We are up and running along with Bonita Beach and Ft Myers beach. Our beautiful condo offers relaxation, water views, a beautiful pool, hot tub and world class dining/ FLIPPERS ON THE BAY offers American cuisine and seafood in a gorgeous setting. Plus, just a short distance is Lovers Key State park where you can sit and soak up the sun or swim, kayak and just enjoy the beautiful water floating around. Enjoy your stay in our corner unit over looking the playful water of manatees and dolphins. The unit has 1 Bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa.
One bath with doors to separate rooms for privacy. Full kitchen, counter dining and dine at the table while looking out at the water from the dining room table or sit on the deck at the hightop table and chairs. There are BBQ grills available, plenty of parking. The unit sleeps 4.

The place was great--quiet, cozy, private, and we loved the pool and hot tub. Really close to the state park and ft myers beaches. Dippers right next door as perfect for a drink or a meal. We would definitely recommend.

Ideal views on Estara Bay

A comfortable and convenient location. Condo was an inviting and comfortable facility with pool and chaises to relax. Just a mile from terrific Lovers Key beach at state park. Flippers highly rated restaurant was just steps from our door.

Lover's Key

The condo was beautifully and comfortably furnished. The view from all windows was outstanding. We loved watching the boats, pelicans and occasional dolphin from the balcony. Definitely would stay again if we have a chance to come that way.

Very nice

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. Plenty of room for 2. Views are great. Would be a 5 star if only they would close the hot tub at 10. Very noisy when the late night party's are active.Overall, very nice stay.

Lover's Key Getaway

Beautiful location in quiet Lover's Key, yet convenient to drive to either Bonita Beach or Fort Myers Beach for more excitement. The unit was perfect for the two of us. We loved the pool and enjoyed the wonderful view from the balcony (where we spent our evenings). For folks who like to limit sun exposure, the pool is in the shade until noon (early April), and the unit balcony is ALWAYS in the shade: perfect for warm weather. Having Flippers--a great place to eat--next door was an added plus!

Nice place, great views

The unit is very well-appointed and well-equipped. There is plenty of room for two people. The views are excellent; we saw dolphins, ospreys and pelicans on Estero Bay. Flippers Restaurant next door is excellent. The location is just across the street from Lover's Key State Park; beach walks and trails are just minutes away. One minor word of caution: the unit is just two stories above the pool spa; despite 10 PM quiet hours there is the occasional group who parties well after 10 and the sound carries directly into the unit. Anyone who is a light sleeper or who goes to be early should be aware of this.

Great location!

This was a great place to stay for a week getaway with my wife. Great location especially if you like to see dolphins and manatees. Flippers restaurant right next door has amazing food and couldn’t be more convenient. Julia was great with everything we needed. We will definitely recommend this place and are planning to come back! Absolutely loved it!

Disappointing behavior from owners

Upon check-in we were left with basically zero necessities for the week: toilet paper, napkins, paper towels, dish and hand soap etc so a shopping trip was our first stop. After rinsing a few coffee mugs, water came rushing out from under the sink flooding the entire area including the kitchen floor, mat, and everything under the sink. Upon review, a white “bucket” was already in place under the sink and this sink issue was never disclosed to us. I spent $9 and a few hours of vacation washing and drying their towels because of this mess. I informed the owners and I was told the plumber would not arrive until Tuesday or Wednesday- the day we were leaving. Also they said they would reimburse me for “a paper towel roll”. For the first 2 days of our stay we had to rinse/wash dishes in the bath tub- a huge inconvenience. The owners did not follow up very frequently or timely and I ended up getting a maintenance guy in there to stop the leak so we could use the sink. I was told 3-4 times by the owners they would compensate us for the inconveniences yet I’ve received nothing. I asked kindly this week about the reimbursement promised to us and received a “please you are being a bully. Stop” reply. They also blamed the sink issue on the previous tenants stating “I’m mad. They told us about the sink issue”, so they were aware of this yet did not disclose to us or take ownership and get it fixed. Compensation for supplies, laundry (on Easter morning) and time spent cleaning up would have been appreciated but they have chosen to call me a bully for asking “please update me when you can - thanks” ...It’s disappointing to see this happen while on vacation and to have the owners not care at all and blame others for their issues. I will not be renting from Vince/Julia again and when asking other renters in the unit about our situation- they were all taken aback at the conditions and behavior presented to us during our stay. Will be reaching out to VRBO support team about our experience as well.

