Loggerhead Cay 264 is located on Sanibel Island’s peaceful East End, where getting around is part of the fun. Most guests find that a car isn’t always necessary once they arrive — the island is compact, calm, and designed for biking and walking.
Two complimentary bikes are provided for your stay, perfect for exploring Sanibel’s 25+ miles of scenic bike paths, local cafés, and the historic Sanibel Lighthouse just a short ride away.
If you prefer to drive, free on-site parking is available, and most island attractions, shops, and restaurants are within a 5–10 minute drive.
Taxis and ride-share options are limited on the island, but local bike and car rental companies can deliver directly to the condo.

Toll to go onto Sanibel Island via the Sanibel Causeway is $6 for a standard 2-axle vehicle if using a transponder. If you don’t have a transponder (toll-by-plate) it’s $9. SunPass, EzPass and others will work for the $6 rate.

Check in was extremely easy and host, Caihlin was terrific!! Condo is VERY clean and comfortable!! We loved it and would definitely return again! Lots of beach supplies already there and they had all the extras like dish soap, laundry soap, dishwasher stuff so no need to buy all the small supplies at the store. They have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable! 5 out of 5 stars!!

What an AMAZING week!! This was the best place we’ve ever stayed in on Sanibel! The place is immaculate when you walk in. The complex is really close to everything on the east end of the island, yet once you’re there, it’s low key and quiet. Caihlin our host, provided us with local information, ideas on things to do and everything we’d need to get settled in well before we arrived. The condo is comfortable, updated, and well equipped, with plenty of room. We couldn’t have been happier - well maybe if vacation didn’t have to end…‘Looking forward to booking here again, we loved it!
