Spring Break 2024
Overall the Phoenix X property is clean and family friendly. The unit is older and could use some TLC. All issues were reported to staff on duty. The staff was friendly and considerate of our concerns and documented our issues.

Old and cheap
I was very disappointed with this unit. There were multiple issues that had to dealt with my maintenance. When we got into our unit, there were several light bulbs out. It seems if the unit was cleaned appropriately, housekeeping should have rectified this. It was Sunday so we had to wait until Monday for lights. The toilet also required repairing as it rocked and was not secured to the floor well. We were without a toilet for a day. The response I got when I inquired about the status was" does the other toilet work". Really! I paid for two bed and two bath. It seems that the kitchen was remodeled but the work was never finished. It's missing moulding and finishing touches. Appliances, ie, the washer, dryer, dishwasher, utensils, are all cheap and inefficient. When we called to report that our a/c did not get below 73, we were told many units are like that and we should make sure to close he doors. Lastly and most significantly, was that during one of the trips by maintenance we mentioned our lock was not working properly. Maintenance insisted that it had been taken care of. The next morning when we were ready to leave, we were unable to undo the lock. WE WERE LOCKED IN. This is not safe and thank god there was no emergency. However, I called the front desk, maintenance was sent up immediately and they had to change the whole lock. This is totally unacceptable. In addition, constant calls to the front desk and maintenance raids are not what I want to be doing on vacation. I would not recommend is unit to anyone.

Jamie: I am disappointed to read about your recent stay. I will forward this to the Property Manager to address these issues. What you describe is certainly not up our standards. Knowing the Property Manager as I do, I can assure you these items will be corrected.
