4 BR, 4.5 BA Private Home – Hot Tub – On Golf Course!

This may be the best year-round location in Breckenridge. Sitting on a Jack Nicklaus-designed 27-hole golf course, it’s just a short distance from bike trails, fly fishing and miles of Nordic skiing, and it’s an easy drive Breckenridge Ski Resort and downtown Breckenridge for shopping, dining and entertainment. Throw in a private hot tub, and everyone in your group will love it!

This spacious 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home is a great retreat for large families or groups of up to 12 people. Entering the great room, you’ll be welcomed by a beautiful 30-foot-tall vaulted ceiling with log trusses and a bridge spanning the room on the second floor. Relax by the moss rock fireplace and the flat-screen TV while looking out over the fifth tee of the golf course and the beautiful forests surrounding it. The fully equipped kitchen has granite countertops and seating for eight at the dining table and 4 more at the counter. There are patio doors from the breakfast bar that open onto the ground level patio where you’ll find a gas grill and private hot tub.

All guests staying at the Hohenmark Haus will absolutely love the private bathrooms with jetted tubs in every bedroom. Other amenities include a washer & dryer, ski storage, complimentary Wi-Fi, and parking for four vehicles. And like every Summit Mountain Rentals property, the home comes stocked with plenty of linens, towels and hotel-like toiletries, and it’s professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival. Our helpful staff is also available 24 hours a day to ensure you have everything you need to make your stay with us an unforgettable experience.

- Bedroom 1: queen bed, queen sleeper sofa, private bathroom with jetted tub/shower. (sleeps 4)

- Bedroom 3: captain’s bunk (twin over full), queen futon, private bathroom with jetted tub/shower. (sleeps 5)

Main Level:
- Master bedroom: queen bed, private bathroom with jetted tub and steam shower, gas fireplace, flat-screen TV. (sleeps 2)
- Living area: queen sleeper sofa. (sleeps 2)
- Bathroom: 1/2 guest bath.

Special Unit Notes – Please Read:
- No Pets / No Smoking.
- A $500 refundable damage deposit will be charged to credit card at check in.
- Renters must be a minimum of 25 years old.

Ski Trip Get Away

Great house for a large group of skiers. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. Large kitchen and eating area for everyone. Hot Tub is a bonus after a long day of skiing. We had an issues with the alarm system sounding due to low battery and they fixed it right away the same day we called.

Loved this spot

Great place! Large, bright, and spacious, with a warm family feel. Right on the Nordic ski tracks and 10 min to downtown. Great hottub. Overall, nice pick for a large group!

Grandkids trip

It was very nice, location was perfect a little expensive on eating out so next time we will eat at home hopefully they will have better pans or I’ll just bring my own. Thanks for memory’s of a lifetime.

Great house for a big family!

Awesome hot tub! Huge kitchen....plenty of room for every one! Could use some better TVs in living room and master BR so Netflix and other channels could be used. Had a great time in a beautiful home! Would stay in again for our next ski trip!

Loved staying here. Location was perfect for us we wanted to ski three locations – Breckenridge, Keystone and Vail. House was good for our group. Very comfy and spacious. The only thing I would recommend is replacing the full size bed in the Master suite with a queen or king size bed.

The views were breathtaking being from corpus christi tx the beautiful cool weather was simply the best... the house was amazing we were out late the night before so woke up late Apologies 😴 my granddaughter didnt want to leave especially the jacuzzi

Nice getaway

Everything good, location excellent kids enjoyed the area playing in the snow had tons of fun. House located in an awesome spot and everything is local. Only problem is furniture is very outdated. mattresses need to be replaced and a better condition tv in the living room because when traveling with kids a decent working tv is a must.

Overall a great stay!

Great place to stay with plenty of room! Couple of the mattresses could stand to be replaced... or at least add a topper. Would also be helpful if there had been a snow shovel, an indoor broom for tidying, and at least a couple of extra garbage bags or let people know to bring their own. I would stay again though! Thank you!

Lovely and convenient property right by Breckenridge

This was a beautiful and huge home, and it was incredibly convenient for us as a group who stayed the weekend to ski. The hot tub was amazing, it's only a 10 min walk to a shuttle that takes you right to Breckenridge, the fireplace is fantastic, and it felt larger than the photos! Our only feedback is that the place could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly. Generally areas were clean, but we found some areas that were quite dusty, and with people who stayed in the pull out beds we found it wasn't as properly cleaned for us. However, we'd certainly stay again!

Nice mountain getaway

Nice enough, strange decorations in the living room. Rented specifically for the pianos as my girlfriend is a musician and they were both terribly out of tune and unplayable. This was disappointing. Great location and a hot tub. Just the pianos as reasoning for 4 stars not 5.

