Come and enjoy paradise at the incredible Calypso Resort! This spacious condo has plenty of room for a small family vacation or a romantic getaway. Enjoy a beautiful Gulf view from your private balcony or take advantage of all the onsite amenities including multiple pools, tropical bar and direct beach access to the beautiful white sands of Panama City Beach.



Calypso has many fantastic onsite amenities such as a fitness center, two pools, direct beach access and a tropical bar that serves delicious food and beverages. Calypso is also conveniently located just a short walk away from Pier Park, which offers plenty of shopping, restaurants and amusement park rides. Nearby is also GulfWorld, which offers the incredible experience of swimming and interacting with dolphins!



Guests may only use Tower 1 and Tower 2 amenities. There is a $60 parking/amenity fee that is charged for each vehicle up to 2 vehicle limit.

Loved it!

This was perfect for a getaway for two!! We loved having the chairs already in our room. The location was perfect and right down from the outdoor mall. Had the best time here!

Great location!

We absolutely loved the location, the pictures were very accurate. Always got a quick response to any questions we had. The only concern we had was the top lock was broke, other than that we loved it!

Loved the location

Great stay, overlooking a beautiful white sand beach. The location is walking distance to everything you might need. Beautiful 10th floor view from private balcony. We really liked that both the main room and the bedroom had sliding glass doors out to the ocean view deck.

We loved everything about our stay!

This unit is right next to the elevators which was very convenient. Getting down to the beach was a breeze since the walk is so short. We walked to several restaurants and greatly enjoyed the area! The unit was clean and enjoyable! We hope to come back to this exact place in the years to come!

Just what we were looking for!

Wonderful condo, convenient and clean. Condo also has a variety of cookware, utensils, and drinkware. Another plus about the location of this condo is that the windows do not face the street or the walkway so you do not hear any noise.

To busy of a place for me

The condo was nice but it was way to busy of a place for me every turn you made someone was standing in your way. And it was a morning rush to get a seat at the pool too many people not enough pool space.

Honeymoon

Spent a great honeymoon here! The condo was the perfect size and had everything we needed. There were plenty things to do and places to eat within walking distance. We could never tire of the views, and I spent my of my time on the balcony. Our only complaint was confusion as to where to park - we didnā€™t realize everyone parked in the deck across the street & not below the tower in which youā€™re staying. Overall we had a great time and would definitely come back!

Extremely Impressed

The entire rental experience was a breeze. Check in was seamless. We were contacted prior to our stay and while we were there to make sure we were pleased. The place was exceptionally clean and the ocean view was beautiful. They keep the entire property very clean. We were there during a very busy time but the elevators were never an issue. I would definitely recommend this condo!! Thanks for making the experience so easy!

Impressed with my individual condo. Immaculate and clean. Discovered that my particular condo is managed by Vacasa Vacations, instead of the Calypso Condominium. So glad for that! I feel my condo was cleaner and more maintained than a family memberā€™s condo that was maintained by Calypso

Calypso

The property was attractive, convenient to shopping and restaurants. Great view of the gulf. Check out was a nightmare. We could not get a cart to load luggage on due to the enormous amount of people that all had to check out by 10. We had to make many trips back and forth from condo to parking garage to bring luggage by hand in order to be checked out by 10. Very exhausting and inconvenient.

Excellent condo

This beautiful condo is located on the tenth floor right beside the elevator. This was super convenient and we didnā€™t hear any noise from the elevator or other guests during our stay. The condo was very clean and well equipped. The balcony views were beautiful. We did have to use a spoon to open the dryer but this was no big deal. We enjoyed being able to access the balcony from the living room and the bedroom. There is a keurig as well as a regular coffee maker. Conveniently located close to pier park where we could walk and we dined at night! There was beach chairs in the room that we carried on our back to the beach during the day. We will be staying here again in the future! 100/10 recommend.

Just okay

Location and views are unbeatable. However, the cleanliness and condition of the home were not great. Mold everywhere. Dishwasher overflowed with the provided dish washing liquid. Dishwasher is LOUD. Location is right next to elevator (good for us but might not be for everyone else). The dryer handle was broken. My husband had to use something to stick into the hole where the handle was missing to be able to get it open. The rug in living room was disgusting. I didnā€™t even want to let my baby sit on it. The couch was so tiny we couldnā€™t get comfortable on it with just the 3 of us. The bed is STIFF. there was bird poop all over the chairs outside on patio. Would not stay in this specific condo again without major changes. And we paid almost as much for this one as we did for our 3bedroom in September. Not priced accordingly, thatā€™s for sure.

You have better options

There are better options. 1: Itā€™s inside the elevator corridor. You can hear the elevator mechanics through the walls at all hours of the day and night. And if someone is waiting for the elevator, you can hear them as if they were standing in the condo. If you have people or babies who are light sleepers, pick a different unit. 2:The dryer is unusable because there is no handle on the door. This wonā€™t be a problem if you pack enough to wear entirely new outfits every day or donā€™t mind wearing dirty, sandy clothes. There are only four bath towels and two washcloths in the unit. We are on day 4 of reusing and sharing towels. 3: There are no blankets in the unit. Like at all. The bed has three sheets on it, which wasnā€™t great because the weather was in the 50s. I messaged Vacasa and they said itā€™s their policy to not provide bedding or comforters. They said that the top sheet was a fuzzy blanket. I promise you it isnā€™t. It really is a white top sheet that you sometimes find at regular hotels on top of the down comforter. If you get cold easily or want to have a blanket watching tv or sitting on the balcony, make sure you bring your own. And make sure you donā€™t get it dirty because of item 2 on this list. 4:This unit does not have a smart tv. I donā€™t think it listed this as an amenity, but this is a pretty common thing in the rental markets and most probably wouldnā€™t think to look for it on the list. There are 2 TVs in the unit but the cable connection didnā€™t work well, so the TVs are unusable unless you thought to bring an HDMI connector for your laptop. I did contact Vacasa about the dryer so they didnā€™t think I damaged it and to see if housekeeping forgot to leave bedding or blankets. Thatā€™s when the rep told me itā€™s against policy to provide bedding except for three sheets. They were kind enough to give me a $20 credit for the broken dryer. I have a new appreciation for warm blankets and clean underwear so good on you Vacasa for reminding me to appreciate the little things in life.
