Welcome to this budget-friendly Double Eagle condo (managed by Ski Country Resorts Vacation Rentals), nestled along the Four O'Clock ski run for convenient ski in access. With its impressive beam and stone work, this recently updated condo offers a cozy retreat for ski and snowboard enthusiasts. Just a short stroll away from the Snowflake Chairlift, you can easily access the slopes while Downtown and Breckenridge's charming and colorful Historic Main Street are also just a few blocks away.

Step into this traditional ground-level unit, boasting 819 square feet of space, where large windows and doors bathe the interior in warm Colorado light. The authentic ski decor creates a charming atmosphere, while the living room invites you to settle in by the gas fireplace, perfect for cozy movie nights on the flat screen TV, and relax on the brand new suede sofa or futon (that both double as additional sleeping space for 4).

Prepare delicious meals in the well-appointed kitchen, featuring a stove top and a convenient 2-in-1 over-the-range convection microwave oven. Recent updates, such as new countertops and a stylish tile backsplash, add a touch of modernity. Gather around the dining table for six or the breakfast bar for three to enjoy your home-cooked meals.

The master bedroom boasts a new Queen bed with comfortable bedding and a dresser for your belongings. In the second bedroom, you'll find a Captains Bunk bed with new (as of 2023) mattresses, featuring a Double bed on the bottom and a Twin bed on top.

For some quiet relaxation time, retreat to the inviting stone patio overlooking the walking path to Breckenridge's popular Four O'Clock Ski Run - offering ski home access in Winter and close proximity to dozens of hiking and biking trails in Summer.

In addition to the ability to stay connected with wireless high-speed internet throughout your stay, the Double Eagle Complex offers other convenient amenities, including coin-operated laundry facilities. Guests of Double Eagle Condominiums can choose to opt in for keyed entry to the offsite/community Upper Village Pool Complex (availability may vary with the seasons and is often closed during early Spring & late Fall months).

Good Crash Pad

Fine place to crash, good access to Snowflake lift and easily found on 4 OClock run. Didn’t see convection oven instructions which would be painless to provide. Dishwasher is super old, Super loud (only run it when you are heading out) and tag says powder detergent only but they don’t provide any!!?? Baseboards heat too good, fans would be nice… kept dials at 55 and were warm. Entry has nice bench to sit on . Hooks to dry clothes and put gear.Front door doesn’t have a deadbolt if security is a concern.

Amazing location short walk & ski back

The location was incredible at the end of a long day of skiing. The condo is adequately stocked. The only TV in the unit is located in the living room could definitely be much bigger but the size is shown in posted pictures. You can tell that small updates are slowly being done as needed. It definitely has dated bathrooms & a kitchen but very functional & the amazing location makes it a great place. We were shocked to have a shower & a bathtub shower as we thought it was only a 1 1/2 bath but instead it was a 2 full bath. The main toilet’s chain kept getting caught in the flapper & needs a new handle so we had to jiggle the handle often to stop it from running. All in all it’s a great place & we will gladly stay there again. Thanks for the fun!

Property was pretty much as advertised. Great location. Very convenient. everything is old and dated. Beds are small. Smokey/musty smell with condo that takes a little while to get used to. But pretty much everything was as expected.

Rustic but efficient

As a first time user of this facility and VRBO process I was a little nervous. However, communication the week before check-in was efficient and helpful. It eased the stress. The property as advertized is "rustic" with a bit of the rustic meaning "dated" BUT it was clean and worked very well for our family.

Good Stay

The place was clean and had everything that was needed except for a few items in the kitchen but we worked around that. The hot tub was out of order but not the properties fault. Had a good time though! Its an older place but was well kepted for the most part.

Great location. Short walk to the Snowflake lift and ski in right to the condo door. Main Street is a five-minute walk. Great value for a clean condo right in the heart of it all.

Great Week in Breck

The condo is functional and clean, the building is older and so its dated, but if you go to Breck for the same reason we do to SKI or Snowboard then this is perfect. Everything works, its clean and the management is very responsive. We have stayed with Ski Country in the past and have had a great experience both times. Thanks for a great week.

Needs updating

There was a bloody tampon or birth control device in the shower when we got there and crumbs on the kitchen floor under the counter ledge. The puzzle was missing pieces, and there was crusty food caked on top of many pieces. There was only a convention oven instead of a traditional oven, and it was not ideal to use for baking. There were huge service fees. Overall disappointing for the cost.

Great location

My family - husband and three teenagers stayed here over new years. The location is perfect. We walked one block to the snowflake lift in the morning and skied home at the end of the day. The outdoor hot tub was awesome. The unit is comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Location

First off, I am a travel agent. This is not one of my contracted vendors. I chose this property strictly by price and location. 1. Location is AMAZING! However, the short walk to the property is uphill and with the altitude, this walk is not for the faint at heart. But being blocks from all the shops, restaurants, bars, gondola, buses is very convenient. 2. Price is perfect! This is our second trip to Colorado, so we knew we would be out most of the time. This meant we didn't want to overspend. We paid under $100 (before cleaning fees and tax) for a two bedroom condo, in a great location. Always remember...you get what you pay for :) 3. Cozy and amazingly clean but needs work. We looked up this condo on a realtor website. It said it was built in 1979 and there are a lot of 'original' items in this rental. The drywall has had so many repairs, they have now plaster stamped all the walls to cover old repairs and its chipping. The counter tops, cabinets,vanities and tiles in the bathrooms are def circa the 70's, but again, spotlessly clean. There have been a few upgrades like carpeting and a back splash in the kitchen and a top of the line microwave and a new fridge. Overall, we were cozy and very comfortable. We were close to everything we needed. The property and area felt very safe. My only complaint is wishing there was a little more usable dresser space. Happy travels!

Yikes, needs help

If you want to cook - do not stay here - it has a horrible kitchen without a normal oven. It is a convection/microwave hanging from the ceiling. They did a kitchen remodel and it is awful, a dishwasher where the stove was, and they put a flat top cookstove on top of the dishwasher. This place has not been touched since 1983 and the artwork is there to prove it. Everything is original including the single hairdryer and fan. The carpet is worn and dirty along with the furniture. I am surprised the property management hasn't stepped in to tell the owners they need to fix some things and get new furniture and artwork. The upside - it has a fantastic location and patio. The outside of the complex looks fantastic - very misleading to what you will experience on the inside. Also - we fixed the garbage disposal when we were there! HAHAHA

Great place and it’s ground level!! Could use some updating but we were fine for we were on the mountain snowboarding all day! I would rent here again.

Great Location!

Ski in at the end of the day is wonderful! Place is setup to accommodate a small family or a group of friends. Close to town and on the free Breckenridge bus route.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property was old and bedrooms small with poor lighting. Bathrooms small and outdated.

Adequate at best

This property is heavily used and is in need of updates. The complex is nice and centrally located. However being at the end of the four o’clock run is a tiring run at the end of the day. Walking out each morning to a bus or up hill to a lift is taxing as well. Thee shuttle service offered by Ski Country Resorts is great. Very convenient. The hot tub is very nice. The fire place puts out good heat but is so dirty that you can barely see the flame. The couch cushions and pillows all need replacing or steam cleaned. Not an expensive stay so I guess you get what you pay for but we would not want to stay at this unit again.
