A charming vintage cottage and getaway.
Pets welcome (they'll enjoy the fenced yard) and a 10 minute walk to the North Beach via Solomon Avenue. Complimentary WiFi, garden seating. The 2nd floor is the ideal kids play area. Full of wonderful original art and unique touches.
North Campbell is next to Chu's Convenience and the golf cart rental. The Historic Tybee Guard House - ideal for weddings and special occasions- is 1 block away, as is JC Park for the kids to play! The Tybee Lighthouse and Museum are an easy walk as well.
Please note- the location is residential, however being so close to the restaurants and North End business district also means that during busy summer weekends and weeks, you are closer to traffic and noise. If you are looking for an extremely quiet location- this is not the location. If you are looking to be more in the heart of activity and close to restaurants and services, then this is the location for you! Let us know if you need us to clarify the restaurants and shops that are close to the cottage.

Expectations Exceeded

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the moment we drove into the driveway, I knew we were going to love this place. The charm, character, and history was evident everywhere we looked. It was exactly perfect being that we did not want some cookie cutter condo to stay in this time. Perfect location, centrally located, but was not noisy. And the customer service was beyond exceptional!! Will not consider any other rental company. We are pro-Mermaid for life!!! 😂

Blissful Summer Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was wonderful! The overall air conditioning was great with a brand new kitchen and very clean and homey ambiance. We enjoyed the house and its location greatly as it was a 10 minute walk to the lighthouse and north beach shoppes and around the corner from a good restaurant - Cockspur Grill (named after the old lighthouse in the Savannah river). Tammy was very attentive and helpful and made sure everything was to our liking.

Great Rental Company

The mermaids were very helpful. They reached out to me when my initial house became unavailable due to plumbing issues and quickly provided options for a new house we could rent for the same weekend. The mermaids also checked in through text during the stay as well to ensure our stay was comfortable.

Quaint and Quirky

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have enjoyed Rose's for 2 years now. It does have a homey feel to it and the kitchen remodel is lovely. The beds are comfortable. The decor is strange and for a rental. Some of the paintings are dark and dreary and the religious decor doesn't fit the quaintness of this cottage. We are people that love fresh air and the windows do not open. The living room furniture has covers on them and are always in shambles. There is attic space and another bathroom upstairs which would add to the quaintness of the cottage however it is locked and not useable. Deck off the kitchen could use an update as well. We have made Rose's our home away from home for a few years. We hope that others enjoy the quaint but quirkiness of Rose's Folie.
