Best Location in Cherry Grove

Each level has a kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, porch and deck. The Upper level has one bathroom while the Lower has two. There is also a laundry room with washing machine and natural gas dryer and an outdoor patio with natural gas fireplace . Two enclosed outdoor showers with hot and cold water. The kitchens are fully equipped and the living rooms have flat screen TVs with streaming. The Upper level has two bedrooms furnished with a Queen and Single bed. The Lower Level has two bedrooms, one with two Queen beds and the Master bedroom has a Queen bed and private bathroom. Each level is ideal for 6 adults and children.

Best Location in Cherry Grove
We are about 100 yards from the beach and across the street from Boulineaus IGA grocery/variety store. One block from Sea Mountain highway which is the main street with shops and eateries. Snooky's on the Beach is a short walk as well as several other restaurants and stores. Boulineaus has a restaurant, salad bar, bakery and you name it.

Year-around Discounts and Off-Season Rates, Prices are designed for a group or 8. Couples or small groups should inquire about reduced rates and a lower cleaning-laundry fee.

General Policy
From March through September we rent the WHOLE HOUSE and GROUNDS to only one group. It is ideal for close friends and relations that may or may not prefer privacy. The house is a duplex with separate entries to the upper and lower levels. Off-Season we offer each level separately for long-term renters.

The location was fantastic!! House was clean! The only thing we didn’t know about is the upstairs was a separate entrance on the side. But after re-reading the description of the home, we noticed that it was listed on the bottom of the listing. Overall! It was great! We will def rent this home again!!

Great time!

Our group came here to celebrate our graduation from college and had a great time! The house was perfect for our large group and we greatly enjoyed our visit.The location was perfect being less than a block from the beach and right next to the store. The owner was so easy to get in contact with and was very accommodating. I would recommend this house to anyone and everyone!

Great place to stay on Cherry Grove

Many updates have been made to this classic beach house. It worked very well for our extended family. The outdoor showers are perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach. The house is very convienient to the beach, local shopping and restaurants. The air conditioning is fantastic. A wonderful relief after a hot day on the beach.

Location Location Location Spot On😊

Great location! The IGA had hot meals all day long. That was nice. We rented a golf cart and road around the area and it was beautiful! My dad and my mother-n-law stayed downstairs and my 14 year old son and my wife and I stayed upstairs. The beds just need new mattresses. Other than that, perfect get away!

Quaint but Amazing

This place at first glance seems a bit small but is really nice. As a group, we bonded due to the closeness of it and you can't beat the walk to the beach. A couple of small issues here and there but our Host was very accommodating and responded to our inquiries in a timely manner. The house had almost everything we needed and with the grocery store nearby, we had everything we needed. It's a bit of a drive to the main parts of Myrtle but having the beach all to yourself is something that shines.

Super spacious and cozy. Great for Large groups

The house is in great location. In walking distance from the beach and food. The amenities need a slight upgrade. (i say this because there was HBO on the cable and March Madness game was extremely difficult to find. Also we could not get the Wifi to work). Regardless though this house brings everyone together and is great.

Cozy cabin, half block to beach

I stayed in the upstairs unit for a month. There was a great 3 season porch with huge farm table and plenty of seating, 2 bedrooms, each with 2 beds, and a nice living room (plus kitchen and bath). The floors were painted wood floors, making it easy to keep clean. Walls were wood panel to give that cozy cabin feel. Great neighborhood feel. Right across the street from groceries. Beach is half a block away and is wide and great for a stroll. Definitely down home feel (not high luxury), but it's what the dogs and I were looking for. And, great deal for the money! I'm keeping this on my list and will return.

As Advertised

The house was exactly as advertised. Not a super glamorous house, however if you just need a solid house it's pretty nice. The pans and pots were a little dirty but after a little washing they were fine. There were a lot of bugs everywhere like cockroaches, bed bugs, and other various insects. The upstairs door doesn't lock. Again nothing amazing but I have no complaints due to the distance from beach and other amenities.

