Dog-pet friendly ground level apartment, walk to the beach!

Cute and affordable! Two bedroom/one bathroom ground level apartment is just a short walk to the beach! After a perfect day at the beach, you can hose off at the outdoor shower and then grill up some hot dogs on the outdoor grill (gas grill to be shared with upstairs renters). Inside you can kick back and relax in the living room which has streaming capabilities via ROKU (no cable, must log into your own account or use free applications). If you want to bring a larger group with you, the top floor (see Carolina Blvd 200 UP) of this home can be rented together totaling four bedrooms and two baths.

1500 sq. ft. Linens included. No washer/dryer, no ice maker. No smoking. Wi-Fi included. **Dog considered for $150 non-refundable fee, provided dog is not left alone at the home. Full time residents live nearby**

This property was in a wonderful neighborhood, not far from the main hustle and bustle of Isle of Palms. Because it was dog friendly, it checked a lot of boxes for us! The first floor apartment was very comfortable, especially the living room furniture! The WiFi worked well for what we needed. Island Realty was very helpful and responsive and highly organized for our check-in. This is our first time staying there and we will look for it in the future as well!

It was an OK stay. Te kitchen appliance could use some love. No ice maker and this was disclosed on the front end It is more like a 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach NOT 3. The reality company who handled everything was GREAT. The owner scheduled a tree trimming during our stay. It was VERY inconvenient for us. Very loud ,ladders everywhere and some guy looking into our windows. We contacted the reality company and they graciously took care of the issue, They told us the owner would reach out to us. They NEVER did. We were allowed a later check out on our departure date. BUT early Sunday morning our grass was being cut. So we left. The owner is not guest friendly. Island Reality is.

Good location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location but house was ill equipped, and in need of some minor upgrades. The WiFi is shared with upstairs unit and is awful. Outlets need replacing in main rooms, can’t keep anything plugged in. There was one teaspoon and 5 forks, silverware needs replenishing. We were aware there wasn’t a washer and dryer, but we had lots of wet stuff and absolutely no where to hang it to dry, I would suggest a clothesline outside or cheap drying rack. Rug in living room is filthy. This place would be ideal with just a few upgrades, owner should spend a few days and see what’s missing! The beds were comfy, it was overall clean and you just can’t beat the location. We wouldn’t stay again though sadly, not worth the price unless it gets a little love!

Great location, not as cozy as desired

There is something magical about the south end of the island by the inlet. The beach changes so many times in a day, and the closeness of this apartment to the beach means you can visit it frequently.The floors were very greasy, and consistently smelled of deep cleaning fluids through our 3 days/2 nights there. One kid even mentioned her stuffy smelled like the cleaning solution when we got home. The kitchen had limited cooking resources, and no basic supplies for feeding a family (oil, salt, spices, something?), so anticipate only buying food or bringing it all.Given location, it is definitely worth the trip. We would plan differently with food and request less intense cleaning materials next time.

A solid “B”

We rented this house because of its proximity to Breach Inlet between IOP and Sullivan’s Island. Here, it did not disappoint! Where it was lacking is in outside upkeep (the grass/weeds were 10inches high when we arrived) and there were sandbags around the front porch to prevent water from pooling there. The advice I would give if staying at this property is “don’t rent the ground floor.” The family above us literally sounded as if they were stomping around all week. All that said, I would give the property and process a solid “B.”

Quick weekend getaway

We enjoyed our quick weekend getaway. The rental is located on the southern side of the island, away from the crowds. The walk was very short to the beach. The neighbors are friendly. We were on the first level, which worked out wonderfully for our dog. We were provided plenty of towels and blankets. The bathroom was very small, but efficient. Check in was a first for me—going to a rental office, but it was quick and painless and right on the way. The tv is older and we could not stream to it. The beds were decent. WiFi was good. There is a lot of background noise from the upstairs neighbors. We could hear their footsteps loudly. Not a big deal for a short stay, but be aware.

Great little getaway

Worked out perfect for our little trip to visit family. We were able to spend the day at the bench and enjoy downtown. It was so close to everything! We will definitely be renting again when we visit family.

Family Beach vacation

The house was perfect for our group of 6. It was truly pet friendly, owners even had a leash and emergency pet hospital info. It is a warm welcoming home. The walk to the beach was a quick walk and the neighborhood was safe and quiet.

Great location a few things to fix

Loved the location however the king size bed was hard and the people that rented the upstairs talked loudly Friday night till 2 am and Saturday night until 4 am.

Cute little place, very close to a great stretch of beach. We had a maintenance problem, but they came and fixed it right away. Only wish the property was equipped with beach towels -they are too bulky to bring a long on the plane.

Wonderful property in a GREAT location

Our stay here was great. Well stocked kitchen, beds were good and the living space was homey and comfortable. The updates made here really made the place feel nice. We also loved the one-street walk to the beach as well as a 20 min drive into downtown Charleston. We were in the bottom unit of this 2 unit place, and we were not terribly bothered by anyone above us. But, if you're easily annoyed with others' normal living noise, just know that you will hear people above you. We loved being able to have a place like this and bring our small, older dog. He really grew to love the VERY dog friendly beach. Overall, we had a great time on our spring break trip this year!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is great and awesome that you can have pets. Need to put some money they make back into the place. The place is very basic. I feel for $1150 for 3 nights. It should look better. Also the grill was just gross and very old. The place is very clean but just needs a make over. Put a TV in the master bedroom.
