''Rodanthe by the sea' has amazing ocean views and sound views. Just feet to the ocean to put your toes in. You can walk to the Rodanthe Pier. Pick up shells. And the sunsets are breathtaking. The views is what 'Rodanthe by the sea' is known for!

And lets not forget about my favorite movie 'Nights in Rodanthe' that was shot in Rodanthe starring Diane Lane and Richard Gere.

Wild Horses of the Outer Banks tours is a favorite!

The property was very clean, fully stocked with anything you could need to cook meals and location was great for our family of four. Owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

This condo was simply amazing. It had everything and more that we needed for our trip. The view was spectacular. The communications with the owner quick and responsive the sunrise over the ocean who was breath-taking and the sunset off the front deck on very comfortable chairs was amazing. If you decide you are coming. Everything is really there. The only thing you need to bring is food and your clothes.

Just what my husband and I were looking for; a very relaxing week away. The weather was perfect and beach so nice. People aren't on top of each other and it's peak seaon. Kathy was a joy to work with leading up to our trip. Highly recommend The Outer Banks Brewing Station in Kill Devil Hills! Totally worth the drive from Rodanthe! Will definitely be visiting again.

Beautiful views

This condo is the perfect size for us. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck facing the beach. We hope to stay here again.

beach get away

what I wanted most was a view of the ocean and the deck is great. Looking all day at the waves is wonderful. The property was exactly as advertised. The kitchen is super well stocked. Also, I used the pool and was quite happy with it. The grounds were very quiet. After 10pm not a peep.

Beautiful Beachfront Condo

This condo was adorable; had great balcony that was private with oceanfront view. Steps to beach with boardwalk. Very convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay!

The OBX is splendid in itself but the pleasure of a clean and comfortable living space, a well appointed kitchen and an exquisite porch facing the ocean topped it off.

Talk about salt living...

OMG, love this place, and the host is wonderful! 3rd level condo with great beach view and access. And upper unit gives higher ceilings with great crown woodwork and cove lighting. Rode down to Avon, then Hatteras for day trips. Cute little town. We'll be back!

Surf camp!

We had a great week and ended up meeting some fabulous friends who suggested Reals Surf camp. Amazing experience and both kids (12, 11) just want to go back and surf. We have been down to outer banks every year, first time staying in Rodanthe. Usually go all the way to Hatteras. This was a nice mid location as kids also had friend in Nags Head; unit is very well sourced. I always pack a bunch of food; but prices this year were crazy in groceries store. Unit has washer dryer so just pack minimal clothes and tons of food, laundry supplies, soap, etc There are groceries close by and more in Avon

Perfection

The host , Kathy, was beyond helpful even before we got to the property. She checked in with me and shared some things to see and do while we were there. The condo was beautifully done and had everything you could want in the kitchen. The balcony overlooking the ocean was where we had all our meals. It was a very short walk on the boardwalk to the beach and you could sit out on the Sound side as well to see the sunset. It was the perfect central location to explore the Outer Banks. The bed was comfy and we could hear the waves at night. My husband w joyed the pool While I walked the beach. The Pier is within waking distance on the beach and there’s restaurants just a minute away. We are in love with the Outer Banks, we would 100% go back to stay with Kathy!

Beautiful Rodanthe by the Sea

What an amazing property!! My husband and I fell in love with it the minute we arrived. The ocean views are spectacular...literally just out the back door, with just a minute or two walk to the beach. I spent a great deal of time on the deck just appreciating the view and listening to the waves crash.The condo was beautifully decorated and comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. If you think the pictures are nice, just wait until you see it in person! Access to the property pool was quick and easy! The pool was clean, well-maintained and was a great spot for sunbathing and cooling off. I 1000% recommend this property. It was great for us as a couple. Would be fantastic for 2 couples or a small family. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Fingers crossed, we will be back! -Alicia

Exceeded our expectations!

We absolutely LOVED spending two weeks in this gorgeous condo! First, and most important, the view from the deck--where we ate dinner every night--is spectacular! We watched the waves, saw a glorious sunrise, and even spotted dolphins! Additionally, we saw phenomenal sunsets over the sound just out the front door! The condo is beautifully appointed and nicely furnished/decorated. The pool is warm (though it was generally full of families as it is shared with Hatteras High condos), and of course, the beach is gorgeous! We rented beach equipment with a cart to transport it, and unfortunately, the elevator was out of commission our second week. Fortunately, we were able to leave our equipment on the first floor, and nobody bothered it. The only reason I rated "cleanliness" as "good" rather than "excellent" is that there was quite a bit of sand/hair on the floors, and even one of the showers, so housekeeping needs to increase their efforts (especially given that renters make up their own beds from the bin of freshly laundered sheets/towels). The property owner, Kathy is fabulous--very warm and responsive to any questions immediately. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this condo--it was a TERRIFIC place to stay!!!

The condo was luxurious, extremely clean and very well equipped. The kitchen had any accessory and utensil that you could possibly need. There were also board games, dvd's and books galore. The resort was extremely quiet and relaxed. We never noticed any noise from the adjoining units. The view from the Master bedroom and the deck was phenomenal! The beach and the pool were both very easy to access. Because the weather was less than ideal (extreme wind and undertow) we were able to access the beach area on the sound side which was perfect for the younger children to play. I would highy recommend Rodanthe by the Sea and host Kathy!

Shrimp 🦐 and Relaxation

Perfect location in OBX. We enjoyed day trips in both directions and enjoyed the beach right at the condo too. The Master bedroom was the prettiest room ever! We loved every minute of it.

Delightful Outer Banks Stay

Our stay coincided with Easter weekend & was an ideal location to enjoy a week at the beach. There is a lovely deck with a gorgeous view of the ocean as well as a lovely view of the sound from the well appointed kitchen. My husband enjoyed fishing on the local pier that’s just north of the condo. Unlike previous visits to the area where we stayed in other facilities, the WI-FI/TV connections worked very well & the property manager was most helpful answering questions & making recommendations for enjoyable activities & good restaurants. We highly recommend this facility!

Exceptional Property

Rodanthe by the Sea is the best of many places we have rented anywhere in the world. It is beautifully decorated, with understated elegance. The location is exceptional, with a balcony overlooking the ocean, and a veranda with comfortable chairs to watch the sunsets. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly want. Kathy, the homeowner, even bought us Martini glasses when I enquired whether there were any there. The king sized bed was very comfortable, as were the chairs in the living room. The neighbours were lovely. Kathy answered every text immediately. Great communication! We have absolutely no complaints! No negatives, only positives! We would definitely go back to enjoy another relaxing week at Kathy’s condo.

Great place!

The condo is beautiful, spacious and fully stocked with cookware. We had a wonderful time watching the beach from the balcony, swimming and getting out in the ocean. Highly recommend to stay for the week!
