Experience Black Bear Lodge, an authentic 3-bedroom, 3-bath log cabin mountain retreat in a high alpine environment. Featuring vaulted ceilings, a modern kitchen, stone fireplace, and a private hot tub on a wrap-around deck. Comfortably sleeps 8-10 guests. Perfect for a peaceful escape close to Breckenridge activities.

The space
Welcome to Black Bear Lodge, an authentic log cabin offering a spacious 3-bedroom, 3-bath mountain retreat. High vaulted wooden ceilings, large windows, exposed log walls, and log-built furniture create a unique, rustic charm designed for ultimate comfort and relaxation.

Ground Level:
Convenient entry from the front door or garage.
Bedroom 1: Features a set of bunk beds, a double bed, and a trundle underneath (comfortably sleeps 5).
Full bathroom for guest convenience.

Main Level:
Open-concept living area.
Modern kitchen: Equipped with new appliances, dark wood cabinetry, and granite countertops.
Dining area: Large wooden dining table for gatherings.
Living room: Cozy space warmed by a stone fireplace, with large windows framing natural scenery.
Direct access to the wrap-around deck.
Bedroom 2: Features a comfortable queen bed and rustic decor (comfortably sleeps 2).
Full bathroom.

Top Level:
Private master suite.
Primary Bedroom: Luxurious log-frame king bed (comfortably sleeps 2).
En-suite bathroom: Modern fixtures, stone vessel sink, and a large soaking tub.
Loft area: Additional space for reading, relaxation, or quiet play.

Outdoor Space:
Private wrap-around deck for immersing yourself in serene surroundings.
Bubbling hot tub: A premium amenity perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure.
Gas grill: Stocked with propane for barbecue enjoyment.

Guest access
Guests will have exclusive access to the entire Black Bear Lodge during their stay. This includes:
The private hot tub, which is serviced and ready for your enjoyment.
Snow removal services in winter for your convenience.

Breckenridge is a high alpine environment; expect extreme winter weather conditions.
4WD is strongly recommended when traveling to the mountains, especially in the winter.

Nice mountain home

Beautiful property, easy check-in,toiletries were not provided but we had our own.

Perfect Cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was perfect for our family trip. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy everyone's company. The views from the front were amazing and clear skys to view the stars at night. The bbq and hottub were great and in working order. The house was very clean on arrival but the sheets felt very old and worn which would be my only complaint. One recommendation is 4x4 is mandatory in the winter. Even with a Jeep Wrangler, our tire were slipping on multiple occasions going up and down the mountain. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation. I would definitely recommend!

Breckenridge Christmas Family Vacation

Our family goes on a Christmas Vacation every other year and this year we chose Breckenridge. When looking for a place to stay your cabin stood out above the rest. It is beautiful and added a sense of warmth and "home" to our experience. There were 10 of us staying for 8 days and there was plenty of room for all of us to gather and still have alone space if needed. Add in the view of the mountains from the front (especially from the loft) and the woods in back and we had the perfect Christmas location. The Management company was also fabulous. We called them with a couple of questions, and they were extremely helpful with their recommendations and assistance. I would recommend this rental to anyone and everyone looking for the perfect family/group destination.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property had a nice, quiet location away from the town of Breck. The views from the deck and living room were good. I enjoyed going up the dirt road, but my wife did not! We really loved going on a hike in the woods behind the house. It's great not having anyone behind you while on vacation. Again, it's a quiet place! The only complaint I have is that the place wasn't really clean when we arrived. The carpet had lego pieces in it (aka they didn't vacuum), the blankets were filthy and had hair of some sort (maybe dog?) on it and that shed all over us; very annoyed by that. The kitchen island was not that clean. Still, the general cleanliness was acceptable and fine. There were no smells or scents that we could notice, which is perfect for an allergy sufferer like me! Overall, we would stay here again with adults. The bedroom situation and layout is not ideal for those with toddlers or babies. If you have small kids (ages 5-7, etc), this place is great. If you're coming with other friends who also have toddlers or babies, it may not be the best place. Still, we had a blast.8/10 would recommend and return.

Fun girls weekend

We had an excellent time staying on this property! Such beautiful scenery and exactly as depicted in the listing. Everything was clean and plenty of linens for the 8 of us to shower and go in the hot tub. This was a great experience for all of us.

Onoy complaint is that the home did appera clean but the sheets/towles didnt smell freshly cleaned and the pillows in some rooms had no pillow case and im sure where not washed as the one in my bedroom had someone elses hair on it. The owners or managers did respond to any questions Ibhad very quickly and where very polite. Cute little towns nearby. I would recommend this home to a friend and the only negative experience I had with this home was the cleanliness which I know is not the home owners fault

Perfect Mid-January Stay

We had a beautiful stay. The cabin is a few miles up the road from town, but sitting in the hot tub in peace and quiet with a panoramo of mountains view is well-worth the drive. Plus if you like snow-shoeing or XC skiing this is the absolute best spot in town - almost literally on the Peaks Trail. House is perfect for a good sized group, plenty of beds, big kitchen with plenty of cooking equipment. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Book now before someone else does, you won't be sorry !

We absolutely enjoyed our time at this cabin in the mountains!

The cabin was wonderful and we really enjoyed it all. The kitchen was perfect and we spent a lot of time around the bar playing games and having great conversation as the snow was falling. Would definitely recommend this cabin!
