Royal Palms #1305 is an interior gulf-front 2 bedroom 2 bath condominium located on the 13th floor overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The unit is approximately 1000 sq ft with views of the gulf from the living room and gulf-side master. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with a washer/dryer. The master bedroom has a king bed with en suite bathroom that features a standalone shower. The guest bedroom has a queen bed and the hall bath features a tub/shower combo. Sleeps 6.

Royal Palms is a 14 story building located 0.9 miles East of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Royal Palms has an outdoor and indoor pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna and small fitness area. 2 car limit. Additional Parking Fee during Music Festival.

STAY AND PLAY
This rental comes with our 'Stay and Play Package', which includes complimentary tickets to the best area activities including golfing, deep sea fishing, dolphin/nature cruise, amusement park, zoo, and movie rentals. Each rental comes with our "Stay and Play package." Some restrictions apply.

*The 'Stay and Play Package' begins on the scheduled date of arrival and is not available on day of departure. Services are non-cumulative and non-transferable. All services are subject to change, subject to availability, and weather permissible. The 'Stay and Play Package' does not apply to monthly rentals.

Great beach condo

Love this property. The location is fantastic being adjacent to the state park and simply taking the elevator to the beach. The grandkids loved it!

Place was dirty, furniture needs updating and queen size bed in 2nd bedroom was very uncomfortable.5 light bulbs were burnt out when we arrived.

Family get away for baseball tournament

The view was amazing. The condo was clean with plenty of room for the three of us. My only negative is it’s time for a total refurbish. The furniture is old and the bathrooms could use updating on the showers. The kitchen could use new counter tops and cabinets. The location is also great.

Master bath shower head needs to be replaced and the furniture in the living room is very outdated and not comfortable. Location was perfect for all the popular hangouts and baseball fields.

Disappointing Below Standard

---1 Star – Disappointing Stay Unfortunately, our experience at this condo was very disappointing. The unit was not well-maintained—there were holes in the blankets, and the guest bedroom didn’t even have a dresser for storing clothes. The vertical blinds in the living room were missing or damaged, offering little to no privacy, and the bright hallway light shined directly into the guest bedroom all night, making it difficult to sleep. Overall, the condition of the condo was substandard and not what we expected based on the listing. We would not stay here again and do not recommend this property unless significant improvements are made.

The view from the balcony was amazing. The chairs and tables on the balcony were rusted and need to be replaced. There was alot of space. Large fridge with ice maker was a plus. A cooking pan was rusted. The master shower head needs to be replaced, it wouldnt stay on the swivel. The furniture was outdated. Needed hangers in the closets. A dresser in the guest bedroom. Needs a key pad instead of a key. The master bed was comfortable.

The furniture needs updating the chairs were wicker type so they weren't really comfortable. The sofa and sofa bed needs replacing. Several of the springs on the sofa bed were missing. The TV in the living/common area you only got streaming services (no live/normal tv) like the bedrooms. But the location of the property and the cleanliness of the condo were really nice. I would stay there again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Could not go barefoot in the condo, your feet would be black. I tried to mop with the one in the unit, it did a mediocre job.The kung bedroom sheets would pop off every time you turned over in bed, leaving you on the plastic matress cover. The bathroom in this bedroom has sliding shower doors with mold, the toilet under rim also was not clean.I Opened the utensil drawer to find the pizza cutter with dried food visible as you opened the drawer. Also found dirty plates. Washed everything we used before and after use.The second bathroom was clean. I cannot comment on the second bedroom since we did not use it.I can deal with worm out and mismatched furniture. But when you and the party before you pay for cleaning, I expect it to be clean.Condo has potential with size of unit, large balcony and location.But the condo needs a deep clean, new sheets and some much needed TLC

Condo is in sub standard condition

I have stayed at the Royal Palms in Gulf Shores for the past 15 plus years and in different units over that time. This condo was in a state of disrepair and very outdated. I never give bad reviews but this one had to be done. Lamps were all rickety and wouldn't stay screwed together for use. Shower head in main bath faced the wall and couldn't be adjusted to a proper use level. Headboard was unattached in second bedroom and banged against the wall all night when you turned over in bed, couldn't be moved or tightened. There were dirty utensils in the kitchen drawers. The balcony furniture was rusted and chairs had holes. The couch was lumpy, the springs were not sufficient. The additional furniture and furnishings frankly looked like the seconds taken from other condos when renovated and/or yard sale finds. There were keys, no key pad, so when we left, we had to leave the unit unlocked and keys on counter. Anyone could have come and taken anything out of the condo and we would have been held responsible. We will NOT stay with this rental company and in this unit again. Way too much was paid for what we received. Very bad experience for our ten day stay.

Great location, terrible cleaning

We love the Royal palms and this condo was nice. However, it was NOT clean whatsoever! There was a half eaten corn dog on the floor when we arrived, sand in the beds under the comforters, dirty dishes in the cabinets, and the floors made other bottom of our feet turn black in minutes with bare feet. Everything felt like it needed a good wiping down. Very dissatisfied in the cleanliness of the condo.
