Beachfront Apartment with Private Roof Terrace, BBQ, and Sea views

Two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, Top floor apartment set within a modern two storey Villa, with private Roof Terrace and BBQ, located only 200 meters from Meia Praia beach and beach restaurants, and only a 5 minute drive from the Marina, Palmares golf course and Lagos historic centre. The Villa can be rented as a whole or separate: ground floor with private pool or top floor with private roof terrace. Great for family holidays, golf enthusiasts or joint couple retreat.

Available for long winter lets: November-March.
Minimum stay is usually 7 nights but flexible in between arrivals and departures. Please ask owner for more information.

Our modern two bedroom apartment has magnificent views of Meia Praia beach, one of western Algarve´s largest beaches and voted one of the top 10 best beaches on the Algarve. If preferred not to use a car, you can enjoy a 20 minute walk on the beach towards Lagos, where there are various beach restaurants/cafes along the way. For all the sport enthusiasts, there are various sports available nearby such as windsurfing, kite-surfing, wakeboarding, water-skiing, kayaking, diving, sailing, surfing, golf and tennis, amongst others.
Located in a tranquil residential area, right next to a four star resort, the property is only 5 minute drive from the animated town centre. Nearby, there are several restaurants just walking distance from the house that offer some of the best fish and seafood. You can also enjoy an afternoon coffee or evening drink at one of these beach bars whilst relaxing on one of Algarve´s largest and picturesque beaches.
The historic fishing town of Lagos offers so much to see and explore. It is the perfect place to unwind with its stunning sandy beaches but also a place to discover the rich Portuguese culture. With so much to offer, Lagos is one of the most desired towns on the Algarve´s western coast.
The historic centre of Lagos with its characteristic cobbled streets and its numerous restaurants serving a variety of local specialities including its infamous fish and seafood, are what attracts visitors from all over the world. A rich cultural history, great weather, award winning blue flag beaches, a lively marina and animated town centre, is what makes Lagos one of the most appealing touristic destinations.
We usually recommend hiring a car, only for facilitating in exploring the hidden treasures of the Algarve. But there are other means of travel. Just about 200 meters from the house there is a bus service which takes you to the Lagos Marina and town centre.

Wir waren als Familie über Silvester in Lagos.Die Wohnung entsprach den Bildern.Keine 5 Sterne weil, im Winter ist die Wohnung zu kalt (Heizung nur im Schlafzimmer, Kamin im Wohnzimmer, mussten eine Menge Holz kaufen). Vor dem Haus sind derzeit zwei Großbaustellen. Ein ausschlafen war nur So. möglich.Der Kontakt mit Vermieterin war schnell und hilfreich.

Perfect apartment.....

A beautiful apartment, perfect position. Carolina and Juan were so lovely and helpful, cannot fault them or the apartment, unfortunately we were unlucky to have very noisy ‘neighbours’ in the apartment below us, they seemed to be oblivious other people were in the property or just didn’t care! That is the only reason we haven’t given the property 5 stars.

Well Presented & Exceeding Expectations

This apartment is very well presented and equipped with great views to Meia Praia, easy parking, excellent internet and just a short walk to the beach and an easy short drive to Lagos. All in all an excellent place to enjoy a peaceful holiday but near all the action. We plan to book again.

Lagos Love

We absolutely loved this apartment. It’s situated in a great location, just minutes from the beach and close to several restaurants. Beds were very comfortable and the A/C in the bedroom came in handy for sleeping during those 30 degree days. We rented the top floor and that rooftop terrace was spectacular. Caroline was out of town when we arrived so we were let in by her father-in-law who spoke very little English so we didn’t really get a briefing of the place. But the binder was very detailed and explained how to work some things, like the coffee machine, and Caroline was very quick to respond when I messaged her with any questions. Apartment was very clean, nicely decorated. Kitchen is a bit small and hard for 2 people to be in there at the same time if food prepping due to limited counter space. Could be stocked with sharper knives, or even a steel to allow for sharpening. We bought French bread and it took us forever to cut it. LOL Could also use a better variety of pillows as most were super squishy. Both squishy and firm options would be great so people can mix and match but that’s just a preference. We wanted to dine in a couple of nights so took advantage of the bbq on the terrace. That’s about it. We would definitely stay here again. It would be a great option for 2 families traveling together. One could stay in the bottom apartment and one at the top. Each would have their own privacy when needed but both could take advantage of the pool and rooftop patio. Thanks for opening your home Caroline. It was a very memorable way to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary! Linda and Brendan

