We are the Scott’s; we own and manage our 9 properties on St. John all under the brand “St John Resort Villas”, ranging from a secluded studio cottage to an ultra-luxury 7-bedroom villa high atop exclusive Peter Bay on the North Shore. With our dedicated staff, you are sure to have one of your best vacations ever!! In addition, we offer rental vehicles-you can pick the car/s of your choice on our website after you book, and they’ll be ready for you when you arrive at your vacation property, keys in the kitchen. Also, land/sea transfers from airport to villa and day or sunset excursions aboard our top-model Aquila Catamaran. It's equipped with the latest foil technology for a super-fast, very smooth ride.

This is the way the Caribbean used to be, old world Caribbean when ships carried sugar cane from the islands plantations to Europe. When pirates sailed the Caribbean in search of treasures and riches!
No high heels here! Your private oasis awaits, this was built for romance and tranquility. Set on the hillside overlooking the harbor, in a jungle setting with plenty of palms, plants, and flowers.....we were inspired by the Robinson Crusoe novel! Sip a morning coffee on the cottage deck and watch fish boats slip out of the harbor in search of marlin, tuna and more.
At night look up and admire the theater of stars and the beauty of the lights on St John.
Experience the raw real Caribbean, like Tarzan and Jane…..be savage in this luxury eco-cottage!
The outdoor garden jungle grotto is comprised of a large stone shower, pergola draped Hot Tub, hammock, and coconut palm thatched cabana with love bed!
The view from the deck looks over tree tops down to Chocolate Hole Bay….hosting a small collection of sailboats and fish boats. At the end of the bay is a beach worthy of a visit, collect shells, snorkel with the fish!
Interior features include a new kitchenette (2019) with stainless steel appliances, butcher block counters, ceiling fans, air conditioning, flat screen TV with cable & wireless internet,
The cottage deck features include a gas grill, table and chairs for outside dining, and loungers for sun time!
The property has an abundance of beautiful tropical plants and palm trees. Listen to the tree frogs at night and watch the hummingbirds, bananaquits, and iguanas during the day. Cruz Bay is about a 7-minute drive and the grocery stores less than a 3- minute drive. Chocolate Hole Beach is a walkable distance, about a 10 minute walk.

**This property is for able-bodied people only! The bed is a loft and the outside area is not level and requires agility and surefootedness.

A perfect little bungalow lots of privacy loved the outside shower in the hot tub to relax at the end of the day. Never seen such a beautiful island in my life thank you very much we very much enjoyed our stay. I've told a couple others about it

Highly recommend romantic getaway

My fiance and I stayed here for our trip in St. John. The property is absolutely beautiful, the interior is very cozy with very romantic lighting, great kitchen and utensils to cook. It is a studio but the AC and ventilation is great so even if you cook, there's no lingering smell. We absolutely loved the balcony and the view of the bay. The outdoor shower, bungalow, and hot tub were our favorite parts of the VRBO and make it one of a kind. Very well kept and clean, we would 100% return if we visit in the future. It was very private as well, you do not have to worry about any neighbors!

BEST VACATION EVER!!!

Everything was perfect. The house was spotless. My wife and I went for our 30th anniversary. We had the best time at the house. The outside shower, hot tub and bed were amazing. Every night we stayed outside until late night enjoying the view and excellent weather from the outdoor bed. Everything that we needed was available at the house. We grilled out a few nights on the upper deck and had better dinners than we had at most of the restaurants. We will definitely return. The place is a couples dream retreat!!!! I really can not say enough how absolutely beautiful, unique the place is. I would recommend it to everyone. Thank you to the Scott’s, Steve and Tracey

Newlywed Bliss

We enjoyed the Coconut Cottage immensely during our 7 day honeymoon. The flora, fauna, vistas and weather were spectacular! The location is off the beaten path on a hillside overlooking Chocolate Hole, so PLEASE be aware that you will need a vehicle if you intend to leave the cottage for anything. Thankfully the owners have 4WD SUVs and a catamaran for your rental. Another plus is the availability and support of the St John Villas staff: Will, Colby and Nellie provided exceptional care during our stay. We will be back again with family to experience a larger property in 2023.

