The Space:

Mercer Creek Retreat is located in a quiet, wooded neighborhood near Florence and is the perfect spot to set up a home base when you are ready to explore the Central Oregon Coast! This home offers comfortable, updated furnishings, a selection of books and games, and plenty of space to unplug, relax, and enjoy time together. Step out to the expansive deck area for a morning coffee in the fresh air or make your way to the enclosed sunroom when you are ready to spend a little time with a good book in hand. The full kitchen is more than ready to whip up tasty meals, and everyone will love gathering at the accommodating dining table to reminisce about the fun that was had each day. Don't worry about being disconnected on this vacation, as this home has free WiFi as well!



The home is located between Mercer and Sutton Lakes and is five miles from Heceta Beach. Beach access is also just one mile from home base and there is C&M which is a stable two miles away for beach horseback riding! Mercer Lake Resort is less than two miles away and offers swimming, lake access, and boat rentals. The city of Florence is five miles south on Hwy 101 and Old Town is a great place to explore with its charming shops and local restaurants. Heceta Head Lighthouse and the famous Sea Lion Caves are both fun places for the family to visit and are less than eight miles north.

We enjoyed our stay. Quiet neighborhood, well stocked kitchen, and comfortable rooms. The indoor hot tub was enjoyable on our rainy weekend. Checkout at 10 is a little early and makes for a rushed morning. Would recommend and would stay again.

We enjoyed this cozy home. It had all the amenities we needed and plenty of space. We used the two bedrooms with king-sized beds…and our daughter thought it was so fun to have the whole upstairs to herself! Great stay. A bit north of town, but only about 10 minutes…and just 5 min from a grocery store.

Family Beach and Olympic Trials Vacation

Wonderful place to stay and take in the beach during the day and drove over to Eugene at night for the Olympic Trials. This property was perfect for our family!

Fantastic Homebase for exploring!

The house was very spacious with room for everyone to spread out and have quiet time if needed. Quick trip to town for groceries or shopping in Old Town and out to explore the Sea Lion caves, Heceta Head Lighthouse, etc.

Wonderful Rental

Had a great stay. The house was beautiful and cozy with plenty of room for our party of 3-6. We had perfect weather which made for some gorgeous mornings views. Highly recommend, especially if your looking for something near everything Florence has to offer but just a little out of town.

It was very quiet and we saw a variety of wildlife. What was unsafe is the outdoor step which is very deceiving. My husband fell twice. My dil who is pregnant almost fell and I almost fell coming out the door. The hot tub is very difficult to get into for us older folks. The bathroom upstairs has mold around the tub. There are a lot of steps to get into the home. If you have walking issues this is not the home for you. Beds are very hard and my husband and I boy woke up with back aches.

Quiet neighborhood, great location and very comfortable house’ Only minus is it needs better lighting above hot tub. Would definitely recommend!

Oregon Coast hideaway

Nice home in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by beautiful trees. We saw many different birds, including hummingbirds and also saw a deer go through the backyard. Only downside is the beds were very firm and the cleaning seems a bit subpar as our towels and bath mats smelled sour.

Beautiful home!

Beautiful home, very nice and clean. We all loved it and hope to stay again! The only negative were the beds were all super hard and made it hard to sleep. But overall very happy!

Small comforts

We enjoyed the hot tub, the quiet of the location, and the amenities provided in the home. The beds are a bit harder than I am used to but comfortable, the driveway is extremely steep but we were able to park on the flat gravel part, and we thought there was private outdoor space but the deck is in the front so we spent our time indoors. I would recommend this property for others, especially because of how amazing the hot tub set up is, very relaxing.