Renter Beware

The property management company, Summit Rentals, was awesome and very prompt to respond to our inquires. While the house is big enough for a large group and is in a great location for skiing at Breckenridge, the house was not well maintained. Summit Rentals did everything we asked to make it better, but it was as if the owners are not putting any money into the property. The cookware was old, filthy, and not a complete set, i.e. no lids to match to pots and pans correctly (Summit Rentals brought us a new set of cookware), and no Tupperware for leftovers. The house uses radiant floor heat which meant the bedrooms upstairs were chilly at night. There were space heaters for the bedrooms but none of them worked. There are no floor mats at any of the entries to the house so snow and dirt constantly gets tracked into the house, thus the floors get filthy real fast. The hot tub is nice but the jets only work effectively on one side. Overall we had a good stay thanks to Summit Rentals, but the nagging issues with the house kept it from being a great stay.

Garage Sale Extravaganza

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house over Christmas week. It is a nice,big house with heated floors which is nice. However, the furniture is ancient and extremely uncomfortable. It made me think that the owners went to hundreds of garage sales to outfit the place! And the kitchen is a horror to attempt to cook in. It is well stocked for large parties, but with only 2 burners on the stove (other side of stove is a grill) and the lack of useful cooking utensils, preparing a meal was a nightmare. Do yourself a favor and skip this place! Wish someone had warned us!

It was great that each of our 3 married couples had their own room while the younger kids in our family shared the bunk room and sleeper sofa in the 2nd living area. The kitchen is huge and well-stocked with plates, glasses, pots, pans, etc. The home was also well-stocked with paper towels and toilet paper. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms quite large. Having 4 1/2 bathrooms was also a huge plus. The location is great with just a 5-7 minute drive to town. The lot is huge with plenty of trees to hang our hammocks! Our only gripe was that both both pianos and horribly out of tune and not playable. We have a very musical family and were excited to play on the grand piano. We were disappointed. The pianos are there for decoration purposes only.The only maintenance issue was a malfunctioning and VERY loud fan in the master bathroom. That definitely needs a repair or replacement.Overall, we loved this home and would stay here again!

Fun Family Time / Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were hesitant to rent this place based on the photos BUT, we were pleasantly surprised upon entering the property. The house is located in a great location, close to town, near groceries, gas, brewery, restaurants. We weren't skiing so I can't address that! We did enjoy using the Gold Run Nordic Center so close to this property (actually just over the back fence) where we cross country skied and snowshoed. The whole family loved this activity.The house is a beautiful big and open log beam construction. The furnishing are what outdates the house. The master suite is large and has some nice perks - a fireplace, large whirlpool soaking tub and huge steam shower - the furniture needs replaced - this room needs a big King bed instead of a small queen that really feels like a double bed. The rest of the bedrooms are good with private bathrooms. The bunk room is unfortunate if all of the guests are adults as we were - no one wanted that room and the beds there aren't good either. Bunks are fine but put a Queen bed there for the adults who need the room. The living room is a good gathering spot but needs brighter lighting and better lamps, the TV can't be viewed by one half of the room - the furniture could be better arranged. We loved the use of the garage, the hot tub, the radiant heat, the enormous kitchen and the location. The kitchen tile floors need a good scrubbing, our socks and bare feet got dirty :( Overall we would stay here again and hopefully this feedback helps the owners make some needed changes.

Wonderful property with a disappointing twist

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property has a great location, was clean,comfortable and roomy. The Summit Mountain staff we interacted with were friendly. However, we arrived at the property to find the thermostat set at 58 degrees. A note above it stated to allow 12 hours for the home to reach a desired temperature because of the in-floor heating. We spent the first 8 hours of our stay in our jackets and blankets, with only a 3 degree increase in temperature during that time. This was disappointing because we had planned our first day/evening to relax and enjoy the property and go skiing the following day. Clearly, there was an oversight on someone's part somewhere; our departing instructions were to leave the thermostat set at 65 degrees upon checkout, which we did. The Summit Mountain associate we contacted politely told us he would pass on the specifics so that that this would not happen to other renters. An email sent to the supervisor describing the situation has not been returned. We are glad future renters may not have a repeat of our experience but disappointed that what happened during our stay was not addressed. When paying $600 per night, it is not unreasonable to expect a much more comfortable environment.

We enjoyed playing yard games in the backyard and walking the golf course after hours. The home is well-stocked and furnished with comfortable furniture and beds. Our only complaint was the lack of towels. There should at least be enough towels for the number of people the house sleeps.
