Escape the everyday and experience the extraordinary when you make Oak Island your next vacation destination. The beach is within walking distance, your dream beach getaway awaits in the form of this cozy and comfortable home, conveniently located close to delightful attractions. Visit Oak Island Pier, Oak Island Lighthouse, and Franklin Square Park, all within a nine-mile radius.

Upon entry, you'll be met with a bright interior and a cozy atmosphere throughout the well-appointed living area. Relax and make yourself at home by resting on the plush furniture, indulging in a favorite movie on the large TV, or serving brunch on the patio. Prepare grand meals and beach picnic snacks in the eat-in kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances, ample cupboard room, and a formal dining table.

Comfortable beds in spacious rooms ensure that everyone will receive a wonderful night's rest from the day's adventures. Find the epitome of comfort in the main bedroom, which boasts a lovely en suite bathroom, a private entrance to the patio, and a crib for little guests. The property was clean upon arrival and we were able to check in early which was a nice bonus. The house was comfy for 8 people inside but lacking parking in the short, one lane driveway. The grass needed mowing but that was taken care of on our third day. The location is perfect, within walking distance of the beach. My only issues were with the neighbors to the right. That property was terrible. It was like living next to a junk yard and eye sore for sure. The folks there were only bothersome one night with their loud music. Overall we had a great stay at GiGi’s Getaway and would rent again but would request the house next door to do some outdoor clean up first.

Wonderful home in a great location

We loved our stay at Gigi’s Getaway! From the great location to the fully stocked kitchen with everything you could need and more, it was wonderful! Just a short walk to the beach made it very convenient. The home is beautifully decorated and cozy with plenty of seating for everyone to hang out together. Also very convenient to walk for grocery, restaurants, shopping, ice cream etc.

Nice family beach house

This house is set up for the beach crowd. Loads of beds and bathrooms. The location and a a few minutes from the beach, but there’s no view and the house next door is a dump.

The house was very clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable. The living quarters are cramped, but adequate. The house is close to the beach, but house next door is a mess and a large condo complex and elevated homes block the view.

Great house!

Very nicely decorated and stocked house. Many nice spaces to hang out. House is a lot bigger than the pictures depict. The yard is great as well as the 2 screened porch areas. Loved the daybed swing on the back porch. Great location, central to everything and the beach. I also have a home managed by Vacasa but it was rented so I found this house. Great find!

Great Vacation Getaway

We just stayed a week and had a wonderful time. The house was very well stocked with all amenities. We enjoyed both front n back screened in porches as well the back deck with the fenced in backyard for our Maltese to run n play in. Space inside the house was not an issue as we 4 beautiful bedrooms to choose from 2 of which had their own private bathroom. You are centrally located close to everything. We rode the golf cart to get ice cream, go to Food Lion, go to Beach (which was less than 100 yards from the house), go shopping, go out to eat. We loved everything about this place and will be definitely booking again and again.

Would not recommend

Our family stayed for a week. The house was very unclean when we arrived. Pet hair everywhere. The house next door looked trashed and abandoned but there were young kids staying there that were very loud and vulgar. We suspected drug dealings occurring throughout the week and did not feel safe going outside especially our 2 daughters that are in their 20’s. They would yell and curse at people driving by and people staying in condos across the road. We even called the police and they came to talk to them and patrolled the area for us. Would not recommend for this reason mainly and the uncleanliness.

We absolutely adored GiGi’s! We had a couple of bumps in the beginning but the host was very responsive and took care of our every need. Our family definitely enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again next summer.

I had to communicate with the host a few times. They were very friendly and helpful. The house is exactly as pictured. We were a group of 8 and fit very comfortably. The water pressure is great and the ac worked. The walk to the beach was short enough for small children to handle. The kitchen has every appliance you could need but definitely bring your own cleaning supplies; not much is provided.
