Bethany Beach - Beautiful Family house overlooking 90 acre Salt Pond

Watch the sun rise directly from your bed! Nap in the hammocks! Kayak from our dock! Located in the Salt Pond community, our waterfront property has three levels of living space; the top level hosts a 180 degree view over a beautiful 90-acre Salt Pond. Activities for all family members. Floor-to-ceiling windows looking east over the pond, which is teeming with wildlife including herons, ospreys, crabs, geese, ducks, migratory birds. The pond is ideal for kayaking, paddle boarding, wind-surfing, and swimming from our private dock.

Our home has five bedrooms (sleeps 12 people comfortably) across 3 floors, two living-rooms, full modern kitchen, washer, dryer, 3 open decks, an enclosed porch, children's play room full of toys and a popular puppet theater, a full bath on each floor (one with bath-sized hot tub), 3 TVs, DVD/BluRay and Video, DirectTV, internet, outdoor shower. Tastefully decorated -- and not your usual beach rental decor. Ideal for a multi-generational family with children or for two or more families to share.

Enjoy our two kayaks (one 2-person and one 1-person ocean kayak), two stand up paddle (SUP) boards, and a canoe. No extra charge for boat use, however a waiver is required for families wanting to use the kayaks/canoe/paddle boards and dock.

The beautiful ocean beach is in easy bicycling or driving distance - about 5 minutes by car to north end of Bethany Beach board-walk.

Rental includes access to outdoor and indoor swimming pools at the Salt Pond community center, along with outdoor tennis courts, pickle ball court, volleyball court, half basketball court, and exercise/fitness room. The Salt Pond Golf course is next to the community center for a fee (not included in rental).

Min 2 nights rental during off-season, 7 nights during high-peak summer season.
Summers: Summer rentals from Memorial day until Labor day are week-long rentals (Sat-Sat). Guests often return back to our unique family vacation house, adding family tradition to their summers.
No smoking, no pets, no loud partying. No loud music outside. No beach weeks, no teenage groups, no groups of young adults in their 20s unless known to owner. This is a family home and we hope you treasure your time here as much as we do.

To prevent reservations that are fraudulent do not meet our stated criteria, all rental agreements are contingent on receiving a photo or scan of the ID of the person responsible for the rental agreement, along with the filled in registration form requiring names and ages of the guests. Should these documents not be received in a timely manner the reservation will be canceled by owner.