Best honeymoon ever!

This was the PERFECT VRBO for our honeymoon! It was quaint, had everything you needed, the hosts were super thorough and helpful, safe location and SO private! The outside shower was a particular favorite! Definitely will be going back!

Paradise for Two

My wife and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary. The owners are extremely responsive and very nice people. They checked in on us and gave us recommendations for local restaurants and sites. The property managers are super responsive and nice as well. Perfect for time away with your significant other! Thank you for allowing us to rent for you!!!

My husband and I rented this location for our honeymoon and had an amazing experience. The cottage is not far from beaches and restaurants. And the view is stunning!!! I wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Peaceful, Perfect, Private Paradise

So I was very skeptical when my husband booked this cottage for our 20 year anniversary, for the mere fact that the bathroom and showers are outdoor. But let me tell you….if you haven’t taken a shower outside in the middle of an oasis jungle setting, you are missing out!! Y’all! This place is nothing short of amazing! It’s close to everywhere you could possibly want to go and sometimes you never want to leave Coconut Cottage! They supply you with all amenities and even an open bar to drink from if you so choose! I could go on and on, but really you just need to experience it for yourself! Our ONLY complaint is the window unit doesn’t cool the room much, but then again, we really can’t complain because a lot of places there doesn’t even have air! We WILL be back! ❤️

Private Paradise

My husband and I celebrated our 15 year anniversary in St John and stayed here! All I can say is WOW. It is just off the beaten path enough to be very private but close enough to be 7 min away from everything. They did an excellent job with the lay out of the property. The outdoor living was amazing! Some of the best I’ve seen! I’d def do it again and recommend to friends!!

Visit to paradise

This little cottage is nothing short of amazing! The views, the interior design, and can we talk about the landscaping?!? The foliage and plant life are bigger than life and complete the whole experience. I was in awe the entire time. The charged water proof boom box was nice at night while we were soaking in the hot tub. Management was very attentive and welcoming. It was a little difficult to find the cottage at first but Marykae sent us great instructions that helped. Would give this place 20 stars if I could!!! Thank you for allowing us to stay!! Will be back 😍

Perfect location!

We loved the location, close enough to town and groceries but secluded and private. The outdoor shower is really nice. Kitchen has everything you need. And providing beach towels, chairs, cooler, umbrella and snorkel equipment was much appreciated. My only complaint was having to climb up into the bed, I have short legs so it was a bit of a challenge 😜. But if you know that beforehand it’s no problem. The cottage is cozy and the owners and managers are very responsive and just want you to have a memorable stay.

Tropical Oasis!

We just left yesterday and had an amazing week at the Coconut Cottage! Definitely use the directions on the map she emails you at first, we found it easily that way. The place is absolutely beautiful and we loved waking up and having coffee outdoors with the view. Our evenings were spent in the hot tub and days on the island beaches. The cottage provides everything you could need for the beach! It was so amazing to not have to worry about it. I loved the wildlife at this place...the little hermit crabs and lizards everywhere! Be careful walking down to the hot tub area, there are ALWAYS crabs on the steps and stones. I love them! The only bit of nature I didn’t care for were the mosquitos, but I am a magnet so I was prepared. The only recommendation I have for management is to clean the fan above the bed. It’s pretty dirty/dusty and some small webs going from it to the walls. Not a huge deal and the place was so amazing for us. We will definitely be back!

Amazing time!!!

