The Space:

This charming and delightful beachfront cottage offers amazing Gulf of Mexico views and a private boardwalk leading to the white sandy beach! A Sea Of Sand & Stars has an excellent Gulf Beaches location close to Island shops, restaurants, nightlife, and the St. George Island Lighthouse Museum!



The exterior of this property features a private boardwalk, an outdoor shower, and a park-style grill. A covered entryway provides access to the first floor, featuring a main bedroom with a flatscreen TV, a jetted tub, and a private deck overlooking the sea. The second main bedroom with a flatscreen TV is also on this floor. The second floor offers an open plan living/dining/kitchen area with colorful coastal decor and amazing views of the Gulf of Mexico. There is plenty of comfortable seating, a flatscreen TV, and French doors and windows opening to the covered deck. The queen sleeper sofa in the living area provides additional sleeping options for your group. There is plenty of room for your crew at mealtime at the dining table and bar/counter that separates the kitchen from the living area. This galley kitchen is equipped with everything you need for beachside feast preparation! There is a sleeping nook in the upstairs open loft with two beds and a flatscreen TV. Steaming service only- no cable. Beach gear credit is included with this home - book a stay and get your choice of kayaks, paddleboards, beach chairs, and more!

Location Location!

Such a great area of the island for getting to all of our favorite places. This property is in good condition, and we enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Sea of Sand and Stars! Beach front and conveniently located all the restaurants and shopping. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Some of this falls on my for not continuing to follow up, but we were only there for two nights and I didn't want to spend my vacation messaging things that weren't there or broken, etc. The #1 thing would be there were NO door mats and/or rugs at all anywhere in the house. Most importantly the entry/exit points which means alot of sand entered the house, it didn't matter how much washing and rinsing. We put down towels and tried, but bc of this, sandy feet if you didn't wear shoes. Meaning sheets/beds felt dirty sandy bc there is just no way to cut down on sand once it enters. The location, the beach access, etc. was perfection. The house is definitely dated. The kitchen faucet handle broke off (I was able to pop it right back on, but it needs to be replaced). There was no dishwasher detergent (you'd think at lease one starter would be on hand). It feels run by a management company in which no one has ever stayed there to know what anyone would need or would help make the stay better. Lots of potention to be perfect just minor things. That again, I could have spend time commuicating it and getting resolution, but for 2 nights I don't want to be on my phone spending time rectifying it that enjoying my time at the beach. Saw the Turtle Patrol and FSU students inspectin a turtle nest and saw my very first baby turtle in my 44 years. IT was worth every bit of sleeping in sandy sheet :)

Beautiful and convenient

The property was lovely, with plenty of space for us and our dog. The outdoor shower and patios provided easy access to the beach, and the house boasted a beautiful view. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful and relaxing beach

Our beach house stay was exactly what we needed and the house accommodated well- comfortable bed, full kitchen and a great living area to watch shows after a full day of being outdoors. We enjoyed grilling outside and rented beach equipment that was delivered very conveniently.

Not very clean. Mold all around master bathroom tub. Super gross. My kid’s socks were completely black from walking around the house. Location and views were amazing though.

Clean & Comfortable

If you’re looking for updated appliances or newly renovated, this is not the place. However, it is clean and comfortable and has all the necessary amenities right on the water with great views. Great value for the area.

Beautiful place on the beach

The house was beautiful and just steps to the beach. This house has a direct boardwalk out to the beach. It is 3 stories with 2 bedrooms on the 1st, living room and kitchen on the 2nd and extra bedroom on the 3rd. It was very clean and check in was easy. We will definitely be staying here again.

Great location!

Couldn't have asked for a better location - right on the beach and we could walk to dinner several nights. Loved watching the waves while sipping morning coffee on the deck. This unit does not have a gate on the deck stairs so if you have pets or babies/toddlers you will want to bring one or rent one. Would definitely stay here again!

Summer Fun

Loved the house, view was amazing, beds and linens were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, short walk to the lighthouse park, our dog enjoyed it, Blue Parrot was close by, great place to eat. Location was central to everything that you need. The only thing that I would change is the park style grill, it really needs to be a weber or something like that. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for renting out your beautiful home.

I love the location. It’s just you guys. I’ve got to get an exterminator in there. There are German cockroaches and I was a little scared of bringing some home.

Great location

Pros: Location, comfortable beds, tile throughout, well-stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, extra towels Cons: Could be cleaner (mold on shower curtain, dirt in corners of floors, sand in sheets, a few bugs, property needs to be cleaned up, remotes needed batteries, ROKU is nonfunctional, cabinets and fixtures in bath and kitchen need upgraded. No deal breakers but we prefer not to have to clean on arrival.

The good - locationThe bad- the home needed repairs and kitchen was not well stocked (missing kitchen shears )etc. The front door was hard to open and was a safety issue. The big issue was the AC didn’t work the first night and they didn’t come to fix until the next day. Then after a couple days the AC stopped working again. And we were not offered fans and portable ACs until we asked for them. They finally replaced the AC but it was a struggle for us and it interfered with our vacation. I don’t recommend this place.
