Located directly behind historic Officer's Row, this quiet part of Tybee is close to the Lighthouse and North Beach.
Ground level, fenced-in yard, dog-friendly, tall ceilings and extra large windows allowing tons of natural light to pour in. The home now offers 2 full baths and an additional "water closet!"
Full of art from local artists and vintage finds, comfy furniture and best of all the extra large screened porch with rocking chairs. Truly a southern charmer of a home! This home is a historic home, and the homeowner has added an additional full bath for a total of 2 1/2 baths! Yet another unique feature of our home! This is half of the duplex with Enlisted Men's Mess Hall on the other side. Both sides are quiet and have private/separate entrances. Need space for a large family? Rent both sides!

I have two small dogs and they had a blast in the fenced in yard and the screened porch for some sun bathing. The rental company was beyond exceptional. They checked in on us and communicated with being bothersome. The location is so close to the beach, the lighthouse, great places to eat. We walked to several places and we rented bikes because everything is so close. We have an electric car and there is a fast charger just around the corner. We drove to Savannah several days, itā€™s only 20 minutes away and there is so much to do and see. I canā€™t say enough about how impressed I was with the hosts. Also, when we left , Tammy reached out to let me know we had left something behind so we could arrange to get it back. Just wonderful ladies. I will definitely be recommending this spot to others and I will also be back in the future. Thank you mermaids for making my stay so easy and really going out of your way for us. I truly appreciate it. Your wonderful.

Every time we see something we hadnā€™t noticed before. Lots of thought has gone into the furnishings. Tammy has always been amazing! She always makes us feel special. She quickly answers our questions and helps us out. The cottage is within a short walk five minute to North Beach. Itā€™s always spotless. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've been bringing my family here every summer for over 10 years. We always stay at the Screened Inn with Mermaid Cottages. Its been great every time. The street is quiet and the beach usually not very crowded.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a great week. Weather was perfect. Water warm had such a good time. Love tybee and love the screened inn circa 1925.
