Accommodations: Secluded Home four levels + Loft, 8/10 bedrooms, indoor pool, sauna, elevator, handicap accessible, game room, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, pool swimming pool, pool table, air hockey, ping pong, and foos ball/poker table, darts, Sleeps 24-40.

Please note that you will need 4 wheel drive or chains to access Wolverton Heights during inclement winter weather. You should have at least two 4 wheel drive vehicles in your party. Parking for non-4 wheel drive vehicles is available in the resort parking lot a short distance away. You would need to use your 4 wheel drive vehicles to carry your group from the parking lot to Wolverton Heights , a distance of about 300 yards. We can provide assistance if needed during normal hours.

The FIRST LEVEL includes two car garage, large game room with pool table, media center, electronic games, and wet bar. This level has bedroom with king bed and private full bath. Game room has a half bath. Rollaway beds are available for additional sleeping space. Step directly on to Dew Drop trail.
INDOOR POOL AND SAUNA. The first level leads out to a spacious glass-enclosed pool house with heated pool and waterfall spa. Full bath with shower and washer and dryer. Access Winterset Trail from the pool house.

The SECOND LEVEL is the bedroom suites floor: Suite 1 has two double beds, Suite 2 has a King bed and trundle (2 twins), Suite 3 has 2 double beds, Suite 4 has 2 Queen beds, Suite 5 and Suite 6 have a King bed, all suites have private full baths. Computer room with wireless and high speed Internet connectivity. Full work station. A bunk bed is extra sleeping in office room. Small decks for five bedrooms; magnificent views.

The THIRD LEVEL is the guest living floor. Large great room with see-through stone fireplace. Handicap accessible master bedroom with king bed and full ADA bath. Spacious kitchen/bar and dining room areas. Coffered ceilings. Large windows, spacious decking, and mud room provide breathtaking views of ski slopes, mountains, valleys, and lakes. Watch the skiers traverse the ski jumps just outside the window, or from the outdoor hot tub. Access Lower Dew Drop Trail from the deck.

The FOURTH LEVEL and LOFT is the owner's suite and is available for larger groups at an additional charge. It has its own private elevator entrance, spacious living and dining area, separate kitchen, master bedroom with king size bed, Jacuzzi bath, raised living room areas, and cathedral ceiling. Like the guest level, this floor has spectacular views with a large walk out deck with access to the outdoor hot tub. Rates shown are for three levels only. A spacious LOFT includes a second master bedroom with king size bed, queen sleeper sofa, private bath, study, and sitting areas with awesome views from the top of the lodge. Rates shown are for three levels, except as specified below. Add 30% to Base rental rate for entire home rate. This 10,500 square foot house has it all! Imagine how ideal this would be for an extended family, friends, or a business retreat? This house is located at the confluence of 4 ski trails: Upper Dew Drop, Winterset Spur, Lower Dew Drop (Terrain Park) and Upper Winterset Trails. Dew Drop is typically a Terrain Park slope so guests will be able to watch the skiers doing their jumps from the living room. You may never want to leave the house, but we hope you will because our location offers you proximity and convenience to all Canaan Valley attractions. 8-10 bedrooms, 17 total beds, sleeps 24-40, Ten of the bedroom’s have private bathrooms.

Due to the extraordinarily high demand by large families for this home, stays during the busy summer season from mid-June thru Labor Day require you to also book the 4th level and loft, referred to as the Owner’s Suite. Rates shown are for three levels. The premium for the 4th level and loft is 30% extra and is included in the rate quoted. Whole house rental is also required for the New Years and Presidents Day Weekends. Also note that June 28-July 5, 2021 and July 2-9, 2021 must be a week-long say ONLY.

The Lodge at Wolverton Heights sits on the Timberline Mountain. Timberline Mountain area is situated between two state parks and the White Grass Cross Country Ski Area. It is surrounded by a wildlife refuge. Deer and other wildlife roam throughout the resort. The ski slopes serve as a world-class mountain biking course during the off-season. Canaan Valley Resort and Conference Center is strategically located in the Potomac Highlands of the Allegheny Mountains offering a Ski Area, Golf, Tennis, and Fishing and so much more. Canoeing, white water rafting, motor boating, caverns, scenic railroads, and even scuba diving are within 30-60 minutes of Canaan Valley. All attractions and destinations are only a short drive.
Canaan Valley area hosts Timberline Mountain by Perfect North, Canaan Valley State Park and Conference Center, Whitegrass Cross Country Ski Area, Blackwater Falls State Park (& Ski/Sled Area), Dolly Sods Wilderness Area and a plethora of trail heads within DNR Wildlife Refuge areas surrounding Tucker County all within a 15 mile driving radius.
The quaint and quirky towns of Thomas and Davis host shops, galleries, restaurants and other oddities, including the famous Purple Fiddle with live bands scheduled. Both towns are worth exploring as they are only 2 miles apart! Don’t come to Canaan Valley expecting normal tourism. This is a unique protected area with home town Appalachian style guesting. Wolverton Heights supplies hair dryers, a crib is available, several pack n plays, three high chairs, security baby safety blinds for 3rd floor common room stairs, a mobile firepit is in garage for use, pool has some play toys, decks have 2 propane grills and one charcoal grill on the hot tub level.