Eine tolle Wohnung mit einem traumhaften Blick

Wir haben zwei Wochen in dieser gemütlichen und schönen Wohnung im Juli verbracht und haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt. Besonders gut hat uns der Ausblick vom Balkon und von der Dachterrasse gefallen. Die Vermieterin war auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar bei Fragen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Obrigada! Familie Graffenberger

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

Beginnend mit der Kommunikation, der Anreise und des gesamten Aufenthaltes in dieser wunderschönen Wohnung klappte alles perfekt. Carolina war eine sehr gute Gastgeberin und die Wohnung war mit allem ausgestattet was nötig war. Einzig das regnerische Wetter im April machte uns einen Strich durch die Rechnung..... Wir kommen gerne zu einer anderen Jahreszeit wieder. Der endlose Strand nur wenige Minuten entfernt war phantastisch für unsere Strandspaziergänge wenn es einmal nicht wie aus Kübeln regnete.... Das Restaurant Viviendo dass sich nur 100 m entfernt befindet bot uns dann wenigstens eine kulinarische Entschädigung für diese häufigen Regentage an. Die wunderschöne Wohnung mit dem heimeligen Ambiente können wir voll weiter empfehlen.

Wunderschöne Wohnung in toller Lage mit atemberaubenden Ausblick - zum wohlfühlen!

Eine wunderschöne Wohnung in der wir uns rundum wohl gefühlt haben. Die Fotos versprechen wirklich nicht zu viel. Von der Dachterrasse hat man einen super tollen Blick von Lagos bis Alvor. Mit Tisch, Stühlen, Grill, Waschbecken und der Lounge-Ecke super eingerichtet. Auch von dem tollen Balkon hat man eine direkte Sicht auf das Meer an der Meia Praia bis hin zu Alvor. Liebevoll dekoriert mit Pflanzen und Muscheln fühlt man sich fast wie auf dem eigenen Balkon. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr gut gepflegt und sehr sauber. Man findet hier nicht nur eine gemütliche Einrichtung die keine Wünsche offen lässt, auch die Ausstattung ist bemerkenswert. In der Küche gibt es alles was man im Urlaub braucht. Von allem ist ausreichend da so dass man sich auch gut selbst verpflegen und kochen kann. Die Badezimmer sind toll - geschmackvoll gestaltet und sehr großzügig. Hier findet man auch endlich mal genug Abstellfläche für die ganzen Badutensilien. Die Schlafzimmer bieten beide einen herrlichen Meerblick; eins mit direktem Zugang zum Balkon und das andere mit einem herrlich großen Fenster. Die Betten waren genauso Klasse wie der Rest der Wohnung. Total bequeme Matratzen, ein kuscheliges Oberbett und schöne Bettwäsche. Die Vermieter tun wirklich alles um die Wohnung gemütlich, praktisch, ordentlich und voll ausgestattet zu vermieten. Zudem waren sie für uns immer erreichbar und jede unserer Fragen wurden direkt beantwortet. Auch das hat zu unserem perfekten Urlaub beigetragen. Wenn alle Vermieter mit so viel Herzblut ihre Wohnungen einrichten und pflegen würden... Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und freuen uns schon jetzt darauf. Everything was perfect

Loved everything about it. The house is well stocked, comfy king size beds great location with good restraunts within walking distance. Bus stop,train stop all right there. Can't wait to come back and Carolina is a great host.

Le paradis!

Quel endroit superbe! Cette propriété est idéalement située c'est ce qui en fait son attrait principal. La plage de Meia Praia est à 2 minutes à pied, merveilleuse plage pour prendre des marches quotidiennes. Nous partions chaque matin vers Lagos par la plage (environ 35 minutes). L'endroit est tranquille, sécuritaire. Bien équipé il y a tout ce qu'il faut dans la cuisine pour se préparer de bons petits repas.. Il y a un barbecue, un balcon magnifique, c'est très bien entretenu et Carolina est une hôte disponible et à l'écoute de vos besoins. Je recommande sans hésitation.

