We had a wonderful trip, the view from the secluded balcony was beautiful, the sounds of waves provided a relaxing background soundtrack to our daily activities, the direct access to the beach was convenient safe. Iā€™ve been staying in this area the last few years with my wife and now with our daughter. Weā€™ve stayed a couple different places and Johnā€™s place by far has the best location and view. It doesnā€™t get much better in Blue Mountain Beach.

Perfect views & location

Cannot beat the views and being right on the beach! Felt like we stepped back in an old Florida home (in the best way possible). Really enjoyed our stay here and John was extremely responsive!!

Wonderful beachfront condo

Perfect accommodations for our month stay at Blue Mountain Beach. Spectacular views, comfortable and well equipped condo. Loved the beach walks, the bike trail, the place to visit along 30A. John is an excellent host.Looking forward to our next visit.

Great Location

The condo was as described. The location was awesome and it was well stocked. John was very easy to communicate with and had work done on a ceiling fan in a timely manner. The condo does need some updating. Carpet was very worn and overall just needs a remodel. Still had a great time because location was awesome.

We loved the area and the beach. Very few high density properties around. Great beach to relax on. Great beach to walk on. Easy access to the room to refill the cooler. Exactly what we were looking for.

Great stay

The views of the beach from this condo were outstanding. It was one of the many reasons that we booked this unit. The beach was beautiful, it was quiet, and there are many good restaurants not far from the condo. John was so good to work with. He truly wants everyone who stays here to have a great vacation. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great location!

Condo is in the perfect location! Close to shopping, excellent restaurants, and a Publix minutes away, yet a less crowded area. We enjoyed the loft master with a view as well as large master bath. Nice, big balcony overlooking beautiful beach. Saw groups of dolphin one of our days. John, the owner, is super nice!

Views for Days

This condo had amazing views from all of the windows. Despite not being able to access the balcony due to construction it was still an amazing stay. The condo had all of the things we needed including beach towels, chairs, & floats. Communication with the owner was very good as well.

Location was amazing!!!

You canā€™t get any closer to the beach! Very few steps to get down there! Love the views from the condo! Internet didnā€™t work while we were there so no TV, and the unit and building needs updating. But, in all we were thrilled to be at the beach with great views!

Wonderful Spring Break week!

We had a wonderful time here over Spring Break. The views were amazing, and being right on the water is always where we want to be with both kids! It makes getting to the beach so convenient. I loved that the beach was just for the condo guests; we had lots of space and never felt too crowded. John was great with communication; we spoke leading up to the trip and he was always available to answer any questions or help us with what we needed. He also sent lots of helpful tips before our stay. We would love to return here!

Great location

We were very impressed with the attentiveness of the owner and the supplies he left for us in the unit! And of course the location and view is the big draw. The only thing that was a bit of a challenge were the many stairs we had to climb to the third floor! Totally worth it though! Thanks John!

Let me start by saying this unit was in the perfect location. The unit was well equipped and clean. Very cozy and amazing reviews. I must add that the unit is well insulated as we didnā€™t hear anything outside of the unit. John is a phenomenal host and we chatted multiple times. He was an absolute pleasure to work with on our stay. I would highly recommend anyone staying here and witnessing Johnā€™s unit and hospitality.

SPECTACULAR VIEWS

You wonā€™t find a better view! Just steps to the beach. The condo is spacious and has a vintage vibe. Beds are comfortable and the garden tub in the master is relaxing after a day on the beach. The kitchen is well appointed and has all the gadgets. The A/C keeps it comfortable and I love that they have fans in the bedrooms,for sleep sound. We had a little hiccup upon arrival, but that was an issue with housekeeping. The owner, John, is very personable and attentive. We really like him. The condo also hosts beach chairs, noodles, etc.. Canā€™t wait until our next visit.

Location, location, location

The location of the condo is fantastic with the uncrowded private beach access and a short walk to Blue Mountain Beach restaurants and shops and a short bike ride to Watercolor, Seaside and Gulf Place in Santa Rosa. The balcony view is wonderful being on the top floor with unobstructed views. The unit is well appointed and the owner, John, is very friendly and hospitable. The unit decor is very dated and could really use a deep cleaning. There is a musty smell throughout the unit and the carpeting needs to be replaced. The unit is on the 3rd floor with no elevator, but that didn't bother us. We didn't mind the extra exercise! There is construction going on in the building next door to the condo, but we didn't hear it from inside the unit. We could hear it from the beach. The location and views from this unit are best part of this condo.

