Surf Side Shores #2703 is an interior gulf-front 2 bedroom 2 bath condominium located on the 7th floor in building II overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The unit is approximately 820 sq ft with views of the gulf from the living room and gulf-side master bedroom. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with washer and dryer. There are 2 full baths with either a tub/shower combo or stand-alone shower. The gulf-side master bathroom is accessed via the bedroom and hallway. The street-side bedroom has an attached bathroom with a stand-up shower. No Monthly's | Sleeps 6
King, Queen and Sofa Sleeper

Surf Side Shores I and II are 9 story buildings with 6 units per floor located 1 mile West of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Surf Side Shores has two beach side pools, one of which is an extended season pool. The property also has a grilling area that services both buildings I and II. 2 car limit.

STAY AND PLAY
This rental comes with our 'Stay and Play Package', which includes complimentary tickets to the best area activities including golfing, deep sea fishing, dolphin/nature cruise, amusement park, zoo, and movie rentals. Each rental comes with our "Stay and Play package." Some restrictions apply.

*The 'Stay and Play Package' begins on the scheduled date of arrival and is not available on day of departure. Services are non-cumulative and non-transferable. All services are subject to change, subject to availability, and weather permissible. The 'Stay and Play Package' does not apply to monthly rentals.

Very poor hospitality

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’ve been to several locations from this site and have at least had a very helpful and welcoming experience. Not with this case. No one made contact to see how our stay was going, the guy in the booth at the entrance was not helpful at all. Had no clue to the protocol. I had to go to another office offsite several miles from condo just to get my keys and parking pass. SUPER inconvenient when you’ve been driving in traffic for 6 hrs. Then I got sarcasm from property manager to check my text message when asking about where the office was. Just all around poor communication. Dishes were dirty condo was super hot when we got there. Beds were comfy. Location was nice. Pool was SUPER SMALL. Barely shallow end room so not accommodating for small kids. No shade at the pool either. Vending ice machine that cost $7 a bag was insane. Elevator was out of commission several times a day so we had to walk 7 flights. I saw I worker twice in the 4 days we were there.

The photos were very deceptive. I wouldn’t go so far as to say newly remodeled. It’s an old building. It did have new countertops in the kitchen and newly tiled bathrooms. The furniture was new. The sheets and mattress covers did not fit the king bed properly and kept coming off the mattress during sleep. We were given only 4 bath hand towels total for only 4 adults so we were washing them every night. The kitchen was not very well stocked, door hinges were rusted as were the refrigerator racks in the freezer and other metal fixtures. The throw rugs on the broken tile floors were worn and did not appear clean. The toilet in one bathroom ran continuously. We will not stay here again. Disappointed for what appeared in the pictures and what the reality was for the price.

October get away

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It went smoothly. There were no hangers in the closets. Everything was clean. Kitchen lacked a few essentials, bowls, cups for coffee or tea - a random assortment. We never spoke to anyone. It was all by texts. It was not a problem, but, if we’d had one, I’m not sure if it would work. We were not told that there were 2 buildings, so, couldn’t figure out the correct number to punch & had to text for info, because no one answered. Finally, called an emergency number & got the info.

Great proximity to the beach!

The condo had all necessities we needed for a week long stay and was in a fantastic location with easy access to the beach and pools. The balcony view was perfect!

Great place to stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was perfect for the 4 of us! Perfect view of the water. Condo was clean and well furnished. The buildings elevator was fast and with there being only 8 (or maybe 9) floors there’s not a ton of people clogging it up. Check in/out was easy peasy. If I had to voice a con I only wished the front door had a key code pad and not a traditional key lock. I don’t like to worry about losing a key on the beach. I would book this place again.

My 4 friends and I usually stay in Destin but decided to give Gukf shores a try. We loved it, the condo and area. Getting so close to the beach was a must for us. Everything in the condo was great everything worked perfectly and was in excellent condition we will be back 😁

Love location-unit needs certain updates

We loved the location of this condo and short walk to beach from pool. This unit has recently been renovated, however sofa is very uncomfortable and kitchenware is in desperate need of updating! Not a costly fix! The shower curtain in master fell and we were unable to rehang (my husband is pretty handy) but it was shot. Maintenance did offer to come repair but we chose to allow them to repair after we vacated. Overall, very comfortable bed and great visit! Bathrooms are TINY just FYI, but rate is good. Not a bad review overall, just some things to be aware of. 😬

Gulf Shores Condo

The views from the balcony were spectacular. Could see both sunrise and sunset. The condo was well furnished and the master bedroom mattress was very comfortable. My only suggestion would be to get some new frying pans. We really enjoyed our stay

The only complaint was since the keys to the room are duplicates we struggled to lock and unlock the condo but other than that it was great. The couch was new which was nice. They were working on the exterior of the building, but this was not an issue and the rental property notified us in advance. All in all you will not be disappointed in staying at the Surf Side Shores 2703

Enjoyed staying at the property. It was as presented. The only down side is the two pieces of living room furniture. I think they should have been replaced years ago. Very uncomfortable.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We very much enjoy visiting Gulf Shores and renting from Gulf Shores Rebtal. Unfortunately the unit we rented was discussing mildewed and had mold. They did offer to move us to another building which we did not want as we stayed I this building for many years and our friends are in the same building. Since we didn’t move they offer us a additional things on Explore which we do not use. This will probably be my last visit to Gulf Sore as the rental agency can’t guarantee their rental are clean and mold/mildew free. My wife spent the week coughing and complaining about the unit which ruined my vacation.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is in need of updating, better quality furniture and deep cleaning. In the family room, there was food, dirt/ sand and hair on and under the rug. The ceiling fan was caked with dust. The DVD player did not connect and operate with the very small screen TV. Cracks in the ceiling, old mattresses, dresser drawers nearly fall out when opening. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary plates, flatware, pans, utensils, etc. This unit has potential, but will make other arrangements for our next beach visit. Very good reservation, check in and out process.
