Amazing place

Awesome place for all 9 of us. Smooth check-in and kitchen was full of pots and pans and utensils for cooking! Very quiet and would stay there again.

Enjoyable stay

I really liked this vacation home really nice area. With plenty to do in the area the beach is at walking distance if you are an active person. Good areas to eat and shop. Only possible improvement needs: carpets are pretty stained dirty need a deep cleaning or replacement, kitchen appliances are a bit dated but that being petty overall I enjoyed my stay.

We Had A Great Time

My overall experience with renting this property was good. The downstairs unit was a problem for my mom because she has bad knees and the stairs were difficult. I would rent here again just not a downstairs unit.

Good place, but with room for improvement

The location is good and the space has potential, but there are some important details that should be addressed to improve the overall experience.First, you can clearly hear people walking on the second floor, which makes it difficult to sleep at night. It would be ideal for the bedrooms to have proper curtains to block out the light and provide more privacy. The main door doesn’t have any kind of curtain or covering, which you can see in the photo, and that affects both privacy and comfort. It would also be good to improve the security of the main door, as we didn’t feel completely safe.In terms of amenities, it would be great to include containers with coffee, oil, salt, and sugar—even just small amounts. Many guests travel from far away, and having these basics available makes a big difference when settling in.With a few adjustments, this place could offer a much better experience.

Overall Very spacious. Definitely needs newer bedding and blinds in master bedroom & pretty bad lighting. Also bedroom with bunk beds is very HOT. Couches weren’t clean. Would recommend a newer washer machine that one makes very loud sound. There is definitely not enough parking. & lastly found a roach our last night in kitchen..

Spacious Condo We Really Enjoyed

We enjoyed this spacious condo with high ceilings and comfortable beds. Platinum Vacations did a great job answering questions and helping on a few issues. A few things need fixing but I know it's getting harder to keep rental properties in shape and these things didn't have anything to do with our ability to enjoy the condo. The space was great and quiet with a good location. The kitchen was stocked with anything you might need. We have been going to Sandestin for over 30 years and have always loved the property. We have not been in a few years but we were shocked at the crowds on the beach. This has nothing to do with the condo or Platinum Vacations but Sandestin has just got so big without a big enough beach area and they let anyone come in to the beach (not just owners and guests). If you want to sit right before the water, bring your own set up - the Sandestin chairs don't start until back from the water so you will have lots of people between you and the water. If we return to Sandestin in the future, we would rent this condo again.

Very disappointed!!

The furniture needs replacing, carpet needs cleaning/replacing. There was not enough wash clothes to accommodate the number of guest. The lighting in the queen size bedroom was terrible, the out door ceiling fan did not work. The locks need lubrication as it was hard to lock and unlock. The parking was not accommodating as the contract indicated parking for 2 vehicles, but it only allowed for 1 vehicle at the villa I was assigned. Undoubtedly there had been a water leak prior to my arrival as a blower was left in one of rooms with the carpet pulled back in the closet. Bed linen in master bedroom was not cleaned, had to wash it before using it.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Parking was terrible, I was told in my contract that their would be parking for two cars but it only allowed for one. The Villa undoubtely had some water damage as in one of the rooms there was a blower with the carpet in the closet pulled back upon my arrival. The bedding in the master bed room was not cleaned properly and had to be washed prior to use. The ceiling fan on the patio did not work and needs replacing. The doors need lubrication as they were very difficult to lock and unlock. The furniture needs upgrading. The carpet need to be cleaned or replaced.

Family Vacation over 4th of July 2022

This unit is on the bottom floor, so if anyone is staying above you during your stay you can hear them walking or in some cases talking...Unit is not insulated well at all. AC works fantastic in the Kitchen/Living Room and 2 other bedrooms, Master not so much. We had to sleep with the bedroom door open just so we could feel the cool air. ZERO air came through the vent in the Master Bedroom. I did not call to complain, because I received a pre-check email informing us that we were no allowed or it was suggested to not turn the AC below 72 degrees in the unit. The reason being is the AC Unit might Freeze up and then a AC repair person would have to come out and that could take several days. Parking, lets just says that there is 1 spot per unit. This Unit can sleep 9 people. If your party has more than 1 vehicle, best of luck on trying to park. Or hopefully, no is staying in the other condo's connected to this unit...Also the Master Bed needs to be replaced in the worst way... Outside of what I have outlined, the Unit itself was very nice, very clean and you had a nice view of the golf course. Would, I stay at this unit again, only in the off season. Never during the summer months due to noise above and parking issues.

2023 stay at 5370 Pine ridge

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo continues to be quite adequate in size and amenities. New washing machine is a pleasure to have. The vent hood needs replacement or repair as making toast or frying bacon will set off the smoke alarm compensated for by opening the door and tuning the ceiling fan on. Frige is dated as the ice maker has some hang ups such as overfilling which is compensated for by turning it off and on since if left on it spills ice into the lower part of the freezer. Occasionally produce freezes in the main part but this is not consistent. The dryer vent needs to be changed to remove the kinks that slows drying. This long dry time results in additional energy costs for someone and should be an easy inexpensive fix.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rental was in a great location, easy access to main road and to the beach. Pool was close to the rental. It was a cute place, the furniture was pretty outdated and some of the appliances did not work. I would suggest updating the furniture, new comfortable blankets, new pillows (they were very old and uncomfortable), pull out bed for the couch is caving in at the bottom. Blender worked okay but is very old, beater did not work. Plenty of pots, pans and silverware. Washer/dryer worked but again very old. I think if they updated furniture it would give aMore modern look. I would recommend this spot for family vacation for sure. There is no golf cart although some other rentals on same property offer one. The gym is not included it is an additional fee.

Property as amazing clean

Everything was amazing. Only thing we had a problem with is parking there is hardly anywhere to park. I will definitely be booking in the near future..👍👍👍