BEAUTIFUL VIEWS AND GREAT FLOOR PLAN

I have been going to this area with family for over 20 years and have stayed in all kinds of properties. Our MUST HAVE is to be ON the beach with a view and a balcony/deck to sit outside. This place had it all. Views from every window!!! The floor plan is great. The two beds with the two baths/shared tub worked perfectly for us. The master upstairs has a large bathroom and the view from that bed is to die for! The kitchen is well equipped and large enough to actually cook! We had plenty of room to spread out and relax. John was so helpful and easy to work with. He made sure we lacked for nothing and is a very gracious host. We could not have had better beach and weather conditions. I was fortunate enough to get to stay 2 weeks here. HEAVEN at my HAPPY PLACE!!! Will definitely stay here again if it fits the number in our group. This trip....it was PERFECT for my two daughters and son-in-laws, new granddaughter and myself.

Great place!

My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful stay at this Blue Mountain Beach condo. Prior to our visit the owner was quick to answer several questions. It is just as pictured and is very well equipped and very clean.We would definitely recommend this property to someone looking for a comfortable quiet location at the beach. Our niece was staying just down the beach and when we asked about her place she said it was so nice: all Viking appliances and granite countertops. If you need that at the beach, this place is not for you. If you want to be as close as possible to the water where you can see the white sands and bright blue gulf waters from inside your condo and you can see for miles down the beach from the balcony, this is the place for you. Also, the master bedroom is in the loft...the views are wonderful but the lack of privacy makes us think that this would not be a good place for couples. It would have been perfect for our family through the years: young children could stay downstairs and we could be in the loft. The balcony is the best room in the house! Thanks for a fantastic vacation. I am adding you to our favorites list!

BEST VIEW ON THE GULF COAST! GREAT OWNER! GREAT EXPERIENCE

We are regulars to this area. Our first time to stay in John's Condo. We have definitely found a GREAT place to stay. We spend our yearly week on the beach here. I can say yes "On the beach". I can literally throw a rock and hit the water from the balcony. This is a 3rd story Condo with a spectacular view. Yes there are a few steps to the Condo, which is in all the ads for this property, but absolutely worth it. Our vacation experience could not have been better. John is very honest, accomodating, thorough, caring, and a pleasure to deal with. We never actually met, but I feel as though we are friends. We actually did feel "At Home". There was nothing we needed which wasn't there. We visited Destin, Seaside and Panama City while there and all within a short drive. Plenty of parking, safe and secure area, 1st Class accomodations. Lots of great places to eat. The Non-Smoking and No Pets policy was perfect for us cause my grandson has had some issues with asma in the past. The only issue I can think of is Seven days is simply not enough time to stay here. If there is any way you can, Stay longer! You will enjoy!

Amazing condo with all the amenities of home!

This was our first time staying here and we were completely surprised by what we found. The descriptions of this condo are accurate and quite frankly are a little modest. This unit is well maintained and has a beautiful view. But what is not told in the description is all the great items that are found inside of this condo that really makes you feel like you are at home. My favorite item I found in this unit was a French press. I like drinking coffee and when I discovered this little beauty my mornings were that much better. The list of items that are in this condo could go on and on, but I will just hit on the items that I found here, that other condos we stayed in did not. An emergency pack with batteries and flashlights. Clear tape and scissors, comes in handy with kids and crafts on rainy days. DVD's galore! There are several types of movies, both old and new. Lots of books to grab and get lost in while on the beach. Beach towels and a bunch of beach toys, chairs and other handy items that you can use on the beach rather than go out and buy them for a one time use. This is a great place to stay and John is a great person to help you navigate through the local attractions and the surrounding area. Best of all, when my son forgot his stuff toy there, he gladly mailed it back to us with a personalized letter to my son.

Beach Get Away

We had a wonderful time at the property! There were several issues that need to be address as far as maintenance on the property. The doors going out onto the balcony have no way of locking them because the handle is broken on one side. I purchased bungee cords to try to at least detour entry from outside.Owner acknowledged that the abiblity to lock the doors and secure the property was an ongoing problem, which I found strange that if he knew about it, I feel like it should have been corrected/repaired. The furniture and carpeting is quite stained and nasty, but we covered with towels to sit on. The closet door to access the beach items and beach towels is broken or off track and will not open or close properly. The master suite bed had a mattress cover that had a huge urine stain that was rather disgusting upon discovering when I removed the sheets to wash. The comforters in the downstairs bedroom & x-tra blankets needed washed.There are no usable electrical outlets in either bathroom downstairs and limited outlets elsewhere. ThereThere is broken tile at the deck door, there is broken glass on the closet door upstairs and a bottom piece of the upstairs tub is broken. The location is wonderful, the view from the unit is amazing, the beach area is wonderful and easy access to all surrounding areas! Again, we had a wonderful time. But, if you are looking for a clean, secure property with no issues I suggest you continue your search until these issues have been addressed.