Beautiful condo - magnificent views!

The condo was extremely clean and exactly as advertised. The view from the windows and the terrace was just beautiful! We enjoyed just sitting and looking out. We even saw dolphins once! Kitchen was extremely well equipped, lots of towels provided. Vince and Julia were very responsive and were excellent hosts. We had a delightful stay!

Gorgeous view!!

We loved waking up each morning to the gorgeous view from this unit! The location is great with access to Lover’s Key State Park and to Bonita Springs where we rented a pontoon for the day. Flippers restaurant is nice being right next door making it convenient for drinks or lunch by the pool.

Lovers Key

Great location. Watched the Dolphins, Birds and wildlife right from our balcony. The unit #204 was well equipped for our stay. Enjoyed the pool and 4.5 star restaurant. Will be back. Thanks to Julia and Vince.

Couldn't have been any more perfect!

We spent the month of February in this lovely condo at Lover's Key Resort. Every day we woke up to a beautiful view of Estero Bay. Across the road was Lovers Key State Park where we biked the trails and rode to the beach. The resort has a lovely pool area which we enjoyed everyday. The accommodations and the location couldn't have been any more perfect. This has become one of our favorite spots. A true tropical get away!!

Beautiful views

The unit could is as close to the water as I've seen. It is very clean, well kept and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here and go to Flippers restaurant during the stay.

Incredible view

My husband and I stayed at this lovely, newly remodeled condo for a month and we could easily have stayed for a year. The open floor plan of this unit made it seem much larger than it was. Everything we needed from linens to kitchen items were provided. The location made it a short drive to Fort Myers Beach, Bonita Springs beaches and Old Naples. My rule in Florida is to only dine at restaurants on the water and we found plenty that provided great views as well as terrific food. Both the condo and the whole resort were spotless. We were very impressed with the lobby, grounds, laundry area and even the back staircases. The favorite part of our stay was sitting on the very private balcony and watching beautiful sunrises, sunsets, dolphins, water birds, manatees and fishermen. Thank you Julia for being exceptionally kind and easy to work with. We strongly recommend staying at this beautiful home in Lovers Key Resort.

Nice rental in a lovely location

I stayed here with my family (husband, two teenage daughters). We had a great vacation. The unit is just as pictured (in the new photos). Beautiful views. It had clearly been recently updated and was spotless. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils. We never prepared a full meal there but we did make breakfast and lunch and we had everything we needed. The bathroom is really nice and large with plenty of towels. Beds were reasonably comfortable. I liked being on a lower floor, because we were in and out a lot. Also from the balcony we easily watched dolphins and a manatee in the bay below. I thought we'd get noise from the pool area, but with the A/C running we never heard a thing when we were inside. The balcony is really wonderful for just sitting and looking over the bay. The unit is good sized. Probably tight for more three adults, but for a family it was fine. The pool area is nice and my children enjoyed it, especially in the evenings when it was a bit less crowded. Flippers Restaurant is WONDERFUL. The only real downside is that there is no real beach that is *easily* accessible. The narrow strip of beach around the resort does not connect to the main beach of Lovers Key State Park. You can walk over to the start park, but I HIGHLY recommend renting bikes. It's very inexpensive and makes the run over to the start park trivial. As an older woman who has not been on a bike in a couple of decades, I can say that it was great and I loved biking through the park and over to the beach. But if you are committed to being able to walk out the door and onto the beach, then you may be disappointed. On the other hand, if you are a boating enthusiast (I am not) then this would be a great location. Other than Flippers, there are no stores or restaurants within a few miles. This is one of the appeals of Lovers Key--lots of wildlife, minimal commercialism. But it does mean that you will need to drive to these places.
