RENTAL PAYMENT PROCESS
*Upon booking via VRBO, you will pay us at Playa Beach Getaways directly for the rental amount & not VRBO. VRBO will ONLY charge your credit card for their booking fee. (This is outlined on your booking page on right side of the page: Due to VRBO, Due to Manager.) Payment is due to us upon booking at which time we will send you a secure online payment link. CANCELLATION POLICY: 50% deposit due upon booking. Balance due 30 days prior to your stay. If you cancel before the 30 days, your deposit will be refunded to your credit card.

TRAVEL & MEDICAL INSURANCE
Please purchases travel (trip cancellation) & medical insurance as you don't want to be in a foreign country without ample protection. Things happen: illness, pet illness, job loss, flight cancellations or delays & more. (This happens more than you can imagine.) The onus is on guests to protect their investment & health as if you are outside the cancellation window, we cannot offer a credit or refund. HURRICANE SEASON: Is from June 1 to Nov. 30, so please take all this into consideration as well.

THINGS WE CANNOT CONTROL*During the warmer spring & summer months (or earlier), the Mexican Caribbean may receive sargassum, (a form of seaweed which is a phenomenon). It occurs in Miami, Texas & all of the Caribbean Islands. We cannot predict if or when it will come or how much & if it will disrupt swimming & the use of the beaches. The beaches are cleaned with tractors & workers when possible so there is also no resulting sulfur smell. Conditions can also change daily. We recommend guests educate themselves about this issue before booking so there are no surprises.
- We can't control music/noise coming from outside our complex such as neighboring properties or from beach restaurants near us. 'Playa' is an international tourist spot & our location is fun & lively. The condo enjoys hurricane doors & windows which help reduce outside sound. Most guests thoroughly enjoy their stay! Our complex has quiet hours from 11PM to 9AM for the enjoyment of all of our guests.
- Construction that began in 2022 across the street has stopped due to permit issues. Should it resume, we'll let our guests know. Most guests are not affected by this.
- We are not responsible for city-wide power or water outages on the very rare occasion that service may be out.
-We are not responsbile for lost/stolen items
