2 bedroom, 1 bath duplex that is just three blocks from the ocean. Living room is equipped with a TV, VCR, basic cable and a stereo. Dining area with dining table that seats 4 and a breakfast bar that seats 2. Kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher and microwave. Washer and dryer. Queen size bed in each room. Updated bathroom with walk-in shower. Enclosed yard with lawn and BBQ.

Dogs considered on a case by case basis, requiring a picture for approval and subject to additional fees if approved.

Garage parking for 1.

The location was the best part of the stay. Loved how it was pet friendly, nice little yard so the kids could kick a ball around, but the fence was falling a part. The outdoor furniture was dirty and covered in spider webs, so we just sat on our beach chairs. Walking distance to beach and downtown made up for it. The cottage was clean, however, there were issues with the utensils/cups were not washed properly, the pots, pans and cooking utensils were very old and used. The carpets all had stains on them, the WIFI was very spotty and did not work most of the time, the decor was less than appealing and out dated. The bathroom was nicely remodeled though. New paint throughout the cottage, so that was nice. The sheets and linens were older than what we would like. Property managers were nice and quick to respond.

This guest unfortunately damaged the garage door with the rack on the top of their vehicle, which we had to charge them for, we believe that situation resulted in this review. Thankfully it was a pretty simple, inexpensive fix.

We had a great time at this property in Pismo last week. It was clean and comfortable. Close to town and the beach. We would definitely stay again!

Awesome Beach House

We stayed here for the 2nd time. You can’t beat the location. About a 5 minute walk to the beach and an equal distance to some great restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet after 7pm which makes it great for families. Property management is polite and easy to work with.

There was some construction going on before we checked it. The patio furniture was covered so we could not use. Location is great for downtown Pismo. The house was clean just a little disappointed re outdoor space.

The property has had a lot of recent updates, including a full update of the bathroom but it is a classic beach bungalow originally built in the 1960's and the owners have tried to preserve the Mid-Century Modern feel of the space which may feel outdated to some. We are in the office 7 days a week and are reachable by phone 24/7/365, and are happy to address issues guests are having but this guest did not ask for any assistance at all.

Great Location 1 block from the beach

We stayed 3 nights and had a great time. House was clean and we enjoyed the backyard and bbq. One block from the beach and a 5 min walk a bunch of restaurants. Property management was easy to work with.

Comfortable and Convenient

This unit was close to the beach, restaurants and shops which made for a great stay here in Pismo! Property mgmt company made it easy to check in and out and was very responsive.

Nice quiet place

Property was nice and quaint. The only real issue was crossing the street to the beach, but that's not on the home itself. I'm used to staying closer to the boardwalk, but the quiet at night was a really good trade. Would stay again.

Perfect location & wonderful place to take dogs

We loved that we could walk the beach, the pier, restaurants and shops. It was a fantastic place to take our dogs to. We went for the Corgi festival. The home has a small backyard area that we and the dogs loved. There was a doggie door which our dogs are very accustomed to. That was very handy! We would most definitely stay there again.

Good location....walkable to all local restaurants and the beach....pato needs new furniture

Easy to grab a bite to eat or walk on the beach....many great eateries to choose from. Patio area needs new outdoor chairs and a table......those old white plastic chairs are very very outdated and there were only 3....

Beach relaxation

Simple, clean, comfortable place to stay . Wonderfully close to the beach with a nice yard for our dog to run around while we ate our meals at the outside table with an ocean view. If your vehicle is too long it won’t fit in garage and street parking is very competitive.

Lovely home

The house was very nice and convenient, I love how close it was to the beach and just a 10 minute walk to where all the shops are at!! The bathroom was very nice. The house felt a little dirty, definitely can use a deep clean with the bed sheets and update a few things. But overall very cozy home for a trip has all the basics, I loved.

Home Away From Home

Very comfortable bed. Lots of dishes and utensils. Many towels. We were happy to have the garage. Enjoyed the music we could get on Pandora. Lots of detergent for washing dishes. Nice backyard, although noise from the busy street. Close to the beach. Close to town. We could walk all over. No spices except salt. The Direct TV didn't work very well at times. It kept spinning, especially on the weekend. We just went back to music, so it wasn't so bad. We really enjoyed our time there and would go back. Maybe next year!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved that this location was quieter and a bit away from the bustle of the main tourist area, and having a garage meant we always had parking, even during the busy weekend. The small yard was a huge plus both for our dog and for hosing off all the sand after our days on the beach. And so close to the beach!!We cooked most of our meals in the well equipped kitchen. When we did eat out we were in easy walking distance to lots of great choices. It was surprising to us that the place was stocked more like a hotel than a VRBO. We had to buy soap, shampoo, and toilet paper to cover our weeklong stay. Wasn't that big a deal - just different. The WiFi was really weak. The only way we could ever connect was to sit right outside the bedroom where the router was located. Again, not a deal killer for us since we had no desire to spend time on our computers, but it did make it hard to check in on important matters at home when necessary. In spite of any small issues, we absolutely loved our stay here and it would be our first choice anytime we visit Pismo Beach. I already wish we could go back!

The esthetic was not my preferred with lots of kick-nacks and artificial floral arrangements. But... nothing was dusty inside. This was the first time we have gotten to take our dog with us and that meant the world to our kids.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: You can’t beat the location and ease of access of this property, and the responsiveness and professionalism of the Coastal Vacation Rentals staff are superb. But the place needs serious work, going beyond the typical dated decor you find in PB. The electric range burners tilt on the stovetop and are unsafe. There’s a gritty feeling on the floors and tabletops. Some of the cookware is greasy and stored on unlined old wood shelves. The dish drain was so filthy we just didn’t bother to use it. The WiFi is seriously slow. It wouldn’t take a ton of money to get this place in better shape.
