Arlene's Family Vacation Home on Golf Course--4 miles to WDW!

Affordable Luxury -- Stay at my upscale Disney themed home with private pool and spa overlooking Mystic Dunes Golf Course for your next Disney World area vacation.

We visit our home often, so we can pay close attention to details at our home to ensure your stay will be a very pleasant one. In addition, we have a wonderful local manager who takes great care of our home and our guests!

It is located in a quiet, residential community--just 4 miles from Disney World and 15 minutes to Sea World and Universal Orlando.

The property is registered and licensed with the state of Florida and Osceola County.

Each room is tastefully Disney themed--even the pool and spa are Disney themed. The home is luxuriously equipped throughout with all the necessities and much more! Not your ordinary vacation home -- a vacation destination in itself. Children love staying at my home -- so do their parents! Please try to book your vacation at my home as early as possible -- my home fills up quickly.

Being an annual passholder at Disney World and Sea World, I am always happy to help my guests plan their trips to the Disney World area.

Wonderful home base

What a wonderful house! Was a nice, quiet neighborhood, easy to get to and was better than expected! Absolutely fun Disney themed rooms, large kitchen, plenty of room to spread out. And we LOVED the pool! Thank you so much for an incredible home base during our stay.

Absolutely Loved it!

The description of the home was spot on. It was very clean and beautiful. The home was easy to find & access was easy as well. Great communication with Arlene. She prepared us very well, with information about the area & the drive to and from parks. It was just myself, my son & his girlfriend and was spacious enough for more guests. We enjoyed relaxation time in the pool & hot tub as well. Would definitely recommend stayng here!

Great house

Great family stay

Arlene is a super nice home owner and very good at communicating with the guests. Her home is well situated to the theme parks. The kids enjoyed playing in the pool.

Wonderful Vacation

We really enjoyed our week at Arlene's vacation home. The property was very clean and warmly decorated. The pool area was very enjoyable and Arlene was very accomodating and responsive. We hope to return!

Relaxing!

This charming house is like home away from home. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the neighborhood is very quiet. We loved the private pool after a long day at the parks!

Had a great stay! House is well stocked with everything you need. Pool area is very private. Great quiet neighborhood. Loved listening to all the birds in the morning. Great location.

All we needed

Arlene's home was perfect for our family of 5. All we needed close to the parks. Pool was perfect at the end of a long day. Pool is very private which was nice. Home has everything and more you could need.

Wonderful home

This property was everything we could have asked for. Close to all the Disney parks. Spacious for our family to relax after a long day Park Hopping and close enough to take a break in the middle of the day.

Perfect retreat

My husband and I enjoyed a 9 day stay with our son, daughter in law and granddaughter. Arlene's home was a great location for us to go to Disney and visit family and friends in the area. The traffic from Disney to her home was tame compared to traffic going other directions. The rooms were private and comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with any equipment needed to cook a meal.

A home away from home

Truly a guest-friendly home. Pre-arrival communication with Arlene was just right. It's clear she takes pride in offering guests a "home", not just a "house." It's the little things like a supply of coffee-maker filters, a clothes tree near the pool to hang swimwear (just to name a couple) that make the difference between good and great. Highly recommended.

Will certainly be back!

This is a fantastic holiday home with everything and so much more than you could want or need on vacation. The kitchen had more utensils and gadgets than we knew what to do with! If you’re a Disney fan, you’re going to LOVE the decor, it’s so much fun. The pool is an excellent size too, and the location is amazing for all the dining options on the 192 - and so easy to get to the Disney/Universal too. Can’t recommend enough, we will definitely be staying here again. Arlene is a joy to deal with too, and really cares which just makes everything so much better. Thank you!!!

Worth booking just to stay there, relax and enjoy?

