We enjoyed a great week with family. The perfect place to cook family meals and get out on the lake. Several beds in 4 different rooms made sleeping arrangements easy. We enjoyed being outside and playing family games at night. It was also close enough we made quick trips during the day to Holland and a beach at Lake Michigan.

We absolutely loved our time at Hutchins Lake and our stay at the cottage. This was our 7th year staying and everything with the house was wonderful for our extended family, with plenty of room. Our kids really love the sand and being out on the water. The house has everything you could need and the owners are fantastic. We are so thankful for the time we spent here and hope to come back again next year!

Again, we had a wonderful stay. Thank you Terry and Russ! Weather was cold in the am so the kids played in the sand a lot. Then some paddle boarding. No fishing this year. The one concern we had was that when we reached to put food in or take it out of the microwave, our clothes caught the front left burner and turned it on. No injuries but a bit scary. We plan to return next year!

Fantastic place to stay!!

This was our 3rd year staying here and it get better every year!! The lake is beautifull and shallow for about a 100 feet out from the shore, so there was no worries about the grand kids playing out there.

Another great stay here

This was the 4th year we’ve stayed here. The house, location and lake are just beautifull. Looking forward to returning again next year!

Beautiful, peaceful location

The home was perfect for our family and friends to gather. Plenty of room and absolutely beautiful views with the lake. Hope to plan another stay soon.

Loved the house and the lake. Great fishing, caught a 30 inch Northern. Plenty of room for the 8 adults. All the furniture and beds were very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this house and hope to return soon

Thanksgiving stay

Great plase to stay with friends and family. The owner is very communicative and always ready to help. My family and friends enjoyed the stay and I will definitely recomend this place to anyone who want to spend some quality time outside the urban area.

Bday trip with family.

Beautiful views of the lake in a quiet secluded area. Very relaxing. The beds were very comfortable. Found some antique shops nearby that were fun to visit.

Great Stay Again, Two Years in a Row

Our family of 5, with three boys under 10 years old, have stayed here twice now over the past two years. It is a quiet location with tons of fun to be had in the area, but also easy to just relax and enjoy the Hutchins Lake. Thank you for another great stay!

Great property

We rented the property for a quick weekend trip with the family. Exceptionally clean and lovely property. Close to Fennville and Saugatuck and on a nice lake itself. Highly recommend!

This property is charming and the host added some nice seasonal touches....pumpkins, flowers, a bottle of wine, etc. You can tell this property is frequently used by the host family, including grand parents, parents, and children of all ages. It is well stocked with kids books and games, etc. They accommodated us by getting their 12 foot kayaks out of storage, which we used to tour the lake a well as for kayak fishing for my husband. He caught about a dozen bass and a northern pike. There seemed to be a resident pair of swans on the lake and we encountered them fairly often...so beautiful. The property has a very nice sandy beach which leads you into cool, clear lake water which is very shallow near the beach. We took the opportunity to just land the kayaks on the beach and then just shove off the next morning. The lake view included beautiful sunsets over the lake. There were 4 bedrooms, each sleeping up to 4 people. So you could have a number of folks there staying with you. Fennville is very close by and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Salt of the Earth restaurant. Cranes is also nearby, providing another dining experience as well as an opportunity to pick apples and raspberries. You can also purchase a yummy pie from Cranes. We hope to come again.

Enjoyment, rest in an idealict place.

Staying at this comfortable, homey fully equipped house made our Tulip Time very enjoyable. Preparing our food morning and night made this place very affordable. Our host was quick and responsive to our requests. I would rent here again.
