Summer House on Romar Beach Condominiums is conveniently located to shopping, dining, and lots of fun in the sun. Some activities include: charter fishing boats, boat & jet ski rentals, para-sailing, dolphin cruises, sunset sailboat cruises, beautiful back bays for boating, tubing, skiing and fishing, amusement parks, great restaurants with entertainment for all ages, golf, outlet malls, shopping, live concerts at The Wharf Amphitheater, and of course, plenty of powder-white sand.

Policies:
1. Check in is 4pm | Check out is 10am.
2. No Smoking in condo or on balcony.
3. Pets are NOT allowed.
4. Loud parties or gatherings will not be tolerated.
5. Must be at least 25 years old to rent. For groups of Single Adults, all guests in the group must be at least 25 years of age and proof of age will be required before approving the reservation.

Great property!

Loved our stay! The condo was perfect for our family. Beach, indoor and outdoor pools and massive hot tub made for a great week. This is a great place for families!

Location is great! Beach is beautiful!

They are doing maintenance/ remodeling to the exterior of the building, it is very messy and loud. The condo itself is very nice and the owner is great to deal with.

Great location!

Overall stay was great! Property manager was very responsive to small issues that came up. (Ice maker not working) You will want to bring extra paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, and any spices to cook with.

Great location & great condo

The condo was perfect - clean, comfy furniture and beds with a large balcony and a great view. We were a party of 8 - two adult couples and 4 children - and there was plenty of room for all. Great location - quite near Alvin's, SurfStyle, Walmart market, liquor store (moderate walk or very short drive). The only negative thing I can say is that a beach chair/umbrella set-up is NOT included but is available for $35/day. This was our first stay in Orange Beach - we usually stay in Fort Walton Beach and a beach umbrella and 2 chairs has been included with every condo we've stayed in. Other than that minor issue, everything else was perfect and we had a wonderful time.

Summer House 405B

It appears this complex is mostly rental probably run by same mgmt company. Unit was not clean, mold on the ceiling in bathroom, had a broken toilet seat that the mgmt company gave run around to fix. VRBO was called to get involved. Owner had no clue that things were not good at the unit,some doors would not close. The complex sits in a good spot but you will need to bring beach towels toilet paper paper towels dishwasher and washer soaps if you do not want to spend more money at the stores.. this unit had one 8 ounce glass... so you might want to bring plastic glasses and watch the plates, many could not go into the microwave ... could be a nice place if properly managed.. Would love to communicate with owners directly

Hosts became ghosts

Good morning, we enjoyed our stay at Orange Beach. You have a nice piece of property. However, there are many things in the condo that need fixed and or replaced. I don’t want to put this on the review page if I don’t have to because I don’t want to sway other guests. Oh look! I had to because you ignored me. The toaster did not work. Outlets throughout the condo did not work. Towel rods were broken. Toilet seats slid off in master bath. There were many stains on the couches. The rug on the patio was completely disgusting as well as the mat outside the door. The shell wreath was broken. These are all easily fixed. Then having to cancel plans to be with the maintenance people twice along with using personal items to clean up the water in the kitchen was not something we should be accountable for. We are requesting a refund for an amount that covers personal towels, paper towels, and time away that we spent from a rented boat. The water disaster could have affected your neighbors down below causing more damage and money spent from you. The security also stopped us and had us turn in our parking tickets. We found out that these need to be purchased weekly by you but you have guests leave them so you don’t have to. Thank you for understanding.

Excellent property for large family

Stayed 7 people, 2 couples and 3 kids, perfect property. Enjoyed the larger patio and indoor pool. Outdoor pool is not heated but very nice too. Host responded to special request.

Perfect location

Loved the location. The patio was so nice. Kids loved the indoor pool. Close to everything. Kitchen had everything you’d need to cook (minus spices so bring your own) Beds were comfortable.

The condo was as advertised. It was a nice 3 br unit…plenty of room for me & hubby, my mom, & 3 teenage boys. Beach was awesome and easily accessible.

Great location!

My husband, our 3 year old, 18 month old and myself enjoyed our week long stay here! It wasn’t the cleanest but hey you are at the beach there is sand everywhere! The balcony is huge and there are great views. The whole condo was very spacious for our boys to run around and cool off inside and we loved the blackout curtains in the spare bedroom for their nap time! The pool and ocean are literally steps away and made it easy for us to go back and forth. The host was very informative and prompt with check in and out process! The only real negative thing and why I didn’t do a 5 star is the cleanliness could’ve been better. Also a couple mornings we were there we woke up and found 2 loaves of bread chewed open through the plastic that were in the cabinet. (Maybe a mice problem?)

Annual girls trip

We had a great time. The location of this condo is excellent. It is just steps from the beach. It was comfortable and nicely maintained. We did not do any cooking but the kitchen was well stocked with anything that would be needed. The view from the balcony was great as well. Loved this condo. Owner was great and communication above average. Highly recommend.

Everything was great! My only suggestion would be for people staying here to bring a couple extra garbage bags and toilet paper. Otherwise it was a nice place that I would stay at again.

Beautiful Place With Rats

At first glance we were taken aback by the property because of how nice it was, but after staying the night we found that rats had eaten our food and had left droppings around the house! Whenever we contacted the homeowner and management they did little to help us. Overall, we were impressed with the property and would have happily enjoyed the stay if it were not for the rat problem and subsequent mismanagement. It speaks volumes of the homeowner's character when he was unwilling to help the problem and refused to send help when it was needed.

Beautiful view

Our group loves to sit out on a balcony overlooking the water and this condo unit was perfect for that need. The building itself is a little worn but the condo that we rented was in good shape. Most of the amenities we wanted were supplied. We would be fine with renting this property again.

Great place!

The condo is very nicely decorated, clean, and homey. Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub as we had some rain and cold weather during our stay. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Great Spot

Great room with a great view. Unfortunately we came during winter storm Landon, so we could not fully enjoy the balcony and the ocean view from outside. The location was clean and perfect for our needs. I do recommend if you have a larger group that you bring some extra TP.
