OR, get outside and be as active as you like, enjoying nearby white water rafting, hiking on the Bartram or Appalachian Trails, or enjoying all Nantahala Lake has to offer. Enjoy direct access to the Bartram Trail from the cabin, accessing the AT six miles to the northeast. Our kayaks are available for guest use, or Pontoon and other boat rentals are available at the Lake's End Marina. Wildlife viewing is plentiful. There are several rafting outfitters in the area. Raft the Nantahala, Ocoee, Chattooga, French Broad and more nearby. This is a perfect base for the outdoor enthusiast! Adventure awaits in all seasons!!

The Nantahala River is 15 minutes from the cabin and offers championship fly fishing. We’re 19 miles from The Nantahala Outdoor Center and only 12 miles from their whitewater rafting launch site! This is a great location to use as home base while taking day trips all around Western North Carolina.....there are endless options!

Inside, the cabin offers 3 levels of living space, with tasteful rustic decor, and open concept.

The main floor has a well-equipped kitchen, a cozy living room with comfy couches and a stone fireplace, and two-story windows with mountain views right from the living room, a bedroom with two queen beds and a twin bed, and a full bathroom with a bathtub.

The spacious loft area allows beautiful views right from the comfortably king-sized bed, with an additional private bathroom with a shower.

Downstairs, the cabin is equipped with a private entrance, with a bedroom with two double beds, kitchenette, bathroom, sitting area with Smart TV, pool table, and arcade game, making it a perfect cabin for two families travelling together, or for kids and teens to have space to hang-out.

The nearby communities of Murphy, Andrews, Franklin, and Dillsboro offer great shopping opportunities for antiques and original art. Lots of art shows and craft fairs in the nearby mountain communities throughout the spring, summer, and fall.

Surrounded by views of the Nantahala National Forest and the Smokey Mountains, the property is beautiful in all seasons. Vivid fall colors make this an ideal space for a fall-getaway, and the occasional snow in winter changes the landscape into a winter wonderland.

AWD vehicles are not required, but may be preferred in wintery weather. For all other seasons, regular clearance vehicles in a low gear and driving slowly is all that is needed. Sports cars with low clearance not recommended!
