This open studio apartment is the perfect stay. Privacy, beach proximity, pet friendly and CLEAN. Lots to do and see in Chatham and this rental has beach chairs, kayaks, private boat tours and more. With over a 1000 sq ft of open living space, nautically decorated you won't want to leave the comforts. Complete with two queen beds, desk, kitchenette, full bath, large closet, internet, cable, A/C and more, this large inviting space is perfect for a get way on the cape. The unit has a small refrigerator in it and a full fridge on the first floor for extra needs. Guests have access to fire pit and grill to take to the beach. Come visit and make this a memorable vacation.

This special place was perfect. Our Host Betsy was more than wonderful. The rental is clean, comfortable, close to everything yet tucked away. The yard is beautiful and the fire pit area is great for relaxing.

We were visiting for a wedding and had a great weekend with our dog. The location is a close walk to a nearby beach and the beds are very comfortable. The host was very helpful and responded in a very timely manner. We definitely recommend staying here.

Great Stay and Location

Hosted my birthday here with four girlfriends. We had the best time and the host was fantastic. Fresh cut flowers waiting for us on arrival. Definitely recommend for your visit to cape cod

We had a wonderful stay! The property is beautiful, and Betsy was incredibly responsive and helpful, even providing extra information we requested. As a thoughtful touch, she left a chilled bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival. Highly recommend!

Great for a long weekend!

My family of 4 stayed for two nights and thought it was absolutely perfect for a weekend stay. We got lucky with amazing weather and having lots of 4th of July festivities close by. Betsy was a fabulous host. We’d love to come for another weekend in the Fall!

Perfect cape weekend

The place was a great home base for a cape weekend. We were easily able to go to the beach, find great seafood and take hiking trails with our dog. Betsy was friendly and very easy to work with. Would recommend!

Pleasant experience

Betsy was thoroughly accommodating. We would not hesitate to rent with her again. The property was comfortable and clean and the neighbors were pleasant to help out with a little car trouble when it occurred--very valuable!

Not impressed - would not recommend

There was a musty smell in the apartment. The comforter and sheets need to be updated. Even though RBVO said I was paid up, the owner asked me for more money after I checked in. Both the owner and VRBO messed up the payments. Would not recommend this home or renting anything from VRBO

Great lodging, location, and owner

My wife, daughter, and I journeyed to the Cape for some R & R after a hectic 4 days exploring Boston. This efficiency apartment is the entire upper floor of the owner's detached garage, so it is secluded and quiet, yet secure with convenient parking on the adjacent driveway off of a private drive. Betsy was easy to contact, helpful, and very hospitable. She allowed us use of her beach chairs and also her family's kayaks that are kept at a scenic and tranquil nearby pond. The unit was also equipped with tourist information, games and CD's. The location was perfect, with just a short drive to town, several Cape beaches, and about 30 minutes to Provincetown at the tip of the Cape. Chatham has everything you need with nice restaurants and shopping and even a free band concert on summer Friday evenings in the middle of town. The apartment itself was exceptionally clean, well appointed, and nicely decorated in a nautical motif. The beds and other furniture were very comfortable. We enjoyed sleeping with the many large windows open due to the Cape's cool, pleasant nights. The kitchen area does not include an oven/range (but does have a microwave) and has only a mini fridge, but that was fine for us as we ate all of our meals out except for simple breakfasts in the unit. We were offered the use of a full size refrigerator/freezer at the bottom of the steps in the garage but didn't need it. We highly recommend this unit and it will be our preferred lodging if we ever return to the Cape!

A bit of paradise

If you are looking for a clean, beautifully designed big loft, this is the place. Four of us were very comfortable, and Betsy was the consummate host. WIlling to help in every way and gave us all the comforts of home. Area is very relaxing, peaceful and quiet, but 5 minutes to restaurants and beaches and downtown.

Great location for a short trip to Chatham

We had a lovely few days in Chatham and the Cape and this property was perfect for our needs. Betsy was a great host and gave us some wonderful ideas for activities and dinners. The pictures accurately show the space. It is one large room and my family of four did not feel cramped. I was happy there was not a full kitchen so that we truly enjoyed all the great dining in Chatham and beyond.

So easy and comfortable

Thanks so much Betsy for your hospitality. It was a perfect place to get away. Loved the location, the space and the quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed taking our dog out on the pond for a kayak and Jack-knife beach was an awesome way to start each day.

Wonderful peaceful spot

We had a wonderful time. The loft is very quiet, surrounded by woods. The host could not have been more helpful in meeting our needs and giving us guidance.

Had a good stay out in the cape. Perfect little get away. The property was very close to multiple beaches and downtown Chatham. Unfortunately the A/C was out of commission during our stay, which made one night a little uncomfortable. Overall we had a great time and would definitely stay again.

My wife and I, plus our very particular poodle, had an absolutely splendid stay in Betsy's charming, nautical-themed rental. It's a huge (1000 sf) loft-like space on full floor above a separated garage—windows on four sides so the breezes criss-cross throughout the space. Sleeping w windows open is a must for summer nights. And the rental is superbly equipped. Extras include: • bikes and helmets • beach toys • kayaks • use of an outdoor shower • an amazing stock of goods for tenant use—coffee, drinks, snacks, etc—(to be replaced before leaving) FYI, I know this territory. During 1990s I owned a small rental house in Chatham and always got return renters—but it was a bare-bones rental. I supplied NONE of the amenities listed above. So, in summation, six (6) stars for Betsy. You will be delighted if you visit.

Privacy with steps.

Good location with short drive to beaches and downtown. Unit is over a garage with about a dozen steps. Sign at bottom asks you to "remove shoes before entering". Since I am already paying a cleaning fee, I chose to ignore it. Never met the hostess.

Charming Chatham

The house was perfect for our trip. When we visit the Cape Cod area we like to stay busy with outings during the day, and this place was perfect for us to spend our nights. It was also conveniently located to all the sites to see.

Chatham escape

Nestled in a prime location in Chatham, Betsy’s home has access all of the town’s charm. The well appointed carriage house where we stayed with our cats (who loved it) was a pleasure with its comforts and classic Cape style. Betsy offers all you’ll need to make your stay cozy and fun from beach chairs, kayaks and her invaluable suggestions on where to go around town. This trip was our first experience staying in Chatham as my spouse and I extended our trip from where we usually spend time on the Outer Cape off-season. We made an excellent choice and look forward to returning!
