The Beachy Keen Bungalow is a bright and breezy home that’s perfect for relaxing after a sunny day at the beach. With lots of bright windows and luxurious furnishings, you’re guaranteed to unwind immediately and never want to leave.

The great room is open and spacious so the entire family can relax together either on the comfy couch in the living space, at the dining table or fixing a snack in the fully stocked kitchen. There’s also a cute sun room stocked a TV to keep even the little ones entertained. The master bedroom features 5 star, hotel quality linens and a plush Cal King bed. The second bedroom has two twin beds, perfect for the kiddos. The third bedroom has a plush top, queen bed with deluxe bedding. Outside, you’ll find a fully enclosed yard with lots of room for outdoor BBQ meals and play. Winter or summer, the hot tub will be a perfect spot to relax after all your Santa Cruz fun.

This three bedroom, two bath home comfortably sleeps six people.

Our goal is to ensure your Santa Cruz vacation is perfect. And with some of the best beaches and amenities within walking distance, you don’t have to go far to enjoy Santa Cruz. Twin Lakes (aka Blacks Beach), that’s only 1.5 blocks away, features great surf during the day, amazing views of the lighthouses and fire pits for roasting marshmallows in the evening. If you're a coffee person, take a quick 2 block walk to The Windmill Cafe for one of the best lattes in Santa Cruz. The Santa Cruz harbor is walking distance and features great restaurants like The Kind Grind, Aldo’s or the famous Crow’s Nest. Hop in your car and drive 5 minutes to the Beach Boardwalk, downtown Santa Cruz or Capitola. We have a “Things to Do” binder at the house full of recommendations to help you enjoy your stay. And we’re always available prior to your arrival to help in anyway. This is sure to be one of your most memorable vacations yet!

Great beach getaway

Perfect house only five minutes from the beach and great restaurants. Easy drive to the boardwalk for the kids. Would definitely recommend.

Family beach vacation

Our family enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly walkable to the beach, close to the market, taqueria, and coffee shop. Plenty of toys and books kept our children busy. Beds are very very soft. One room had a particularly potent mildew scent that can perhaps be remediated, typical of beachside homes. Overall we would certainly recommend!

Fabulous family stay near great beach!

We had multi-generational family and everyone loved our stay. The space was comfy and the location close to the beach. Everything we needed was there. We highly recommend!

Lovely Week at the Beach

Great property and location to enjoy everything Santa Cruz has to offer - beach, boardwalk, restaurants, nearby attractions. Very comfortable accommodations, short walk to the beach and a couple of great breakfast places (Windmill Cafe and Evaristas). Would love to come back!

Sweet beach nearby

Cute house with space to spread out or be together. Great location, just a block and a half from the beach. Nicely equipped with outdoor shower, hot tub, sunroom, garden coffee or reading nook, and two TVs. Comfy beds and nice sheets. Hosts were quick to respond.

The bungalow was cute. Perfect for our family. Plenty of dishes and everything was clean. The only issue was the carbon monoxide alarm started going off around 11pm every hour until we contacted the owner around 2am who walked us through the deactivation of the unit. (Not battery operated). That thing was LOUD!! There were other units working in the house so no worries of poisoning. Not much sleep that night for our family. We would recommend staying there.

Great family getaway

The property was perfect for our family. My 6 year old loved the toys and my 12 year old loved his bed. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bikes were a great bonus. The location was convenient.

Wonderful stay in Santa Cruz!

We had a wonderful stay at the Beachy Keen cottage! It was the perfect size for our family of six and had plenty of amenities. The property is clean, well stocked and has lots of toys for the little ones. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub and the beach umbrella and chairs so kindly provided. Close enough to walk to the beach and a great little coffee shop and cafe (The Windmill). Thank you so much!

Nice place

This property worked well for our adult family and one toddler. Having kid toys and adult games available and the spa in the backyard made for nice evenings. It is an easy walk to the beach. It was nice to have a few seasonings and essentials in the kitchen for cooking at home. The owners were very responsive to any questions. We would stay again.

Vacation

This is an ideal house everything is great beds are comfortable and everything you need is there. Very close to santa cruz wharf which you dont want to miss sit and watch the harbor seals Ano Nuevo state park 21 miles away for elephant seal tours. Eat at Beach Hut Deli. What great sandwiches Fire Fish on the wharf is great for prawns and Dungeness crab. Enjoy this house in Santa Cruz it's fantastic

Cute Cottage

We had a nice stay at this cute cottage. It was 6 of us girlfriends having a reunion for the weekend and we enjoyed the space. It was comfortable and fairly clean. We did experience a few dirty dishes but not a big deal. The hot tub was great and the only complaints are that we needed more blankets and mixing bowls. Otherwise it was a good location and we had fun.

Second time stay even better!

After a lively time last year, we returned to an even better stay this year. We love the quiet neighborhood and private yard. The hot tub is great after d altar at the beach. We had access to everything we needed for so much beach fun! The master bed is so comfy. We brought my mom this time. She said the same about her bed! The space of the house is great for our multi-generational family. And beyond all of that, the hosts couldn’t be more helpful and responsive. My whole family and I highly recommend this place! We will be back!

Lovely Family Vacation Home

We had a great family vacation here! Our family was made up of myself, husband, our teenage son and my parents. This house is well suited for all ages! The owners did a great job stocking this house with everything you will need for a great stay. We are used to staying in time share condo's and were a little hesitant about this being our fist time renting a house but from the moment we pulled up to this house we knew we had made a great decision...and it only became more evident as we entered the house to find many "extra's". Great location for travel to San Francisco for a day or just down the road to a very relaxing beach. Would highly recommend this rental.

Girls in Santa Cruz

Bedding on master bed smelled like they were in the washer too long. So I had to strip the bed down and wash bedding, including mattress cover. Also, room with queen bed smelled musty. Otherwise, the rest of the house was very clean.

Family stay

There was plenty of room for our family of 6. The house is luted as a ocean/beach view thats incorrect. Outside bbq and outside heater did not work at all so we were unable to use those items. We arrived to the sunroom not being swept out before our arrival (8 month old found food and plastic) i had to clean it, also had to clean the coffee maker before i could make coffee.. dishes were put away dirty including coffe cups and pots and pans.