My husband and I absolutely loved spending our 20th Anniversary in the Coconut Cottage. I was so hung up on the outdoor oasis, that I didn’t really pay attention to the cottage itself when booking and honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. The bed is a loft bed and requires some steps climbing into, which is not a problem at all for us, but had my elderly Mom rented, she would have never got up there so I figured I’d mention for future readers. For a minute I didn’t see a TV, but then when we seen the HUGE TV, my husband was sold😁. We bought a few groceries and the kitchen had everything needed to cook my breakfast items. The open bar was a nice touch, although I packed my own liquor so it was not used, but appreciated! I loved drinking my morning coffee on the front deck in the morning and looking out over the water. The first day there we seen a beautiful rainbow, and it set the tone of our entire trip. We went to the beach at Chocolate Hole, but unfortunately did not snorkel or kayak there, but we did use all the beach equipment provided at another beach. The noodles, snorkel gear, cooler, chairs and umbrella were a nice addition and will make any beach plans so much easier. Now to the best part: the outdoor oasis was nothing short of amazing. We spent the nights in the hot tub and plugged our phones into the large speaker for music. I loved the outdoor shower and used it every day over the main one. I loved the feeling of seclusion without completely being secluded. The owners and property manager were very helpful especially when I lost the primary email that had everything I needed and was asking 50 questions! I loved this cottage so much, and if you are reading this, I’m certain you will too!

Exactly what we were looking for.

Overall this place is an amazing little getaway. We found it pretty easily via the navigation app. The AC was on when we arrived and there was wine, cheese, crackers and a note to congratulate us. The area is adorable and we didn't leave for a couple days! SO relaxing. The outdoor shower, daybed and hot tub were perfect. We also enjoyed some snorkeling in the bay here one evening. We would definitely stay here again. In a time when customer service can be unreliable, and where things may not be marketed as they really are, this place is spot on and worth the money spent. Do not wait, just book this now.

Great Location for Couples

We really enjoyed this property. Since restaurants were only offering take-out, we cooked most of our meals without any issues. Kitchen is well stocked. The cottage is in a GREAT location...overlooks Chocolate Hole, only minutes from Cruz Bay, but yet you feel totally secluded and private as it sits at the end of a small road. Outdoor area has been very nicey designed and maintained. Owners are incredibly responsive and truly want to make your trip special. Highly recommend.

Perfect getaway!

The property is exactly as it appears in the pictures, which was a pleasant surprise. We watched the turtles swim every morning while we drank coffee, sat in the hot tub every night, and explored the island every day. We didn't want for anything! Having beach chairs, towels, a cooler and snorkel gear was all we needed every day. We only Kayaked once. We thought we would do more of that, but we had way too much fun snorkeling and fly fishing. We brought our own blue tooth speaker and listened to Pandora while we ate our dinner outside. We also listened to someone else and the two times it rained, brought the cushions inside - thanks for the tip! If you want to dine out on St. Johns, make your reservations ahead of time! Not all of the restaurants were open back up yet (2/2020), and we had a hard time finding any place, so only ate out twice for dinner. We were disappointed as we had been scoping out where we wanted to eat for months ahead of our trip for our anniversary and my husbands birthday. We ended up heading back to the cottage on our anniversary but that wasn't really a problem because we had everything we needed to cook at the cottage. We highly recommend the Starfish Market on the island. It's a busy place but they have just about everything you need. We really loved the Coconut Cottage and St. Johns! We were celebrating our 30th anniversary and it was the honeymoon we never had!

Yes, that is a lot of villas on the island; it genuinely attests to our love of St John!! We love the quiet calm and natural beauty of the island!! It's a very special place with an enchanting town, gentle green hillsides, and crystal clear, turquoise blue tropical water.

We first started coming to the island as a couple in 2011 and rented various accommodations. After many frequent trips to the island, we decided that it's time to buy our own place; somewhere we can call home and that would encompass what we loved about our frequent stays. Waterfront, directly on the water was what we both loved and that was our number one criterion when searching. We saw Lime in de Coconut Villa advertised and immediately fell in love with it and bought it right then. All our family love the island and at our family gatherings, there's always a great story or fabulous memory shared. It's everyone's favorite place to vacation!! St. John is a magical piece of this earth full of amazing blessings from God and nature. We loved the villa so much that we got married at Lime In De Coconut in 2017!

In renting our villa we found that all of our guests loved the villa and we kept hearing time and time again it was there best ever vacation. It was from this that we decided to expand this into a little business and started to look for the perfect properties on St. john. We want all our guests to Love St John and have the best vacation possible as we do. We know you will catch the feel good vibes of the island and our villas too! This is our escape from reality-haaaa!!

Come on down have some fun and relaxation and when done take away memories of a life!
