Rating Details:
The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was clean.
I was more than happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.
Reviewer Comments:
1. My crawling grandbaby's knees, feet and hands,within 30 minutes of being in the condo, were black from the filthy floors. Not only that, but the floors also were covered with sand which we had to clean upon entering. 2. Every room had electrical outlets that didn't work. We had to make a trip the evening we arrived to purchase extension cords to the tune of $50. 3. The living area furniture needs to be replaced. One end of the sofa felt like it had a hole wearing through to the bottom. We put towels over the sofa and chairs to sit on due to the dirty conditions. 4. The dryer wouldn't dry our clothes. My husband cleaned the lint trap and it literally looked like it had never been cleaned. It's in the back of the drum of the dryer and not easily seen. So a note should be placed for future guests to know where it is. It was definitely a fire hazard upon us arriving and attempting to use. 5. The icemaker in the refrigerator didn't work well. There was ice; however, only 3 or 4 pieces would dispense at a time.6. Not to mention having the pool be closed for most of our vacation. Our family has stayed in this building and the Dunes for years. This review is for this condo and building. It’s kind of difficult to suggest to friends and family given our experience. I mean, once you’re there there’s not much you can do. All other places are booked, thus, the reason behind my answer for “would you recommend this property to a friend”.
