From the pool area, a picturesque stone arch and stairs lead to private beach palapas with beach lounges set out daily by the condominium staff. Enjoy a beautiful walk down the sandy beach while you look for seashells. This beach is unlike most in PV - No crowd and no need to stay at a crowded resort to enjoy the magic and natural beauty. The dynamic beach has both soft sand and sculptural rocky outcroppings. A newly formed cove makes for entering the water to swim, snorkel, paddle board, or kayak very easy.

Where are you located?
Our condominium, "Sierra Del Mar, La Playa" is located roughly 8.5km (5.25miles), or a 15min drive, south from central Puerto Vallarta (Malecon) along the treasured coast-line toward Los Arcos.

Is there a Grocery Store / Market nearby?
There is a mini market with egg, milk , beer etc 5 min walk/2 min drive away. Main markets are located in town.

Are cabs or public transportation nearby?
There is a bus stop directly in front of our building at the top of the driveway. Cabs also tend to wait in this area during the day.

Are there restaurants nearby?
There are a variety of local restaurants both 2.5 miles south and about 5 miles north on Highway 200. We are happy to share our personal recommendations for the best restaurants, or the concierge can help you find anything you are looking for!

How does pool and beach access work?
The pool and beach are accessed from the building grounds. Both can be accessed down the hallway through the lobby with a private security code to access the beach. There is a ramp access to the pool.

Is the pool heated?
Yes. The pool is temperature controlled year-round.

Is the building / area / ocean safe?
Yes! 24hr security staff on the grounds at all times and locked security gates at the front of the building and beach entrances. There are no lifeguards present, so please swim at your own risk.

What kind of beach view is there?
The southern view of the beach shows the rocky coastline of the Bay of Banderas, while the northern view shows the city lights. The view from our patio features both 180 degree views of the bay (with firework shows at night in during the holiday season!)

Beach Activities? (Can you surf, paddle board, is the property cohesive to this)
The beach is cohesive to all water activities EXCEPT surfing. There is a very famous surf beach, Sayulita, about 1.5 hrs north of Puerto Vallarta that has some of the best surfing in Mexico if you are interested in making a day trip.

When is the best time to travel to Puerto Vallarta?
December – May is the best time to visit for good weather (avg. highs are below 30 C) and cooler sea temperatures (avg mid 20s C
July – September is rain season in Puerto Vallarta. The heat and humidity are at its highest during this part of the year, and there is a high likelihood of rain on most days, but just for a couple of hours. The ocean temperatures are at their warmest and calmest.
Shoulder season (May – June | October – November) These months feature good weather with lower likelihood of rain and clouds. The temperature tends to hover around 31 C.
