Our nicely furnished condo is located right at the marina with Cass Cay restaurant and Trading Post steps away. This beautiful gated community of Burnt Store Marina is on Charlotte Harbor, named one of the top ten sailing destinations in the US and the King Tarpon fishing Capitol of the world! Bring your boat, rent one here, or book a cruise to enjoy Charlotte Harbor and awesome barrier islands. Or, take a short drive to popular Ft. Myers Beach and Sanibel Island where the shelling is amazing. Be sure to visit The Ding Darling Preserve to view many tropical bird species in a spectacular setting. The charming town of Punta Gorda offers great shops and restaurants, cultural activities, farmers markets, art fairs, music festivals and more. Golfers will enjoy The Links 27 hole executive golf course only five minutes from our condo. You will love the many walking and biking paths along the water and in our neighborhoods. Eating out is a pleasure at Cass Cay, a full service restaurant and bar, and The Trading Post for breakfast, deli sandwiches, pizza, ice cream, souvenirs, and basic grocery items. And they are right next store to our condo!
You have everything you need in our comfortable and nicely furnished one bedroom, one bath condo including a well equipped full kitchen and screened in lanai overlooking our Keel Club community pool. Our end unit is on the third floor and can be accessed by elevator or stairs. There is a lovely terrace right around the corner overlooking the marina where neighbors often gather for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails or just to enjoy watching boat activity at the dock.

Lovely Golf Community

We had fun golfing on the three 9 hole golf courses in the community. The pool at the condo is very nice and the people are very social. The Host is very responsive to needs.

Easter getaway

The Keel Condos at Burnt Store Marina are a great place to stay. This unit has everything you need for a short or long stay. Although we could not hook up to there internet and had to use our data everything else was fine. We would rent this place again. The pool was clean and warm and the porch overlooking the pool was peaceful

Great Place

We spent the month of March in this unit. Very comfortable, well equipped. All of the people we met were very friendly, and we will be keeping in touch with some of them. We brought a boat with us and stored it next door. The marina was very good to work with and I got a discount on gas because we stored it there.

Generally disappointed

The unit is old and outdated. When we arrived we were disappointed in the level of cleanliness. Dusty, dead cockroaches, mouldy shower curtain and unit had only ever been surface cleaned. We spent the first 2 days cleaning, disinfecting and washing everything from dishes, cutlery, area rugs, bed sheets and comforters. The bed mattress was lumpy , uncomfortable, and had no support. The tv service was intermittent as was the internet and the sofa and chair in the living room were uncomfortable. The place was reasonably stocked. When we made the owner aware of our findings she refunded us the cleaning fee. That’s it.

Business Trip for Hurricane Ian

Very lovely surroundings being literally right at the harbor. Open breezeways looking down to the swimming pool. Friendly residents who will chat with you. The condo itself was so nicely designed with access to the huge lanai from both the living room and large master bedroom. Full kitchen, laundry, and comfortable furnishings and bed. What's not to love?!

Burnt Store Marina is a piece of paradise

Love staying in Burnt Store Marina! We really enjoyed the 3rd floor lanai overlooking the pool as it was private and peaceful. Condo has a view of Palm trees and a small body of water across the street. Hosts were extremely gracious.

Fantastic stay! Peaceful and safe environment!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Keel Club condo at Burnt Store Marina. It was a safe gated community. My husband was able to run and bike on the bike paths on Burnt Store Road. My daughters enjoyed swimming in the pool (though it closes at dusk). I enjoyed renting a kayak for 4 hours, only $35 (through the Trading Post next door). During my kayaking, I saw almost 10 manatees and collected several shells from the 2 outer islands outside the marina. My husband and I enjoyed Happy Hour ($2 Bud Lites) at Cass Cay Restaurant and a nice breakfast at the Trading Post. Check out the Six Mile Slough Preserve and Fisherman's Village. We also rented a boat to take on the bay through Holidaze at Fisherman's Village (saw two dolphins). It is 12 minutes to the nearest Walmart, Publix, or McDonalds. The condo was VERY clean and we had everything we needed! The king size bed was very comfortable and my kids enjoyed the pull out sofa. There is a washer/dryer also! Jackie was very easy to contact via cell or text. My family and I had a great time visiting Punta Gorda. This is a quiet, safe, and clean environment to spend a peaceful vacation! Thanks for the memories!

enjoyed the marina more as the season was getting close and more activity than in the summer. location as to the marina is great only steps from the restaurant and deli and on the harbor....

We enjoyed the condo and Burnt Store Marina very much. The condo was well equipped. The condo was clean but could use a little updating. My only request would be to have internet access available in the condo. The Marina access is not a secured site or convenient if you need to do online banking. Many times the Marina internet was not working. Jackie the owner is a pleasure to work with. Jim and Claudia - We stayed a month- January 2017.

I enjoyed my stay very much, but believe the condo does need to be updated.

While I enjoyed the condo and the area very much, I do feel it is becoming a bit seedy. I didn't care much for the shag carpet (which appeared dirty even though it was not), and the bathroom, especially the toilet and tub area was so small I kept bumping my elbow constantly. So, while I enjoyed the complex very much and especially the price, which was very reasonable, I do feel the condo needs some updating. Overall, I would return again, but think the condo could be improved some.

Great spot

We always love going to Burnt Store Marina! This condo was great because it was right next door to the great Restaurant and the marina... The size was perfect for us , not too big and not too small. Really enjoyed the screened in porch overlooking the pool... We stayed for the month of Feb and the weather was beautiful! thanks C & L

Great stay

This condo was perfect for our needs. Very clean and convenient. Right at the marina, next to a fantastic restaurant and awesome friendly neighbors! We had a great time staying here and can't wait to do it again. The condo was outfitted great with everything you.might need or want. Nice big screened porch overlooking the pool.

Honeymoon and family

We had a wonderful time visiting family, and Punta Gorda, with the stay most relaxing. The unit was very spacious, well presented and homely. We utilised the restaurant, store and wharf while there, and all were excellent. We would certainly come back here. You do need a car!

Great Stay

The unit was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the numerous amenities available. The food at Cass Cay was excellent. We especially enjoyed the Easter brunch.

We live in Park City, UT and although we love to ski, we wanted an occasional break from the winter. Thanks to Sail magazine, we found Punta Gorda and Burnt Store Marina. We bought a sailboat located in a slip at Burnt Store Marina in 2011 and love to sail Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico. We are impressed with this gated Marina and golf community and decided to invest in it for the long term with this condo and a two bedroom home as rental properties.
