This wonderful recently restored 5BD villa is located in the heart of the Chianti region, just steps away from the town of Greve.

The villa traces its origin back to the 1300 and has recently been tastefully renovated and exquisitely furnished. The careful attention to details by the owner, who has owned the property for more than 35 years, contributes into making this villa a truly unique place with a very sophisticated, cozy and elegant atmosphere.

From the villa it is possible to enjoy the most lovely views on the typical Tuscan landscape, full of vineyards, olive groves and cypress peaked hillsides.

The garden of the villa is always perfectly kept and features plenty of outdoors furniture for the 2 covered verandas as well as for the pool area... Which makes it perfect for relaxing, and enjoying the views with a glass of wine or for al fresco dining (a vintage barbecue is available).
The private swimming pool (size 45 x 19 feet) overlooks wonderful views of the typical Tuscan countryside and comes fully furnished with lounges and shaded areas.

Location.
The villa is located nearby the heart of the village of Greve in Chianti as well as just a few minutes away from the beautiful medieval village of Montefioralle.

To reach Montefioralle, which is one of the most ancient villages in the Chianti area and is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, you can just travel by foot (about 5 minutes). The original name of this village was "Monteficalle," referring to the fig trees that grow in the fields around the castle... here you can find two great restaurants (one with outdoor seating) offering some of the best Tuscan specialties as well as a fabulous winery.

To reach Greve, which is often considered as the “entrance gate” into the Chianti region, you can travel from the villa by foot (about 10 minutes walk), by bike, or by car (3 minutes drive). The beautiful main square of Greve, Piazza Matteotti, is the focal point of the town, where there are several excellent restaurants such as: the Osteria Mangiando Mangiando, the Bottega del Moro or the Osteria del chianti classico as well as many other typical grocery stores, artisan shops and the famous Antica Macelleria Falorni (a Tuscan butcher that has been in the same spot since 1729). Nearby the square there is also a large supermarket.

The city of Florence is about a 35 minute drive, Siena is about a 1 hour drive, and San Gimignano is about a 50 minute drive away.

Description of the interiors.
The villa features 5 charming bedrooms and 4 bathrooms in total, so it can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests.

Ground Floor: The villa's main door opens into a sitting room followed by a large living room with a fireplace and TV (with satellite channels). From the entrance sitting room there are a few stairs to reach the first bedroom (with two twin beds) and an ensuite bathroom (with shower).

The dining area is directly connected to the outdoor veranda (that comes fully furnished with sofas and very comfortable furniture) and to the private garden. Next to dining room is the spacious and fully equipped kitchen that comes with a large wood dining table (that seats up to 10 guests).

First Floor: Halfway up the stairs from the ground floor's living room going to the first floor, there is a double bedroom (with two twin beds) with attached bathroom (tub and handheld shower).
On the first floor there is another bedroom with two twin beds and a King bedroom that shares a bathroom with a shower.
At the end of the first floor's corridor there is the magnificent master bedroom (with King bed) with the ensuite bathroom with tub (and handheld shower). The villa is air-conditioned.
