New in our program, this home has many great reviews from past guests.

Who can deny it? You've picked the right location (oceanfront) and the right house, Poetry in Motion. Now all you have to do is relax. There is something about the connection to nature that is both exhilarating and relaxing. Poetry in Motion is within walking distance from the community outdoor pool, tennis court, fishing pier, and beach.

The house features two decks to enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail. Allow the smell of the ocean and the taste of the salt to hypnotize you. The kitchen features granite countertops and stainless steel appliances throughout. Peruse a collection of books, games, and puzzles, or play a friendly game of foosball or basketball. Enjoy the two main suites with private baths. Kid-friendly extras include a high chair and bassinet. Other amenities include beautiful mahogany flooring, free WiFi, a 42-inch TV, foosball, basketball goal, grill, and outdoor shower. Foods taste better, sleep comes easier, and life seems simpler at Poetry in Motion.
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically.

The Club Hatteras Pool is typically open Mid-May to Mid-October, depending on weather. Additional details about this facility will be shared in your check-in email and during the check-in process.

Great house in Avon

This house has great views and is a short walk to the beach. Most of the bedrooms have ocean views and walk out doors to the deck. The large kitchen and dining area was great for having family meals.

Great spot to wake up to the waves !

We loved the location of this house ! We opened the sliding doors to the master bedroom every morning to the sound of waves and the view of the sunrise. The house has multiple levels so be ready to climb and find your perfect spot ! The walk to over the dunes is a quick one and there is a public access with stairs nearby. The house has multiple deck areas that face the ocean. Coffee up there in the morning is perfect ! The Pier is right down the beach and the bike trail/side walk easily accessible. There is a spacious dining area and living room for family games. We had a great time !

Our favorite home on the Outer Banks

We love to stay here off season because the view is so beautiful (the pictures in the listing do not even do it justice at all). We are a family of 8 so this house is nice and big! Since our last stay, they have updated the living room furniture and it's so much more comfy now!

Loved the location and set up of the house!

Loved the location and the set up of the house was very convenient for a large family of adults. Cleanliness of the house was disappointing.

We enjoyed the house. Good location and house layout. Only issue we had was the railing on the top floor deck was broken , this caused some concern due to the fact that we had three small children staying with us.

The oceanfront view is the best and an easy walk out to the beach. Seeing the Avon pier at a distance is nice to people watch.

We loved the location of this home! This is an older home. Some updates are needed in the bathrooms. But overall it was a wonderful vacation.
