This home was beautiful, comfortable, peaceful and quiet. The perfect place to relax for a few days. I loved everything about it! Michael, the host, was friendly and helpful, quick to respond when I messaged him with a question. I would definitely stay here again.

The home is very comfortable and quiet. Everything you could need is here.Our host was very quick to reply and provided timely information. His suggestions for places to eat were great and helpful.My husband And I would definitely stay here again and hope you will too.

Everything was exactly as described in the listing, and working with Michael was a breeze. He met us at the house the evening we checked in and showed us everything we needed to know. We had a minor issue with one of the AC units, and he was very responsive and got us taken care of. My family grew up in Albuquerque and this home had that classic NM vibe we hadn't seen in 20 years. The pergola was PERFECT for coffee and watching the balloons in the mornings. Grateful for a lovely stay.

We had a lovely time at Casa La Huerta! The interior of the house was very comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed looking at all of the southwestern decor. We loved the outdoor patio and garden, where we could sip our coffee in the morning and watch the hot air balloons go up or grill our dinner in the evening. The location was very convenient to Old Town, several museums, the Botanic Garden and Aquarium, and Los Poblanos. We were also able to walk to the Rio Grande Nature Center and meet family for a meal at the Flying Star Cafe. The neighborhood is very quiet and offers a relaxing oasis from the busier areas of the city. Our host, Michael, was very welcoming and accommodated our change in arrival time due to travel delays and an early morning departure. We hope to stay here again when visiting relatives in Albuquerque!

Our host, Michael, was wonderful. He took the time to meet us at the property and personally show us the house so we immediately felt at home. The property is absolutely lovely and was appointed with everything we needed to make our stay perfect!

Overall the property is the best we have ever stayed in. The comforts are many to remark on like the beds, and older but absolutely high quality and appropriate furniture. The fully equipped and well-appointed kitchen has a dishwasher which surprised me as the house itself dates back a ways. The warmed tile underfoot in the bathroom was a delightful surprise, and something we would like in our own home. Other small touches, like slippers and robes were very nice. A really good grill on the patio , which we put to good use, made our stay very ,very fun and nice. And the neighborhood was so quiet the whole 6 days we were there, it was very relaxing. We had the opportunity to pick apricots for our breakfast in the orchard, and there are many beautiful fruit trees full of promising tasty apples, pears and other fruit coming on. Then there are the grounds, and the surrounding gardens, with a wall fence, which gave us the ultimate privacy and calm. All in all the house is beautifully and tastefully decorated in the old New Mexico style and colors , We can't wait to go back.