Beautiful property with great views!

We loved the location. The views are wonderful. Carolina was an excellent source of information. Our only issue was that the place was without the basics. We purchased salt and pepper, dish soap, laundry soap, hand soap, toilet paper, sugar......etc. We are VRBO owners in Boulder, CO and we make sure the basics are well stocked.

Beautiful apartment, extremely helpful owner!

The apartment was in a great location! The view was stunning! Well equipped with everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. My friends and I loved it and would definitely stay there again. Although you could walk to town, I would recommend a car. Getting around was easy with a car. Carolina was quick to respond to any questions we had before and during our stay! Thanks we had a wonderful vacation! Highly recommend!!!! ( we stayed in the second floor apartment)

Beautiful apartment and helpful owner

My friends and I stayed in the second-floor apartment for a week. It was absolutely marvelous, the views were stunning and the location was excellent. The apartment was well-equipped, clean and comfortable! Carolina was a wonderful host and answered any of our questions in a very timely manner. She even came to find us when we got lost on our way to the apartment. We would definitely stay here again. We had a fantastic vacation, thanks so much for sharing your home with us!

CAN'T WAIT TO RETURN

My wife and I spent two memorable weeks at this terrific apartment the last two weeks in January while our friends occupied the lower apartment. As noted unanimously by others, both apartments are very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. The lower floor has an attractive pool although it was a bit cool for soaking in January. However, we spent many comfortable, sunny afternoons and early evenings on the roof enjoying tapas and wine with a fabulous view of Meia Praia and the sea. Both apartments have BBQ’s to grill fresh fish, chicken or meats. We were all extremely impressed by a welcoming basket, and how incredibly and thoroughly responsive Carolina was to a long list of questions before we arrived, and how promptly Carolina and John resolved a couple of minor problems after we moved in. She provided an extensive list of places to shop, where to eat (the fresh fish and view from O Camilo are amazing), and what to see in that area of the Algarve. We recommend having a rental car since there is so much to see in the area, e.g. Sagres (don’t miss the fishermen fishing from the high cliffs!!), Silves, Monchique et al., but there is also a local bus that conveniently takes you to the city center. In short, we highly recommend both of these apartments, and they are exactly as described on the excellent website. We have already booked to return, and wish we were going sooner.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

This rental property is perfect for a family or a group of friends to stay together under one roof or separately in a safe and atmospheric apartment. We had the pleasure to rent both top and bottom floor and can stand for both floors being equally beautiful and functional. The main floor has a lovely pool idyllic for post-beach afternoons, wonderful to cool down on hot days, and great for children. The outdoor seating hosts a cozy patio setting that makes any meal ten times more memorable. The second floor has a semi-private veranda, a picturesque view for morning espresso, afternoon drinks and private tanning. Also, the second floor includes an open space rooftop, which we enjoyed dinners al fresco, afternoon sunshine as a change from the beach scene and delicious fresh seafood BBQ over charcoal. We will definitely be back and plan to build many memories in the beautiful Villa Meia Praia!

Our family is Portuguese, however, we have lived abroad for many years. We've been coming to Meia Praia, Lagos for years as it was family tradition to gather up in the summer. We decided to design and build our house on family property which was completed in 2009.

Our family for generations have gone to Meia Praia. We love the versatility of the Algarve and we try to come to Lagos as much as possible. We have been coming to Meia Praia for more than 30 years as there is so much to offer. Great beaches, great restaurants and an animated night life in Lagos town center is what makes us not go anywhere else on vacation.

Location and beach views are key. The house is in a quiet residential area, yet close to town, but most importantly it is walking distance to Meia Praia beach. So fantastic view from the house. There are great beach restaurants along the beach, so if not up to driving to Lagos you can just walk for fresh seafood. It is perfect for who wants a relaxing, yet, diversified holiday.
