This fabulous unit was restyled as a Farmhouse Cottage with a Nod to the Beach. Included in the re-do of this unit is the soft close cabinetry, the subtle, restful colors and the seaside-colored granite countertops throughout! The restyling also offered the opportunity to obtain double sinks in both bathrooms and the same durable flooring in the entire unit. There is No installed Carpet. The coordinated color sofa pulls out to a queen size bed. There is an antique dining set, custom drapes, outdoor furniture and extra furnishings. There are 2 King beds with plush bedding in calming and soothing colors. There is also a full-size bunk bed, each full bed holding up to 300lbs. Oh, and we have our own Bird Bath. High-speed internet access is available within the condo. The pool at the Indies features cascading waterfalls and is heated when necessary to provide swimming year-round! Other amenities include a work-out facility.
Indies 304 features a wonderful view of the gulf from the living room and master suite balconies and underground parking is available with elevator access steps away, so you never have to worry about the inconvenience of inclement weather. Experience breathtaking 360-degree views from the roof-top terrace with lounge chairs and privacy. Enjoy your very own private paradise with awesome views of lighthouses, dolphins, the gulf & the bay! Book now online and get closer to the vacation you've been dreaming of! . Don't forget to tour the historic Fort Morgan just a mile down the road. Tacky Jacks is just across the road for fresh seafood. Book a fishing charter or a sightseeing tour at the marina beside Tacky Jacks. Sassy Bass is just about five miles down the road. For the golf enthusiast, Kiva Dunes is a short drive away.
Parking Space #15 under the building is for you during the stay. One GRC (Guest Registration Certificate) is included in the price quote. If you need a second one you can purchase it from the guard.
$1 from each reservation made in Fort Morgan will be donated to the Historic Fort Morgan!

Nice unit but not clean

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is very nice but it was not cleaned appropriately before arrival, dishes were put away dirty, and the floors were noticeably dirty. We started the vacation sweeping floors and doing dishes. The smoke detector decided to beep at 4 am due to a low battery, the elevator was out almost every day, and the bedrooms do not have overhead lights and half of the lamp switches were broken. The pool was great and kid friendly (especially for toddler). The people with the property was very nice and professional.

Nice condo

Nice condo, 2 blocks off the water but it is a short walk. Nice pool area and locked from the outside and nice that it is not from the inside area. Condo was very clean and designated parking spot was right inside the covered entrance, which was nice. Facility provides carts to pack and unpack vehicle. I was given the wrong door code when I arrived but a quick call rectified it and we were in. This was my first trip to the Fort Morgan area, or Gulf Shores overall and surprised my sister with a long getaway weekend to unplug. I thought it was a bit strange when we left the condo, we had to put the code in the door to lock it and it’s a good thing I checked the handle the first time we left as to my surprise, it opened. I am used to doors locking automatically. Both has their advantages and disadvantages but a heads up would have been nice. Master ceiling fan broke which left the room warm. It would have been nice if a free-standing fan was offered as the ceiling fan couldn't be fixed during our stay which left the room humid and quiet so the tv was left on. Overall, a nice stay and area.

Nice and roomy condo With a great view.

This was definitely one of the best condos we have stayed.It is very nice and roomy with a great view from the third floor balcony facing toward the ocean in the distance. As Of the condo, there is no complaints at all. But just to note it is a little bit out of the way from from town. But otherwise a great place to stay.

Very Laid Back Stay

I do feel like the rental price and associated fees was extremely over-priced. I don't think a 3 night stay in Fort Morgan should be close to $2000. At this price, it forces families to stay less time and make fewer visits per year. As evidence of this, the condo was roughly only half full during the summer. In years past, that was never the case.

There were dirty socks under the bed and a swim suit on the balcony.

The construction was so loud we could have conversations with each other in the same room. The pool was closed No chairs and umbrellas for rent.

Nice but smelly

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Positives - Great location, walking distance to the beach. It's a good drive from Gulf Shores but that's what we wanted. Hardly anyone on the beach. The condo is beautiful. Negatives - When you open the door you are hit with an odor like sour laundry. They have a pine tree car air freshener stuck up in the air vent by the front door which told me it wasn't something new. I contacted them and they sent a lady to spray something all over the condo but it did nothing for the smell. The condo is for up to 6 people. There were exactly 6 towels which were small and very thin. We took a couple of showers a day and struggled with the lack of extra towels. There is one dish cloth and one dish rag in the kitchen. Most VRBO's we have stayed in kept at least salt and pepper in the house but not here, nothing aside from the basic necessities for a kitchen. There were too many codes to keep up with. Code for the front gate, code for the door, code for the pool. I was constantly having to look up codes. Can't be helped I guess but was annoying! The 3rd bedroom has 2 daybeds. We have a tall family and it was a fight to see who was stuck sleeping curled up on the day beds. There are no games, puzzles or books in the condo so bring your own if you would like to play games in the evenings.

I loved the decor of the condo! I truly felt like I was home. The most relaxed Ive been in a long time. Beautiful views! Excellent guest service. We cannot wait to rent this property again. The weekend was a blessing! Thank you!

Awesome condo and great property management

Just got back home and needing supreme motivation to return to normal life. What a great vacation and this condo was fantastic. For some reason, the pictures didn’t do justice. Very beautiful condo. And the location was superb. We normally go in the off season but with work and school schedules the Memorial Day break was the best we could do. Of course it was record heat too but the short walk to the beach was wonderful every morning. Waves were great and even got to swim with the dolphins. Okay, so they were about 50 to 100 yards away but we counted it. After the beach, the pool was a clean and refreshing finish to the day before dinner. The properly is gated so that kept traffic to a minimum even as busy as it was. Mostly young families and retirees. Not the craziness of the public beaches in Gulf Shores. Very friendly security staff who even got us our luggage cart from the parking garage when we arrived. The only issue we ran into was on check-in and they have moved to a door keypad instead of the old key holder lock box. The instructions for check-in didn’t include the new door keypad information. No worries, quickly remedied by a call to the property management. Be advised. None of the doors locked in the bedrooms or bathrooms so if Mommy and Daddy need quiet time, put something heavy against the door ;). All in all, it was the best value of every property we reviewed, a beautiful updated condo with all the amenities. Location great. Tacky Jacks across the street, Sassy Bass, Kiva Grill, Beach Club restaurants, food trucks and others down the road a short distance. Gulf Shores is about a twenty minute drive. Would not hesitate to do it again. We’ve been coming to the Indies for many years and this was my son’s request for his High School graduation present. He was 6 months old on his first trip to Gulf Shores and six years old when we first brought him here. His sister was two. They're both beach babies. And they grew quickly. Be prepared to walk or drive a block or so to reach the sand, although you can see the ocean from the balcony. The pool was fantastic for the kids, and the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Fort Morgan is a great area as long as you don't mind the 20+ minute drive back to Gulf Shores. We will definitely be back!!
