This condo is offering 3 day stays during the summer months! Come for a quick getaway, or stay all week!

All units at Amelia by the Sea are direct oceanfront and feature a fresh ocean breeze from either a balcony or patio overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The master bedroom has a beautiful ocean view that is guaranteed to brighten even a cloudy day. This property has a king bed in the master bedroom and the second bedroom has a full and a twin bed. There is also a sleeper sofa in the Living Room.

In keeping with the comforts of home, you will find a full kitchen and a separate dining area. The kitchen has been updated with new cabinets, counter tops and opens to large living and dining area. A washer and dryer are provided in this unit, but feel free to forget that and just enjoy the beach or the fishing on this vacation. The 800 ft fishing pier is available to all of our guest and no fishing license is required when fishing from this private pier. If you are looking forward to just lounging around the pool, it is located on the ocean side of the complex.

Amelia by the sea is a gated complex with open parking for a MAXIMUM of 2 vehicles per unit.

Important Notice:
We're excited to share that our building is currently in its final stages of a major refresh to keep the property safe, beautiful, and welcoming for years to come.

The remaining work will focus mainly on painting the exterior of the building and balconies, as well as finishing touches to common areas like stairwells. While you may occasionally notice workers on-site and some daytime noise, it is generally much lighter than earlier construction phases.

Work is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
No work will take place on weekends
To thank you for your understanding during this improvement period, a discount off the nightly rate will be automatically applied to your stay. Please note that no additional discounts will be available, and no refunds are offered for cancellations within 30 days of arrival.

We truly appreciate your patience as we enhance the property, and we hope you'll enjoy a great value stay in a freshly updated building!

Great condo in a great location.

Family of 5 and we have stayed at Amelia By the Sea a number of times. This is a great location and a well maintained property. Will definitely be back!

Great Unit!!

My wife and I stayed in this unit for our vacation this year. It was very nice, clean, and accurate to the listing details/description/pictures. It had a great view of the ocean from the kitchen, dining room, living room, and master bedroom and the balcony was nice as well. All of the staff was very helpful and friendly. We had a great time and will be back. I highly recommend!

Very nice property, quiet and private

Nice property, a bit dated, but nice. Very clean and quiet - we never heard our neighbors! Conveniently centered on the island, and a restaurant is just across the street. We enjoyed the private pier. The ERA staff was very accommodating when our cable box went out. We had cable back within a few hours. Thanks Christie! The lovely grounds are very well kept. We will return!

Did not meet expectations.

Location and View from tje Balcony were great. This unit is in need of some updating and could use a thorough deep clean. Check in process was easy and information provided was helpful. Was disappointed that there was no communication was given that the private pier was closed and under construction. What we looked at from the balcony was different then posting. Would have been nice to been notified.

Disappointing!

The pictures and prior excellent reviews did not accurately depict the unit. The owner needs to refurbish the unit. The kitchen was a disgrace with rusted pans and utensils. The dishwasher was not adequately attached to that it started to fall forward when adding dishes. The second bedroom rug was filthy, furniture mismatched and cramped. The second bedroom bathroom had peeling tiles surrounding the tub. The ceiling tiles were chipped with tape to hide holes. The floor felt gritty when walking barefoot in the.bathroom. In the living room the couch and loveseat were stained and creaked when sitting down. The edge of the couch is coming apart. The interior paint needs touch ups throughout, It seems no one inspects the unit between renters since we found dirty and rusty fry pans in the kitchen. We are disappointed VRBO would allow such a substandard unit to be rented. The view was beautiful and location great yet major work needs to be done in order for this unit to be acceptable with more frequent inspections conducted. It’s what we expect Ed renting from VRBO! I have pictures of the items mentioned to help the owner and VRBO understand how poor this experience was. By the way, the reason for a 2 rating instead of 1 was purely because of the excellent view Also Amelia by the Sea needs exterior painting. Walls, floors and the elevator are a deep brown -.very dingy, dirty with peeling white handrails on each floor and peeling stairways. Paying roughly $600.00 per night, we expected so much more. The unit need a full overhaul before it’s ready for guests.

Spacious and convenient

Was pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to the condo and saw how open and spacious it was. Plenty of room for a family with 3 teenage kids!!! Furniture was comfy - rugs were awesome(nice and fluffy) Dock was perfect for the boys and beach for the girls! Plenty of sheets/pillows/towels! I would have liked more supplies in the kitchen(aluminum foil/baggies/garbage bags) but we just stocked up at the store on the first night! And a broom!! I wanted to sweep the sand but couldn't find a broom! :-) Would definitely stay again! Thanks!