Great family gathering in a place that needs many improvements

The kitchen was poorly equipped with disgusting pans and no kitchen towels. There were 2 lamps which did not work at all, leaving us in the dark except for glaring ceiling lights. Very uncomfortable furniture - a futon that was in a semi-reclining position and we could not change it for fear of breaking it. We had to put our own sheets on all the beds and the beds were very noisy and creaky. The outlets were either not working or antique - no 3 prong plugs could be used in many outlets. Non- functional door handles and latches. No plug for the bathtub - we stuffed a plastic grocery bag in it to give the little ones a bath. The bathtub was very high - dangerous for elderly and children. We enjoyed being with our whole family but these accomododations did not add to our joy.

Worst Vacation Ever!

It really doesn't deserve a star at all but had to give it one in order to post. My family and I use HomeAway or VRBO a few times a year and have always been pleased. This time...not so much! The house was in horrible condition. It was nasty! I spent two days of my vacation cleaning in order for my family to have a place to stay. I sent them off to the beach in the morning so I could clean. The smell was horrible!!! The cushions in the chairs were disgusting and were removed to the porch and we bought new cushions just so we could sit. I also covered the other furniture with extra sheets because it was so disgusting. This house is totally misrepresented on your website. The pictures had to have been taken years ago. The cockroaches were the size of small mice, no joke! After setting out the roach traps and spraying, we would wake up to 20-30 dead roaches every morning on our floors. The leak under the downstairs kitchen sink was contained with a garbage bag and a pitcher that had not been emptied all season and the water had become stagnant! It smelled to high heaven and made me nauseous just cleaning it up. I purchased two oval buckets with handles to replace the pitcher and garbage bag so that it could be easily emptied. When I told the owner about the leak he said he was going to have that kitchen remodeled at the end of the season and was trying to hold off on repairs. The refrigerator upstairs dumped water onto the floor every time the door was opened and had to be mopped up. The floors were filthy and had not been swept or mopped in weeks. It took a whole box of Swiffer pads and the floors were still not up to standards. The bathroom walls were growing some kind of pinkish mold on them and I was never able to rid the bathroom from some funky smell! The oven was so nasty I would not even consider cooking a meal there until I cleaned it. The tv would not work and the owner gave me his cable bill info and asked me to call and get it fixed, which I did. I really liked Al and Fran, the owners and hate to ruin their rental property with a bad review but it really needs to be fixed. It is really disgusting. Oh, I forgot to mention the five feral cats that were living there when we arrived! I could go on and on but this is almost as exhausting as this vacation was!

all of my party came in good health and left with flu like symptoms, downstairs smelled and has mold everywhere, no door seals made for very cold nights

Overall good, problem due to previous guest.

Property was good for a group. Close to the beach. A couple small issues, upstairs door did not lock though it was not a problem for us. The previous guests left a horrible smell in the upstairs though it began to fade over the week. Obviously not something the manager can control but it was there. Good place to stay, just don’t expect perfection. Manager was very kind.

Perfect for us

Just rustic enough we didn't worry much about kids thumping feet. Odd set up with two kitchens one per floor, but our teens enjoyed having their own space while littles and adults stayed upstairs. The grocery store across the street was easy to walk to as was the souvenir shop and the beach just past. We all had a great time and hope to come back next year.

House is just as described, spacious, and close to the beach

We had a great stay, house is very big, with 2 kitchens, which includes 2 fridges, and ovenes, we had enough place for all our food, for our group of 10, And its right off the beach. And it is very affordable for what you get. The host was very nice, and helpful

Al was an A+ person to deal with!

Property just as described, unfortunately hurricane isisas came through on Monday, we decided to vacation on Tuesday-friday, our original home was not going to be available for Sat (since we changed dates) so Al put us in a larger home that even had a pool! Will definitely vacation with him next year! Thanks Al for making my dream vacation a reality!

Great trip with friends

The property was precisely as described. It isn’t luxurious but it is absolutely perfect for a big gathering! The convenience to stores, town, and the beach were wonderful. Safety was great. Owners easy to work with!

Private setting...although moments away from every exciting attraction of Myrtle Beach. Don't bother packing all your bedding....we have it all set for you. Each bathroom has two towels and two washcloths.... if you need to do any laundry, there is also a washer and dryer available. Full kitchens so you can cook a nice family dinner or grill outside for family and friends. You can catch up on your favorite television show, social media or work (although work is discouraged) on vacation 😂) with cable and wifi provided. You also have a personal host and hostess that are available at your request via text or phone call for any questions or issues or needs you may have to make your stay for comfortable.
