This cozy, oceanfront home allows childhood memories to make a comeback, all while providing a grown-up, private getaway to call your own.

Step away from your current reality for a chance to see true beauty in its natural environment at Sunjammer, your home away from home located in beautiful Waves! Come appreciate everything an Outer Banks vacation has to offer with this 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home, complete with everything you need for quality time with your loved ones. After a day at the beach, rest your laurels in the hot tub on the top deck while listening to the waves crash. Enjoy the fantastic ocean views on the furnished sundeck while catching some evening rays, or curl up with a good book while watching the sunset over the sound. With a fully equipped kitchen, complete with a breakfast bar and wet bar, entertain family and friends with a home-cooked meal and games in the spacious, tastefully decorated great room, or maybe you'd prefer a chill cookout on the grill and eating at the outdoor tables—choices abound!

Please enjoy amenities including 3 TVs, 2 DVD players, high-speed internet, cable, and a stereo/CD player. Join us here at Sunjammer… where old memories are reclaimed and news ones ingrained.

THINGS TO KNOW
Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility, located at the Avon office address: 41156 Hwy 12, Avon, NC 27915. The pool is generally open from May 24 to September 8, from 10 AM to 6 PM. Please note that the operation of community pools is subject to the discretion of the state inspector, management, and/or the HOA. As a result, the availability schedule may change without prior notice.

*Oceanfront homes are subject to beach nourishment projects scheduled by individual towns. Ask us about any planned beach nourishment in our area.*

The perfect beach house for a quiet getaway! The house was very clean and comfortable, and included more amenities than expected. We were not provided the check-in code before we arrived and had to call the after-hours number, but they were very responsive and we were able to access the property within a few minutes.We highly recommend this property and will definitely stay here again.

This house served the purpose of giving us somewhere to eat and sleep. The house was not very well cleaned and we had to contact the host about the condition of the house once we arrived and they came back out. We were constantly killing bugs, like roaches and spiders. We killed a couple spiders in the beds. The bedrooms and mattresses could definitely stand to be updated. The mattress were worn out and could feel the springs while laying on them and they squeaked when trying to roll over on them. The air conditioning on the second floor with the bedrooms seemed to not be working properly and we contacted the host who sent someone out who told us it was, but we all still had to end up sleeping with additional fans the rest of the trip do to it being hot and stuffy in the rooms. We had a baby this trip and had to move him upstairs in the middle of the night due to how hot he got while sleeping. We will be back to the outer banks, but not back to this house.

Our family of 4 had a great time. Plenty of space, good kitchen stocked with the tools we needed, and some good pots and pans. Charcoal grill outside, and hot tub was solid. House was clean and had some puzzles and games. Can’t beat the location - beachfront and close to market, restaurant and ice cream.

Great house and location.

Had a great time at Sunjammer. That hot tub was big and very private. The upstairs is very spacious. It is a great location right on the dunes. Unfortunately due to a recent storm they were very steep, but I assume they will eventually return to normal.

End of summer vacation

Great little house in a quiet little neighborhood on the beach. We ate in most of the trip and it seems like a small thing but having quality cookware was a welcome surprise! Our last trip to OBX was almost 20yrs ago. It was a great trip being reminded of memories from when our kids were young.

Sunjammer!!!...Home away from home.

Sunjammer in Waves, NC provided the perfect backdrop for our family beach vacation, Summer 2025. The house was spotless, spacious and eclectically decorated, with every amenity we could have hoped for. The kitchen was equipped, allowing for easy meal preparation, and the 2nd deck, just outside the great room provided gorgeous views while enjoying much desired hot tub time. We loved the close proximity to the beach, making those sunrise walks effortless. The kids especially enjoyed the calmness and warmth of the beach, providing hours of entertainment. From comfortable beds to ample seating, Sunjammer felt like a true home away from home and we can't wait to return next year!
