**Update-The Family who booked Jan 2026 - Had to cancel bc of a medical procedure- So it just opened. Jan has great weather and one of my favorite times to visit. Most of 2025 is booked way back in 2024.

The Forest View home is remote, yet in the middle of Sedona. It is quiet and secluded, yet in 10 minutes. ( 1/4 mile) you are shopping. You can be hiking in 10 minutes from the home, or you can just sit and look at the red rocks from either the front deck or the rear deck. You can sip your coffee inside and look at the views . There are no bad views from this home.
There are 359 degree views .
Sedona passed an ordinance in 2021 that ALL Short term rentals (STR) have to have a contact person 1 hour from the home at ALL times. we have hired our daughter to be available within an hour if any thing goes array regarding the house. Fireplace , hot tub, internet etc. rest assured any issues that come up hopefully can be resolved inside of an hour if they arise.
The home is booked about 93 % the year with new and repeat travelers.
We stopped pre booking 2 years out but the home normally gets booked 8-12 months in advance during the high session Oct-May. If you are looking at this home as a possibility, drop me a line and I will help you. We only want happy travelers so if our home is not a perfect fit, I will tell you. This home was booked year round in 2014-2018 and during 2019 it was 96% occupied. 2020 has been a very different year - the home ended up being booked year round with only a few days each month open. Cleaning was really hard - Now we have to block off days to make sure people are safe. We block off days before and after people that allows enough time to get the home safe for the next guest.
This vacation home is high up in midtown Sedona below the 'Y' by Schnebly Hill, in an upscale, quiet neighborhood with some of the most spectacular views in Sedona. Check out the reviews and photos.
You will find this space a comfortable and cozy retreat space to get away from it all. People have described staying here as a feeling of being embraced within the space.. Tile floors, gorgeous granite countertops and nice cabinets define the kitchen and dining area while all of these areas have open views to the fabulous vistas. There is a hot tub on patio to view the red rocks glowing at sunset. Gas fireplace in great-room by TV, fabulous views from the king bed, Take that necessary time for yourself!! Before I go into more about the home. I want you all to know that I believe we are one of the few homes that has a High End water filtration system that not only goes though the home but also used in the hot tub. We have hypoallergenic bedding - We care about your health above all. We have hypo allergenic pillows and bed covers that keep any possible dust mites out of the bed.
The RO system is one of the best made - we put this in as a convenience for your stay. No need to buy plastic water bottles.
The water system was added to remove all the impurities out of the water. Sedona does have a medium level of arsenic in the water. We added the system to remove those toxins and give you good clean water for drinking, showers and even the hot tub.

Master bathroom has a steam shower to help remove built up toxins.

Master bedroom with king size bed. Double sinks in master bathroom, and Steam Shower.

Second master bedroom with queen size bed, and in-suite bathroom with tub with shower attachment. and a HDTV.

Small third room has a Queen Murphy Bed. – Small Office wall system.
The third bathroom is a 1/2 Bathroom.


Wall mounted HDTV, DVD/Video/CD player. DVDs/Videos/CDs/Books/Magazines/games all provided.

Complete kitchen with cooking utensils, toaster, blender, a regular and Keurig coffee maker.

Convection oven , Microwave and Dishwasher

Washer/Dryer room.

Sheets and towels provided.

Lounge on the 1500 Sq. feet of decking in the front, side and back area. Pure fresh water hot tub with breathtaking views. ( Does anyone really want there breath taken away?) If not don't look.

Walk outside and within a few minutes you may walk onto one of the fabulous Sedona hiking trails. –Within a 10 minute hike you can get away from it all and not see any other homes.

The upper deck, overlooking magnificent views of Snoopy Rock, Lee's Mountains, Wilson Mountain, Schnebly Hill mountains and the spectacular sparkling stars by night.

Walk down the hill turn left and you are at Hillside shops ( 2/10 mile) , restaurants , or turn right you are in the Tlaquepaque shops (2/10s mile) and the beautiful Los Abrigados resort for dinner.

Other restaurants within walking distance include: Oak Creek Brewery & Grill‎, Javelina Cantina, Murphy’s Irish Pub, the Famous Elote Mexican Cafe, Red Rock BBQ and Sunday brunch at Ken’s Creekside.
A 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk to Uptown Sedona shops, art galleries, more restaurants and activities.

Home rental information- I also have a property manager / groundskeeper on location if needed.

The pictures that are up were mostly taken from inside the home or in the front or back decks. These photos I shot with my camera. I can assure you, even though it seems hard to believe these are accurate, THEY ARE!
I never stop shooting shots from the deck as the mountains always change and give me a different light show.

After booking our home I will send a PDF that outlines the workings of the home, a book of directions if you will. I will also send a PDF that goes over places to go and see in Sedona.
The home PDF is located at the home so you will not have to print it out. You can provide us with a four digit code for the door lock , that will be used during your stay. I will need that when you book the home. Please text it to me.

I purposely created a 2 & 3 payment process - VRBO sends out payment reminders as its coming from me. - they sign my name to the reminders- I hope this is not an inconvenience - If you want to pay the whole fee at wonce contact me and i can change your payment process to one payment.

2025/2026 update:
We have had some same day bookings, VRBO accidental calendar bookings, meaning someone leaves at 10am and another guest group arrive at 3-3:30. Meaning we have only 5 hours to have the home ready.
Ask me if this the case when you book and I'll let you know if it we'll be a quick turn .
I can allow early and late checkouts if it does not hender the cleaning effort .

Now with a property manager located on the 1/2 acre
we can turn the house quickly .