This house is exactly as a listed. When you get there you open that front door, it just welcomes you into the home. My son is special needs, and he doesn't quickly go into spaces willingly but when we opened that door he ran in and he was so happy! The house is tastefully decorated, certainly for many of the reasons you may be in the Orlando area. For us. It was perfect. In a home, in a neighborhood, 25 minutes away from the theme parks. We will be coming back just to visit the greater Orlando area and will be booking this HOME again. Arlene the owner is FANTASTIC in communicating and general welcoming and VERY accommodating. Our son LOVED having his own Mickey Mouse bedroom and the pool was SO relaxing, clean and fun.

Perfect home in ideal location

My wife and I visited with 3 kids ages 9, 11 and 14. Everyone loved the home. It was clean and spacious. Each kid had their own room. We slept in the master which has a very comfortable king size bed and en-suite bathroom. We didn’t have a lot of time to check out the TV’s but each room had one with access to Roku. The pool was a real hit with all of us. We paid for the pool and hot tub to be heated. It was so nice to soak after a long day of walking at the parks. The kitchen is stocked with anything you need for cooking. We enjoyed the washer and dryer as we were able to do some laundry before leaving. It was nice to get home without a ton of dirty clothes. The home location is in a great spot very close to the parks. A Walmart is right down the street which is super convenient. Arlene was great to work with too. She was very informative and sent a pamphlet of everything we needed to know ahead of time. We will definitely look to stay here again on our next trip.

Our Family stay @ Arlenes Family Home

I have mixed emotions about this review- I will list the PROS : When it was discovered we had no hot water (The hot water tank was said to be a 1982 model according to the plumber… surprised it lasted so long!!) Arlene did get a plumber in on the third night. They were there til 11pm- but she did her absolute hardest to find a plumber on such notice. So, it’s obvious that she does want to make things correct and have a happy guest. The house is pretty close to all and everything Disney/tourists that everyone wants to visit. The pool is nice , kids loved it. Beds are comfy, and overall the size of the house is nice and comfy for when visiting Orlando. CONS: My MAJOR complaint of the entire trip when staying @ Arlene’s House would have to be the overall cleanliness of the house. The house truly needs a good deep clean. It’s so very dusty all over everything. The fake plants all around all the rooms are so thick with dust, the fruit basket I put apples and bannans in had a web on the top, light fixtures have them. The vents and fans are dirty and need a good scrub down. All the Mickey Knick Knacks are covered in a layer of dust. Do to this, after a while I got the feeling of the house just not being totally clean. It’s a very pretty house- it could use a little updating. The hot tub just NEVER worked properly, and this was a very big disappointment to my twins. Arlene sent the neighbor over, but it just never worked. It would have been very helpful if the house was stocked with a few more items like paper towsels, more than 2 garbage bags, pepper, bleach, laundry detergent…. Items that when we buy are gonna be hard to travel with. I understood that her house was limited on stock before hand, but I didn’t realize just how inconvenient it would be to have to FULLY STOCK a vaca home for a week. Overall, my kids had fun and so did hubby -ultimately that’s what matters- but all of us would have been happier in a cleaner house. Arlene, we do thank you for helping us with the hot water. We are the Caruso Family of Saylorsburg, PA. For 43 years we have lived in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. We grew up in the greater Philadelphia area and moved to the Poconos to enjoy the beauty and nature that this area offers. It has been a great place to raise our 5 children. I love the summers here--but I hate the winters--lol!

Since we hate the winters in Pennsylvania and we all love Disney World--it made sense to buy a home in this area. Owning this home, has made us very popular grandparents! This property was bought because as they say in real estate--'The three most important things are--location, location, location'! Our guests love our location since we are very close to the theme parks, shopping, restaurants, etc.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

It was important to us to have a spa--not just a pool at our vacation home. Our pool and spa have separate thermostats and a new gas heater--making our spa into a hot tub. Our pool and spa both have safety rails for our older guests and we added a pool security fence for our younger guests.
We love the golf course view that this house enjoys! Where we live in Pennsylvania, we have privacy, quiet, beauty and can enjoy nature-- this home also has privacy, quiet, beauty and we do enjoy the nature around us. So for us it is just like home and a great place for ourselves, our children and now our grandchildren!
