Awesome ocean front condo in the heart of Mission Beach!

Sunset Sands is a lovely two bedroom one bath condo located on the third floor right on the ocean front directly on beautiful Mission Beach in San Diego. This cozy and upscale condo is great for all. A private balcony and most rooms have an unobstructed view of the beach and ocean. Comfortably furnished and fully stocked this condo sleeps up to 6 and has everything you need. The owners continue to improve and upgrade during their stays. This year (2023), they've put in a brand cabnitry in the master bedroom, a ceiling fan and a new window. They've also put a really nice screen door so you can have a wonderful crossbreeze off the ocean. New photos to come soon. The newest features they've added are an electric fireplace in the living room and a portable A/C unit in the master bedroom. Another cool feature is the end table that has USB connector capability for your cell phones, lap top computers and more. An HD TV in the living room and master bedroom. Also provided along with a stereo system, games, puzzles, magazines, and books. The kitchen is beautiful with quartz counter tops, and new track lighting at the breakfast bar and dining area. Also stocked with all the items you need to cook, like a crock pot, George Foreman grill, and electric griddle, emersion blender, and a blender to make your favorite drinks, coffee maker, toaster, and all. This will make your home away from home all that much more comfortable and enjoyable.

The master bedroom has a queen bed overlooking the ocean. The second bedroom has two twins, however we do have the equipmwnent to turn them into a king size bed so if that's something you would like, please let us know at time of reservation so we can prepare it for you! There is a sink in between the twin bedroom and hallway. Also, for extra sleeping, there is a deluxe air mattress to sleep up to 6.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay! The mission beach vibe is such a wonderful location. Parking could not have been nicer. Many restaurants and coffee shops within a short walk.

Our family had the perfect stay. This condo is right in the middle of PB and MB. The deck was outstanding and rhe condo came with all the beach amenities you may need.

We had a really nice time sunset sands, the apartment is perfect in terms of location and simply sitting on the balcony and watching the sea. Cindy was communicative and helpful.

Fantastic location, most everything is walkable. We rented a car and I wished we hadn't, ride-shares are very available. There's 2 a small market and liquor store that's a 2 min walk from the condo.Really nice place and Cindy (our host) was very responsive to messages. The kitchen is very well stocked also, but why cook with so many great restaurants that are 10 min walk.I would stay there again without reservation.

The location of this condo cannot be beat. Beautiful sunsets every night and walking distance to so many restaurants. Host was very communicative and hospitable! Can’t wait to go back!

The location of this property was EXCELLENT. You can see the ocean from the kitchen, the family room and the master bedroom. The view from the balcony is incredible. Right out to the beach and when you're at the rail, you look right down on the boardwalk - people watching at its peak. Shopping and restaurants are easily walkable.The unit does NOT have A/C throughout. There is a portable A/C unit in the master bedroom, but it is not movable as the exhaust is fixed in the window. This also means you can't open the master bedroom window for outside air. The front room with the twin beds does not have an A/C unit and gets very stuffy unless you open the window and get a cross breeze by opening the arcadia door on the back balcony. However, if I had kids, I would never leave that window open at night so it would get warm in there. There is a locking security screen door on the front door that allows for a beautiful cross breeze that cools off the family room/kitchen. It's wonderful. We were there in early Sept and it was beautiful, but I bet it's quite warm in the height of summer.Parking is great and we felt like our car was always safe however if you have mobility issues with stairs, getting in and out using the side door is difficult. We were asked not to use the garage door as foot entry and exit to the parking.Overall, we loved this place as would stay here again but not in the dead of summer without another available A/C unit.

Awesome trip

Host was incredibly accommodating, texted us 2x to see how things were going and if there was anything she could do, after I didn’t respond to her first one because we were having so much fun.Location can’t be beat!!
