This property was wonderful. The staff at check in and check out were so nice and friendly. We definitely felt the Aloha. The view was wonderful and the unit was very nice and up to date. The pool was delightful. We enjoyed sitting outside on the lanai for coffee, drinks, and just relaxing and enjoying the view. With binoculars we even saw some whales in the distance spouting. A nice surprise.

Great place

Family of 5 adults had a great time. Great location to multiple beaches and attractions. Views of sunrise from the lanai were amazing! Only inconvenience was it is a 3rd floor unit with no elevator, but the view was worth it.

Great view, great location, nice condo

This condo has AMAZING views. It is in a wonderfully central location. It's got a well-stocked kitchen and is very nice place to stay.

Good location, but there are better units.

Top floor unit is good, but it's adjacent to Pee Road, so you hear work vehicles. Unit is in pretty bad state of repair. Rusted/broken window levers, broken screen, shower curtain. Floor water sensor went off while we were at a restaurant (which we're sure the neighbors loved) and had to get Prop Mgr via phone to walk through how to deactivate it. Several lights were not working (one hanging from its cable). Microwave was non-functional when we arrived, but they brought another that was placed on the countertop. TVs are small, antiquated, and difficult to operate. 1 room doorknob was broken.

Great location and views.

We had a great time at this property. The pictures are very realistic and the entire process from checking in was great. I emailed the management company about access to the pickleball courts prior to my arrival but never heard back. The only issue with the property was the internet connection which was very poor.

Great Condo with Beautiful Grounds and Sunrise Views

Top floor, very quiet, and exceptionally clean. Check-in was easy and staff was very pleasant and welcoming (note that the office is located apart from the complex a few minutes down the road). The lanai is roomy and faces southeast for beautiful views of the sunrise and Shipwreck Beach. Tastefully decorated, attractive artwork and comfortably furnished (if a bit dated). A couple of things are a little worn (screen door to lanai was sticky and cooler in closet has a broken handle), but could be easily remedied by the property manager. Great washer/dryer combo stored adjacent to a nice collection of titles for beach reading and a closet that includes two beach chairs, two boogie boards, and a beach umbrella. Perfect for a family of four--accommodations on one side for a couple, on the other for two older children--or for a couple like us that just wanted ample space. Kitchen had all the necessities for our needs (silverware, plates, bowls, dishwasher, detergents)--we stopped at Costco in Lihue and picked up some easy dinners, snacks and breakfast items. 12-15 minute beautiful stroll to a perfect Poipu sunset, further to get to Poipu Beach (lifeguard). We are active so didn't mind the sunset stroll, but up ended making the short drive to the beach--parking was right across the street. This unit is part of a larger, very quiet condo complex with beautifully manicured grounds and a nice pool (a little chilly). The property is adjacent to that of the Grand Hyatt--the sidewalks connect to allow for a stroll through that hotel's gorgeous outdoor garden (a must) and access to Shipwreck Beach (not lifeguarded, waves were too rough for us). We easily used this as home base for the beach and other excursions across the island. All-in-all, great value, just what we needed, and we would definitely return!

Beautiful location

The location , view and sound of the sea are incredible for this property. The only shortcomings we saw are that since the management company closes at 6 pm, if you arrive after that you are on your own locating everything. The other thing is that there were many TV remotes all on the coffee table with no guidance as to which works with which TV. So you have to use trial and error to figure it out.

Gorgeous!

Poipu Sands was wonderful from check-in to check-out. Suite Paradise check-in was easy and the gentleman who took care of us was very friendly and helpful. The same experience at check-out. The young lady was delightful. Our condo was GREAT! Enjoyed the exceptional view very much. The condo was spacious and well equipped. Recommend staying here, for sure.

Great stay on Kauai

It was great. Loved the location as we had a medical conference at the Hyatt. Loves Shipwreck Beach close by. Would stay there again. Was a little concerned about lack of AC but it was fine.

Outstanding!

Our family of five had a wonderful vacation at Poipu Sands 133. I had a medical conference in the mornings at the Hyatt next-door. For the price of the least expensive 2 person room at the Hyatt we got instead this beautiful 2 bedroom condo. Breathtaking views! Easy walking distance to nice beaches. Easy walk to the Hyatt for my conference. Nice kitchen, living room, dining room, and especially the lovely large Lanai looking out over the ocean. Parking was steps away from the condo. A wonderful place to come back to after our adventures on Kauai! Highly recommended.

Very nice clean condo with a good view.

The condo was very nice and clean with a nice large porch/lanai for lounging and/or dining. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking. Several nights we picked up fresh fish from the market, cooked dinner and ate on the porch with a nice breeze blowing and a nice view.

Great Location

We loved our stay at Poipu Sands! The condo was very spacious and had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the south side of Kauai and provided easy access to various site-seeing activities on the west side of the island.

March 2018 Stay

We have loved all of the space and view our room had to offer. All of the little extras like the bogie boards, games, cooler, umbrella all came in handy! It was our anniversary and the nice gift we were handed was so sweet and appreciated! Upon our arrival we also received a nice bottle of wine! So many thoughtful touches to make our stay memorable. The view from our room was absolutely amazing. Thank you for an amazing family vacation🌴❤️

Great condo in a stunning location!

We truly loved our stay at Poipu Sands. The condo was lovely - new bathrooms/kitchen plus a huge lanai with a perfect view of the sunrise. The property itself was perfectly situated. We could walk to the beach in 5 minutes, easily access the pool, walk over to the Hyatt for the beautiful grounds and do short hikes to the cliffs. We would definitely stay here again!!

We arrived to our condo and was just amazed at the magnficent view when you walk in!!! BEAUTIFUL! We enjoyed our stay very much and this was our 2nd time at Poipu Sands Condos(1st time staying in this one) We loved being up high on the 3rd floor because the views were so great and no one was above us. There is some road noise since the windows and doors are opened all the time (no air conditioning) which we knew about. The kitchen is well stocked and we found everything to our liking except the Beds! They are super FIRM and we all found them very hard to sleep on. This would be the only reason we would not stay in this particular condo again. You may want to update the mattresses for future guests! LOVE KAUAI!!!!
