The house location was great and the views superb. However the house is very rundown inside and out. My biggest complaint were the flies/bugs coming out of the bath tub drain. Very creepy. I was surprised that other reviewers didn’t mention the shabbiness of the house. The house manager, Beach Properties, was very good and responsive. They fixed the air conditioning units that weren’t working the day we arrived and explained why the pool was so murky. It had been shocked that morning and needed a day to clear up, which it did.

Nice house, tacky management.

We have stayed at several larger houses across the US and while the house was clean and the listing accurate there were two things that rubbed us the wrong way. First, there was a feeling of stinginess with the supplies. We were given four trash bags, one roll of paper towels, no napkins, four dishwasher pods and three laundry pods. Now we didn’t use all the detergent pods but for almost a week it seems a little stingy considering the price point of the property to parcel out exactly four 13 gallon trash bags and one small roll of paper towels? We have stated in larger homes in LA where we have way more supplies at our disposal. I don’t expect the host to supply us with limitless paper products, but I think there could have been a bit more. Second, we received a call our second day from the management company asking us if we planned to check out early so their housekeeping company could get in any sooner. Again, I understand the need to get in and schedule people efficiently but my husband was getting ready to get on an other call and we were in the middle of our day and the phone call was unexpected and rubbed us the wrong way. Especially considering the house we were staying at didn’t unlock the door until precisely 4pm to check in. So, asking us if WE we going to check out early was fairly tacky. Again, at this price point was not something we had come up against in other rentals. Honestly the property was decent and I don’t have any complaints about the actual house.

Week of Labor Day

Great house for our family of 11. Could see ocean from top floor. More room than we needed, very well stocked kitchen, clean, good pool and patio, two bedrooms exited directly to pool deck, which was convenient for children. The common spaces were great for family interaction. Only problem was, on arrival, the door code didn't work, which was awkward. I was later told that this was a recurrent problem. Our 2yo loved riding the elevator.

Great house

This house was everything we wanted. The view is incredible and even on the rainy days we made the most of it by enjoying everything the house had to offer! Would definitely consider staying here again

Beautiful home, clean pool, on beach

My family enjoyed the property very much. Lots of room. AC perfect. Bikes delivered. Great great week! The area of the island with so much to do. Appreciated help with hot tub when it wouldn’t heat. Very responsive.

Beautiful Lond Weekend on the ocean

Gorgeous property with amazing views on the Atlantic. Direct beach access, fantastic pool and a great outdoor porch for morning yoga and coffee. 5 couples and we all had a great time.

Awesome House

This place is truly beautiful! I gave it four stars because we had issues with the hot tub and internet for the first two days, however, Dana from Beach Properties did a great job getting everything resolved. Thanks Dana! We will definitely rent this property again.

Wonderful

Problems we encountered Oven racks slide out when you open the door Drinks refrigerator was frosted up so could not use. Door code did not work consistently. Otherwise every thing was great . We enjoyed our stay .

Luxurious Beach Home

Brigantine was absolutely lovely ... just a few short steps to the pristine beach. With comfortable beds (each bedroom was generous & had an on suite bath) ... spacious common areas ... with an ample kitchen ... our family of 8 remained friends by week's end. The outdoor living area was perfect. The patio furniture was nicely placed ... comfy. Large tables for outdoor dining on the upstairs patio ... and around the pool made dinner-in pleasing. Once it was too hot for the beach ... we spent the majority of the mid-day lounging in the amazing pool. Thank you VRBO. We look forward to booking Brigantine again in the near future.
