Very cute property that had everything we needed for a fun getaway weekend! It’s not far from the beach, and Teresa had lots of extra beach items (wagon, chairs, towels, etc) that was so helpful since we had flown in. There is no laundry on site, but that was no problem since we were only there for a few days. Would definitely recommend this property, and Teresa as a host!

Great location. Easy walk to beach and main street. Perfect for 3 people. Lovely covered patio to listen to sounds of the ocean. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Teresa was very thoughtful and responsive. Will be staying there again!

Cozy and Perfect Location

We loved our stay! Location wise we were far enough for some peace and quiet but within walking distance of everything. My daughter loved the outside shower and all the little touches that made this stay so special.

This was our second girls escape to Lil Pearl and it was great! Everything you need is within walking distance. House is clean, stocked with everything you need and the beds are super comfortable.

It had that perfect balance of being stylish and cozy without ever feeling overdone. It genuinely felt like being at home, which made it so easy to settle in and fully relax.One of the standout aspects was the location. Being just a short walk to the beach made everything feel easy and convenient, whether heading out for a morning walk along the shore or catching sunset in the evening. That proximity alone would have made this place worth it, but the home itself elevated the entire experience.The attention to detail throughout didn’t go unnoticed. Everything felt intentional and well cared for, which added to the overall sense of comfort. A small but memorable highlight was the dog washing station—such a thoughtful and unique touch, especially after a sandy beach day. It’s those kinds of details that really set this property apart from others.Overall, this place felt like a hidden gem—peaceful, charming, and incredibly well put together. It’s the kind of spot you almost want to keep to yourself, but it’s too good not to share. The cute little cottage was perfect for our short stay at Folly Beach. We came for the 4th of July fireworks -that were cancelled - but enjoyed our stay nevertheless. Cottage is as described online. Beds were comfortable and we had everything that we needed.

The location of the Lil Pearl is excellent. It's an easy walk to Center Street and the beach. But the immediate area is quiet. The house is very cozy and cute and most importantly, clean. The little extras such as snacks and toiletries as well as plenty of towels were an added bonus. We had a great time and a relaxing vacation!

Great fall vacation spot!

A great little beach house

The Lil' Pearl was a sweet little beach house and was fully equipped with anything we might need. We were able to walk to the beach and to the downtown area to find places to eat. My husband and I enjoyed our get-away.

The kitchen was fully equipped. The host was outstanding, helpful, and even checked with us physically when we encountered a problem with city heavy equipment working on the driveway. This was a one-time event. The upside was meeting the host personally and being able to be in contact with her by phone. The chiminea had a supply of sticks to burn too.

Best Weekend Getaway

Lil Pearl was the perfect cottage for our weekend away. We rented a golf cart and enjoyed the island for two whole days. It was perfectly located and so close to the beach!! If you want a quintessential beach weekend, This place is it!

Folly Beach Stay

I am a Columbia, SC native but have lived in Folly Beach for the last 33 yrs. I raised 2 wonderful daughters on Folly Beach and just can't think of a better place to live. I almost want to keep it a secret but then I think everyone should experience little 'Mayberry by the Sea' or 'Edge of America' as it is coined.
I have been renting my long term properties for the past 35 years. However, I enjoy the vacation rental properties the most. It's so enjoyable meeting my guests and helping them have the best experience possible during their stay and being in the most beautiful spot that I know, Folly Beach. I love to share my favorite spots and experiences with my Guests at this little slice of heaven.

The "Lil Pearl" is convenient, simple, comfortable, clean, fresh, fun, tasteful, affordable, and just 'Folly'. Not a "resort style cookie cutter". I never liked those much, what so ever.
Real elegance comes in a much simpler fashion.
