Relax by the pool with unbelievable views all around! Spacious interior with a unique Santa Fe decorating touch. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Sitting room with television. Dining area that seats four. In the mood for a walk, run or hike? Then walk across the street to the Fred Wolfe reserve with hiking and biking trails that are some of the best in California. Hungry? Head over to Old Town La Quinta with shopping and eating galore! If you are looking for a relaxing and one of a kind vacation then this beauty is the one for you!

Lovely home and area

We loved our stay here, the location is beautiful and home is spacious and clean. Recommend for a nice quiet getaway!

Very relaxing!

Great place for a getaway! The pool and spa were perfect and the location was ideal - just cross the street and you're in a great area for hiking. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything needed. We'll definitely be back!

Nightmare trip

Where to start… a trip that was planned for 4 days ended up being 3 hrs. We arrived at the property with our 3 kids ready for fun.. first problem, ac unit was on top of the roof, sounded like a helicopter was up there. It was 115 outside and the ac wouldn’t go down passed 81 degrees. Manager said it would once the sun went down, it never did. The pool was abnormally warm(more like bath water), property manager said due to high temps outside that was the result nothing could be done. We travel to Palm Springs every summer never had this issue before with a warm pool. Next problem.. I had just loaded the fridge that looked seemingly new with a ton of food only to find out that the fridge temp was50 degrees I tried to change the thermostat, but it wouldn’t go down. Ice maker; broken so no ice. Called property manager she said someone would come in the morning… food spoils at 50 degrees, the fridge got up to 55. Needless to say we couldn’t stay there . No AC, no Ice or fridge and a warm pool. Drove 2.5 hours to get there and we’re there for 3 hrs just to turn around and be stuck in horrible traffic. Got home after midnight with 3 very upset children. Silver lining: manager refunded our money, but couldn’t refund our time that it took to get out there and back, gas money or our spoiled food. Such a bummer and could’ve been avoided if they took better care of this place.

Oasis in the Desert

Was looking specifically at this area of La Quinta and this property checked all the boxes while booking. We were not disappointed when we arrived, as advertised! Property manager Amanda was extremely easy to get a hold of and easily dealt with any questions we had. We will likely return to this property in the future due to location and ammenities.

just the right amount of rustic meets modern, very cozy

My husband and I had a great time with our 2 dogs. It is quite private and has nice amenities. The service was terrific. No complaints here!

Location was good

This property has a very nice yard and patio, which we enjoyed. The house is large and comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen could benefit from some updating. Internally, there are some steps up and down as you walk around the house which can be somewhat hazardous if one is not paying attention to where they are walking. Amanda, the Property Manager, was very responsive to any concerns and worked to resolve any issues that arose. We liked the fact that the front gate and the carport gate could be locked which provided a sense of security.

Lots and lots of problems

This could be a really nice property if the owners decided to invest some money to fix it up. The location is good; it's a nice corner lot directly across the street from the mountains and walking/biking paths. From day one of our stay there were numerous problems, the heating system to the home failed, in December the temps here drop into the low 40's, without heat a house this size is to say the least uncomfortable. The property manager dropped off 3 space heater, but they did not do the job, so for the entire 5 day stay nobody was comfortable during the evenings. The power to the home also went off a few times, the property management team responded promptly but it was just another inconvenience we had to endure. I paid extra to have the pool heated for my Grand kids, unfortunately the pool heater and spa heater also didn't work, so no heated pool or spa during the stay. The bathrooms had moldy areas, the exterior sound system didn't work, and there were bugs in the home, the property management people send someone to spray the inside of the home after we complained. My take on this place is that they rent it out for a premium price, if everything was as you would expect, I think it would be fair, however with so many problems this property doesn't measure up. The property management people did refund me the cost of heating the pool and one days rent in an effort to appease me. I appreciate the effort, but felt 2 days refund would of been more in line with the miscues and problems experienced. My suggest is you keep looking for another property and pass on this one.

Charming Home with Great Mountain Views!

We enjoyed our stay over Memorial day weekend. The house was well stocked and the property manager was very attentive and always available if needed. The house is rustic and worked well for a family of 6. The kids loved the POOL and the huge outdoor area. The view of the mountains at sunset was my favorite. Overall, great home for the price!

Great Gate Away!

Great Gate Away! I didn’t have to go too far to find this place, I had the perfect person booked this astonishing home for my stay. Located near the mountains and with an awesome view, this home welcomes you the second you enter the property. Although, I arrived while it was raining, the following few days were incredibly splendid. The home was absolutely lovely, clean, and had a lot of extras that you could only identify once you tour the home. The pool and the Jacuzzi were sparkling and have plenty of sitting areas. If you plan to book this place you will need to spend plenty of time near the pool. The inside of the house was so impeccable that when we left we felt the need to leave it exactly as when we enter the property. This home is definitely big enough for family of four or six. You will have a very comfortable stay. As for being dated, well, this is the look of the home and that is what makes it charming and unique. We live in north La Quinta a few miles from this home and when my wife and two young sons saw this home, they decided to stay here. I will be staying here at this home at least three more times this year. I just hope that whoever rents this home keeps it and treats it as their own and leave as clean as we did. Thank you for keeping this “home” as nice as it is.

Fantastic yard and pool

This is an ideal location to get away in La Quinta's upper cove. The private yard with pool, spa, dining table, grill, music and lounge furniture is very hard to beat. We spent as much time as possible outside. The house feels a bit dated and bed space is very limited with a somewhat uncomfortable double bed in the master, a smaller double in the second bedroom and a couple couches. The entertainment room was nicely equipped and very comfortable. Overall a very fun stay and would come back.
